About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 10 years, and caring for my own senior pup has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand a dog’s needs at every stage of life. Because of this, I’m very comfortable with routines, gentle handling, medication reminders, and giving pets the extra attention they may need to feel safe and comfortable. I am also continuously improving my skills as a sitter—I take my dog to training classes and apply those lessons to the pets I care for. This has helped me learn about positive reinforcement, building trust, and managing different personalities and energy levels. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I provide calm, reliable, and loving care. My goal is to make every pet feel at home and every owner feel confident while they’re away. I am currently a full-time housewife, and after my child goes to school each day, I have plenty of free time to focus on caring for your dog. My schedule is very flexible on weekdays, which allows me to provide consistent attention, regular walks, and prompt communication. I’m also available for last-minute bookings and can adjust my day around your dog’s routine. Your pup will never feel rushed—I have the time and patience to give them the care, playtime, and comfort they need. I have a While I don’t have a fenced backyard, I make sure every dog stays safe and well supervised at all times. I take dogs out for regular leashed walks in my quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood, and my neighbors are very nice, making it a comfortable and safe area for daily walks. Indoors, your dog will always be kept in a secure, calm environment. I never leave pets unattended, and I follow your preferred routines for feeding, bathroom breaks, and leash handling. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities.

About: I've loved dogs (and cats) since I was a child. Which includes feeding, brushing, walking, bathing and playing with. I consider myself a pet person. I am available most of the time. I work at a remote job and have very flexible hours. I can make multiple visits per day if needed. I walk my dogs every morning and evening. We only miss when temperatures are too low and it isn't safe. If that's the case we play inside.

About: Hi! I'm Tetiana, and I love dogs! I work from home, so your dog will get constant attention. We only board small to medium-sized dogs (under 30 pounds; some rare exceptions—please ask). I live in a townhouse with a small, fenced yard and a greenway nearby. I wish I could have a dog of my own, but with frequent travel, it’s not the right time. I enjoy the chance to care for dogs through Rover and look forward to meeting your furry family member, loving them as if they were my own! I work from home so your baby will get non stop attention. So feel free to text me about time and date which you need I have a fully fenced yard so your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities — I always supervise outdoor play. My home is clean, secure, and set up for happy tails and wagging paws.

About: Animals have been an essential part of life and continue to be. I have raised dogs, cats, turtles, and various others. None have left without kisses, tail wags, and wet noses! Training puppies and administering medications have been an everyday experience with my own pup throughout her entire life. Couch snuggles and long walks have always been apart of my pet experience. The time booked goes to ten minutes of potty time (or longer upon request. You know your dogs best!) after, it can be all play time (with a water bowl check) or playtime before feeding! My dogs always were set to perform 'tricks' for their food, using it as a reward. If this is something you like to do or are doing with your pets, I'll do my best to keep up the same work, hopefully helping your training along the way. And yes, the turtle in the photos is Lord Myrtle. He is my home Security and chief Romaine Leaf inspector. Mostly working from home, willing to travel. Right now I have nothing for work other than working for myself and find myself wanting to work more with animals. I've been looking after animals since my days caring for farm animals. Now, I enjoy looking after those we call family for others when no one else can. When they are in my care, they are my family too. My home is very quiet, 4th floor apt over looking an active pool. Lots of sun in the morning and a porch garden with birds.

About: Huge animal lover here! I’m the live-in aunt of two sweet Golden Doodles (Winston and Winslow), as well as the cat mom to two Siamese (Boots and Kiwi) - all of which I’m totally obsessed with. Having taken full time care of all of them for 4 years, as well as many family and friends’ pet sitting opportunities, I’m excited to expand and offer the same attentive, loving care to your pets. Whether it’s daily walks or cozy drop-in visits, I treat every animal like my own with reliable updates and personalized attention. I work later afternoons at 3:30 so I’m available for morning and afternoon walks before 2pm! My schedule is very consistent so I’m available for recurring visits. I’ve gone to many homes to pet sit for multiple days at a time. I help keep the animals calm and feel comfortable even with separation anxieties.

I currently have a 13 year old orange cat that is my entire world. I have had him since he was born and we share such a special bond. I know some pets can have a hard adjustment to their owner being gone and I want to keep them as comfortable as possible.

About: Hi everyone! My name is Sophia and I’m a junior at UNC Chapel Hill studying nursing. I have been taking care of animals since I was 10 and currently have an aussiedoodle named Lexie! About: I have grown up around animals and throughout that time have gained skills that help with sitting and with that it allows me to be a better sitter. I have been around all ages of cats and dogs my whole life and have been sitting regularly since I was thirteen. I’m currently in school and not very busy with classes, so I’ll be readily available to fulfill any petting sitting needs that are needed. I will usually check in and/or walk in the morning or in the evening. My dog gets walked twice a day at minimum because he tends to want to get that much energy out. This usually happens at night and I would be able to walk any dogs at the same level which I do mine.

I have a Labrador Retriever and two senior, friendly domestic shorthair cats of my own. While you’re away, I care for your pets as if they were my own. I follow your instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and take time to understand each animal’s personality and needs. I like to keep a log for you on how they did and how things went for our time together. We have a nice sized home to accommodate your furry friend. Pets are allowed upstairs. We are happy to have your baby sleep on his or her bed in our room at night, or a crate if that’s what they are used to. Please supply your pet’s favorite bed or crate. Pets are allowed on the couch. We have a large, fenced back yard for those pups that like to sunbathe or sniff around during the day! I focus on calm, gentle care, plenty of affection (when welcomed), and making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m attentive to behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, and I communicate regularly so you have peace of mind. I have experience with senior dogs and cats, puppies and kittens and special needs pets through vet time experience and personal experience.
