“Sydney took such good care of our cats. The daily pictures and detailed updates gave us such peace of mind while we were on vacation. Her love for animals is obvious and I highly recommend her!”
“Aqsa is great with our dogs and they are a bit of a handful. A German shepherd and pit bull. They gravitate to her and they trust her. That is very hard to find. If you are looking for a great pet sitter she is the one I recommend”

“Bailey was fantastic! 🐾 We booked her to stop by twice to check on our pups, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, dependable, and made us feel completely comfortable knowing our little hooligans were in good hands. Our dogs gave her two paws up… and since they don’t have thumbs, that’s basically a standing ovation. 😂 Thank you, Bailey, for taking such great care of our crew! We’d happily book with you again and highly recommend you to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pets like family. 🐾🩵🐾🩷”

About: I have had pets my entire life, including dogs, cats, fish, and hamsters, which has given me experience caring for animals with different needs and personalities. I have also watched my neighbors' dogs for the past six years, helping with feeding, walking, playtime, and general care. In addition, I currently have a dog of my own, so I understand the importance of providing pets with attention, exercise, patience, and loving care. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom, and my kids are in school during the day, which gives me plenty of free time to care for pets. After dropping my kids off at school, I'm generally available from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM for walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, and giving pets attention and companionship. While I do pick my kids up from school and attend some after-school activities, I have a flexible schedule and can provide dependable, loving care throughout the day. In my home, I care for a two-year-old Goldendoodle, a pink toe tarantula, and fish, so I'm experience with caring for different of pets and their individual needs. My dog gets daily walks, is fed twice a day, and enjoys treats, regular grooming, and plenty of playtime both indoors and outdoors. I make sure all of my pets receive lots of attention, exercise, and loving care every day. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their normals routine as closely as possible to help pets feel comfortable and safe. I have watched my neighbor's' dogs on many occasions while they were on vacation or away for weekends. During those times, I visited their home about four times a day to walk, feed, play with, and give attention to their dogs. I also cared for their fish by feeding them and checking on them during each visit. I understand how important it is for pet owners to know their pets are being cared for with patience, reliability, and love.
About: Hi! I’m Brad, and I’m the proud owner of Copper, my fox red Labrador, who has been my adventure partner for years. We spend our time hiking, exploring trails, playing disc golf, swimming, and getting plenty of exercise together. After a 25+ year career in leadership, cybersecurity, and the U.S. Navy, I’m taking a new chapter that gives me the opportunity to spend more time doing something I genuinely enjoy—caring for dogs. If you’re looking for someone who will simply show up, keep your dog safe, communicate well, and treat your pet like family, I’d love to help. Structured, active, flexible schedule with morning exercise, outdoor time, and availability for walks and visits, ensuring dependable, attentive, safe, and engaging care for your dog. I offer care at clients homes where your pet will be treated like my own, I won’t do overnights but am happy to do several drop jus and visits / walk / play / snuggle and feed
About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give every pet. For the past few years, I’ve been trusted by friends and family to care for their dogs and cats while they’re away, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m dependable, responsible, and understand how important it is for pets to stay on their normal routine. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is in caring and reliable hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! I am working to start my own business, so my schedule is very flexible. I am able to step away from work almost anytime. I understand how important it is to be reliable and available. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I’ll follow your instructions closely to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I have experience working with younger dogs and reinforcing basic training, so I’m comfortable encouraging good behaviors while keeping walks fun and positive. If needed, I can safely crate your dog or cat according to your instructions. I love giving dogs plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. If your pet enjoys longer outings, I’d be happy to take them on walks at local spots like Apex Nature Park around Lake Pine or other pet-friendly trails, with your permission. My goal is for you to have complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is safe, well cared for, and receiving plenty of attention and affection while you’re away.
About: I have been around dogs and cats my whole life and have been trusted with family and friends pets . I have raised two puppies into well-behaved dogs. Daily walks, training, bathing, ball-throwing, all things. I had a momma cat birth four kittens in my garage, my mother and I took them in and managed to care for them for 12 weeks until we found safe and trusted homes for them. I currently have a part time job. My schedule varies week to week but am very flexible and open to any days/times you need me. I will care for your animals with pure love and patience while respecting your home. My care will include walks, feeding, changing water so it’s fresh, playing, and of course, pets and cuddles.

“You can feel confident booking with Cara! She did an amazing job with our dog Pippa! She was punctual, responsible, and paid attention to detail. She was very thorough and kept good communication while we were away! If we ever need care again we will definitely book her!”

About: Hi there! I have been caring for animals since I was a child. In my teens, I became an animal rights activist, marched on Washington for rights for animals, and then became a deputized animal cruelty investigator. In my twenties, I went to law school to improve animal laws and enforcement. I developed the animal law program at my law school, and created an animal fighting task force for LAPD. Since becoming a lawyer, I have continued to advocate for animals and spend as much time as I can in the company of all animals great and small. Having worked in both animal shelters and a vet office, I have extensive animal handling, fostering, rescue, and pet sitting experience. I am comfortable with all breeds, species, and ages, and am happy to work with animals with medical needs. I enjoy eco-travel (to see the world's fauna in their native habitats), and it is a challenge to stay abroad for extended periods with pets, so I am down to just one sweet 18 year-old kitty that I've had since she was a kitten. Pet sitting affords me the opportunity to spend time with more animals, which feeds my soul. I work remotely, so my time is very flexible. I can accomodate a variety of scheduling needs, and am fine with both last minute bookings and cancellations. I understand that life often brings unforseen opportunities and circumstances. I have cared for virtually all species of pets and farm animals, in my own home and in sanctuaries, shelters, and clients' homes. I am able to accomodate really any pet care requests.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
