Kelly is a Godsend! She filled in during a bit of an emergency since I was in the hospital. She couldn't even meet me at first so I worked it out to meet with a current walker. She was immediately taken with Amilyn and Amilyn was as taken with her. You can tell in I'm mo all the pics

David is the dog whisperer as far as I'm concerned! He got down on one knee so he was on her level and proceeded to pet and love on her. Amilyn accepted him right away which is rare for her. I feel completely confident that David will keep my pup safe just like he was her owner. Highly recommend you hire him to take care of your doggies as well.

Abby was the perfect match for our high-energy, frisbee-loving 70 pound German Shepherd! She came over ready to play and was very attentive to his/our family’s needs. She kept us up to date on all of Drago’s adventures with videos and plenty of pictures. Drago looked forward to his walk with Abby each day and came home tired and happy! Couldn’t ask for anything more! Abby was awesome, and we will definitely be booking with her again.

About: I’m reliable, communicative, and always keep pet parents updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can relax knowing your dog is in good hands. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I enjoy starting my mornings with walks, playtime, and feeding routines—it keeps me active and gives the pets a positive, structured start to their day. Throughout the week, I make time for check-ins, walks, or overnight stays based on what each pet needs. I am currently a year round teacher with 3 week track outs every 9 weeks. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment. I stick closely to each pet’s normal routine—feeding times, walk schedules, playtime, and any special instructions—so they feel secure and at ease.

About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 10 years, and caring for my own senior pup has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand a dog’s needs at every stage of life. Because of this, I’m very comfortable with routines, gentle handling, medication reminders, and giving pets the extra attention they may need to feel safe and comfortable. I am also continuously improving my skills as a sitter—I take my dog to training classes and apply those lessons to the pets I care for. This has helped me learn about positive reinforcement, building trust, and managing different personalities and energy levels. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I provide calm, reliable, and loving care. My goal is to make every pet feel at home and every owner feel confident while they’re away. I am currently a full-time housewife, and after my child goes to school each day, I have plenty of free time to focus on caring for your dog. My schedule is very flexible on weekdays, which allows me to provide consistent attention, regular walks, and prompt communication. I’m also available for last-minute bookings and can adjust my day around your dog’s routine. Your pup will never feel rushed—I have the time and patience to give them the care, playtime, and comfort they need. I have a While I don’t have a fenced backyard, I make sure every dog stays safe and well supervised at all times. I take dogs out for regular leashed walks in my quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood, and my neighbors are very nice, making it a comfortable and safe area for daily walks. Indoors, your dog will always be kept in a secure, calm environment. I never leave pets unattended, and I follow your preferred routines for feeding, bathroom breaks, and leash handling. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities.

About: I’ve had a lifelong love for animals and have been lucky enough to have eight dogs throughout my life. Every pet I’ve cared for has been part of the family, and that’s exactly how I’ll treat yours. My own dog, Clay, has gone through both TPLO surgery and spinal cord surgery, so I understand the patience, attention, and specialized care that recovering and special-needs pets require. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering routines, and making sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My background in law enforcement has taught me to be dependable, responsible, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. Whether your pet is a playful puppy, a senior needing extra attention, or simply loves lots of walks and cuddles, I’ll tailor my care to their individual needs and routine. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away, while giving you peace of mind through regular updates, photos, and communication. Caring for animals is already a part of my daily routine. My own pets are family, and I plan my days around making sure they’re happy, healthy, and well cared for. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning up after them, or simply spending quality time together, I genuinely enjoy it. Because I have a flexible schedule, I’m able to provide dependable care and give pets the attention they deserve rather than rushing through visits. I understand how important consistency is, and I’ll do my best to keep your pet’s routine as close to normal as possible while you’re away. When caring for pets in their own home, I do everything I can to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any other special needs or preferences. I know pets are often most comfortable in their own environment, so I make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and exercise while respecting their individual personalities and routines. I’ll also keep your home clean, tidy, and secure, treating it with the same care and respect I would my own. Communication is very important to me, so I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and in good hands.

About: Hi! I'm Tetiana, and I love dogs! I work from home, so your dog will get constant attention. We only board small to medium-sized dogs (under 30 pounds; some rare exceptions—please ask). I live in a townhouse with a small, fenced yard and a greenway nearby. I wish I could have a dog of my own, but with frequent travel, it’s not the right time. I enjoy the chance to care for dogs through Rover and look forward to meeting your furry family member, loving them as if they were my own! I work from home so your baby will get non stop attention. So feel free to text me about time and date which you need I have a fully fenced yard so your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities — I always supervise outdoor play. My home is clean, secure, and set up for happy tails and wagging paws.

About: I have grown up around animals and throughout that time have gained skills that help with sitting and with that it allows me to be a better sitter. I have been around all ages of cats and dogs my whole life and have been sitting regularly since I was thirteen. I’m currently in school and not very busy with classes, so I’ll be readily available to fulfill any petting sitting needs that are needed. I will usually check in and/or walk in the morning or in the evening. My dog gets walked twice a day at minimum because he tends to want to get that much energy out. This usually happens at night and I would be able to walk any dogs at the same level which I do mine.

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for dogs and the experience I've gained caring for them over the years. I've been dog sitting for several years and have cared for dogs for multiple friends, family members, and coworkers. Throughout college, I also fostered dogs, providing them with a safe, loving home while they waited to be adopted. In addition, I volunteered at my local animal shelter, where I worked with dogs of different ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I also completed a fitness dog walking course through the shelter, which taught me safe handling techniques and best practices for enjoyable, safe walks. After losing my childhood dog, spending time with and caring for other dogs has been incredibly meaningful and has only strengthened my passion for pet care. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I take the time to make each pet feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or needs a little extra patience and attention, I'll treat them with the same care and affection I would my own. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy staying active and spending time with animals. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care, whether that's walks, playtime, feeding, administering medications if needed, or simply providing companionship. Throughout college, I fostered dogs, giving them a safe and loving environment while they waited for their forever homes. I also volunteered at my local animal shelter and completed a fitness dog walking course, which gave me additional experience handling dogs safely and confidently during walks. I understand that every pet has their own unique personality and routine, and I'm committed to making them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while they're in my care. When caring for pets in a client's home, I make it a priority to keep them comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow all instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any special care they need. I also make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and exercise while respecting the client's home and keeping it clean and secure. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel confident and at ease while they're apart.

About: I have two doggies of my own. Both of them are senior dogs with young hearts, and they are still very active. My experience comes from being a dog owner. Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine. During the week, I work from home, which makes caring for my dogs easier. I’m able to walk them, feed them, and play with them during my breaks. My weekends are free, which gives me extra flexibility for longer walks, additional playtime, grooming, and any extra care they may need. It also allows me to spend more quality time with them and make sure they stay active, happy, and comfortable. I have two senior dogs who love going for walks and visiting the dog park. Both of them also enjoy going on car rides. They are definitely very spoiled.

What a great experience! This was our first time using Rover and I landed on Melissa based on her having a fellow basset hound and professional experience dealing with animals. We have two bassets, both female, and one of those we just rescued. Needless to say they are a handful. Melissa came over the night before to meet them and check out their dynamic. She didn’t have to do this at all and it was so appreciated. She walked them he next day, kept us updated and responded fast with ANY questions. Bottom line is Melissa is a pro and will be using her for all future basset stop and smells/walks.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
