About: Hi! My name is Phinette, I have always been a huge animal lover since I was little and have had a variety of pets throughout my life. Growing up, I had three small dogs, a rabbit for the past 7 years (recently got a second!), have had 5 pet rats, and my family also currently has 6 cats and a pitbull mix, so being around and loving animals has been part of my life since I was born! With that being said, I am more than comfortable caring for any type of animal whether they need special care or just extra love and attention, I would be happy to help! I have lots of experience not only caring for my own pets, but other peoples as well, so I know how important it is to pay attention to the small details in an animals day-to-day to help make them feel as comfortable as possible while their family is away. I am currently a Physical Therapist Assistant student and attend school Monday through Thursday, typically from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Because of my school schedule, I am most available for pet care in the early mornings and evenings during the week, as well as anytime on the weekends. I would love to incorporate pet care into my schedule! Overnight stays work best for me on the days I have school, but I am also available for drop-in visits and dog walking in the afternoons/evenings or anytime on the weekends. I am more than happy to work with you to find a schedule that works best for you and your pet and to make sure they are well taken care of and receive all the attention they need! As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it can be to leave your pet in someone else's care. I also know how important schedules and routines can be in keeping your pet feeling safe and comfortable while you are gone. I will make sure to follow your instructions as closely as possible and care for your pet the way you would yourself. I'm also more than happy to accommodate any additional needs or little quirks your pet may have to help them feel as safe and comfortable as possible while you are away!
“Erin was amazing and took great care of my puppy! I received daily updates and pictures for all the days she took care of my puppy. I’d definitely contact her again in the future!”

“I have booked Annalise a couple times now and my dog adores her! She is so kind and goes above and beyond. She’s helped out even when I needed last minute. Definitely recommend!”

“Lauren was wonderful. She did everything we asked and took good care of our cat while we were away. She even brought a package inside that was left on our porch so it wouldn't look like we were away. Would definitely engage her again.”

“Nikki is amazing! She gave our dog such care, love, and attention! We had such confidence that he was being well cared for. Nikki was always on time, and gave us wonderful pictures of our little boy. We will be using Nikki again whenever we need to! 5 stars+”

About: Friendly, Reliable Pet Sitter I’ve loved animals my whole life and have always had dogs and cats as part of my family. I’ve also lived with roommates’ dogs and cats, so I’m comfortable caring for pets with all kinds of personalities and routines. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals—whether that means going for walks, playing in the yard, giving plenty of attention and cuddles, or simply keeping them company while you’re away. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I’m also comfortable helping with oral medications when needed. Beyond pet care, I’m happy to help with small things around your home while you’re away, such as watering plants or gardens and taking out the trash. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pets—and your home—are in good hands! 🐾
“Vanessa is amazing!!!!! We were gone for 2 weeks my 1 dog got sick, she got him to the vet and took amazing care of him! Vanessa goes above and beyond and truly treats your pets like her own. We will certainly use her again!!!”

About: I've had dogs for over 15 years and a cat for almost 10 years and love taking care of them. I currently have 1 older cat living with me and he is very kept to himself. He's a sweet little guy who isn't bothered by other animals as long as they don't bother him! My availability is any time between classes which are scattered throughout my week. This is a small part time job I've taken for fun while going through my medical school journey so I spend most of my time studying. However, I will happily take your pet to a nice study spot! I'd also love to spend my study breaks on walks or runs with your furry baby! I am very flexible with timing and cancellations. Though I don't have professional experience, I have been around animals all my life. I'm very good at following directions and love learning new things. If the dog has special necessities, I am willing to accommodate. Pet care fits naturally into my routine as a student. I often take dogs with me to quiet, dog‑friendly study spots, and I use my study breaks for walks, playtime, or runs. Because my class schedule is scattered, I’m very flexible throughout the week and can adjust care times as needed. Spending time with pets is a fun and refreshing part of my day. I care for pets by sticking closely to their regular routine and following all instructions for feeding, walks, meds, and special needs. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and comfort through walks, playtime, or relaxed hang‑out time. In my home, I have one older cat who mostly keeps to himself and does well around other animals as long as they don’t bother him. If needed, he can be comfortably kept separate in a bedroom he’s used to. I always aim to keep things calm, clean, and stress‑free for both pets and owners.

About: I have had 2 dogs of my own and have helped care for friends and family over the years. Dogs are family and only deserve the best care. I hope to provide the same level of care for your dog as well! I’m currently a student who completes school online so I’m available to play and care for your pups at most hour of the day! I need to be on zoom for 4 hours of the day and with a lunch break in between so I can offer care easily after those times. I have a large yard where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time, and I have a medium-sized dog who absolutely loves making new four-legged friends. I’m also happy to take dogs on nice, long walks so they can get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I’ll take the time to learn what makes your pup feel happy and secure. Your dog’s safety and well-being will always be my top priority. I’ll treat your dog with the same care and patience I’d want someone to give my own. Whether your dog needs a relaxing stroll, a good energy burning walk, or simply some friendly companionship, I’d love the opportunity to help keep them happy, healthy, and cared for!
“Sydney was amazing! You can tell she really cares about animals, especially cats. I loved all of the consistent pictures and updates while we were gone for vacation. She went above and beyond. Would definitely book her again!”

“Gigi was so wonderful! She was exceedingly understanding and patient with multiple meds and a highly skittish dog. She understands dog behavior and worked to gain their trust and come up with creative solutions to meet the pups' needs! Will definitely book her again!!”

About: Hi! I grew up with German Shorthaired Pointers, so dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and my heart. I know that our pups aren’t just pets, they’re family, and I treat every dog I care for with that same love and respect. Whether your dog loves a good game of fetch, long walks, car rides for a treat, or just curling up for a cuddle session, I’m here to make sure they feel happy, safe, and totally loved while you’re away. Big or small, high energy or laid-back, your dog is in great hands with me! I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule so that makes drop-ins, walks, and stays much easier for me. I do not mind same day scheduling or cancellation I prefer to go to the clients home, as I have two kittens that have not met any dogs and no fenced in yard for safety.
“Allison is amazing!!!!! I was looking for a sitter 2 days before we left for a last minute trip, and she responded within minutes of me asking if she was available. She is so kind and respectful, she also has knowledge on Cat behavior that made Monty comfortable with her. Monty was so good with her and she was amazing with him. I will definitely be booking with her in the future as we travel a lot! Thank you Alison!!!!!!”

She was wonderful with Moonie and Cobain! Great communication throughout the stay. She let me know right away when Cobain wasn't feeling well and kept a close eye on him after. I felt completely at ease having her watch them. Would book again without hesitation!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Lillington with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
