“Lisa went above and beyond when carrying for our pup! She kept us in the loop when he was having stomach issues and was patient with him as he adjusted to a new environment.”

“We left our 3 yr old Bulldog with Kaitlin, Jeff & Kids for a week and had an amazing experience. Our pup absolutely loved being at their house. She was treated like she was their own dog!! She loved playing with all the kids and their pups. Communication from Kaitlin & Jeff was fabulous! We will absolutely be using them again and highly recommend them to anyone.”

“Absolutely wonderful experience with Kordula and her family! She was very flexible with our changing travel plans due to weather and sent daily photos and updates. Thank you!”

“We had an initial meet n greet the week before and they seemed to click with the house! They were kind of chill when I picked them up which was unusual but really cool. I was sent pics of them lounging on the couch, so cute. Thanks to Kristen, Paula, Bentley the moyan and to the cute teeny bopper (sorry I forgot your name hon but I'm old now so please forgive.) I feel like my pups had their best first experience with some lovely pet sitters. Best regards, Diane”

“Very thankful to have Samira take care of our puppy during the Thanksgiving holiday! He has a lot of energy and is only 6 months old. Very friendly family and would definitely have them keep Rip again. Highly recommend!”
“Samantha was really good with our babies and kept us updated, during our busy wedding week and gave us peace of mind during all the chaos. Our babies looked happy and well cared for at pick up , will book again.”

“Kelley was a great babysitter for Darcy. She kept us updated with photos throughout the weekend! Darcy who is a year and a half had the best time with her boys. I would definitely recommend Kelley to anyone looking for a sitter and I will be using her again!”

About: When I was 3 we had cats in the house and a dog. As I got older we had more cats and dogs. I have always been around them. I currently have 2 labs & a beagle. I have experience with elderly dog care, puppy, administering medication & monitoring input and output. I do know how to clip dog nails & clean their ears as well as bathe them. I am a full time mom and I stay home with our 3 children. My children love to be outside so we spend a lot of time outside playing with our dogs. We have a fenced backyard - about .4 acres fenced in. We live in a development and go on walks with our dogs. We have built in dog crates in our entertainment center where dogs could sleep if needed. We also have a dog fence we could make a play area for.
“It’s been a couple years since we’ve had to board our high-anxiety dog, so we’re careful about where he goes. He went to Maria for almost a week and he did so well with her! She sent pictures and videos multiple times a day :) And he seemed genuinely happy in all of them! We will definitely send our dog to her again and recommend her to anyone who asks!”

“She was an amazing dog sitter. She kept Sheba for 3 days and kept us informed the entire time. She let us know right away if anything was off and truly cared about Sheba’s wellbeing. She was also very kind and professional when we met. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her.”

“This is our second time having Ercilia watch our dog, and she did a great job once again! We received many pictures during our trip, and it was clear our dog was comfortable in her home!”

“Alison was awesome with our high energy Australian Shepherd puppy. We needed to go out of town last minute where she was able to watch our Josie. We loved the updates and pictures. I would definitely use Alison again.”
“Barley had a great time at Emily’s! He was treated like a little king- never left alone as requested, slept in bed with Emily’s daughter, and got to run around with her dogs and other animals. Will be booking again when I need a sitter!”

“Stephanie took such great care of our dog! We took a trip during Christmas week and had hoped that we would find a family that would love Leia like their own dog. They went above and beyond and sent us the sweetest pictures and videos all throughout the week. Highly recommend Stephanie and her sweet family ❤️”

“Joanne was such a lucky find for us! We feel so grateful to have found such a caring, kind and unbelievably calm person to leave our pups with on some long vacations we had planned. We were nervous about finding a way to help them feel comfortable with us gone for so long and Joanne's place with room for them to run was exactly what they needed! They've been more calm and well mannered since we've returned from our trip and I can't thank Joanne enough for all she did for our sweet pups! She sent pictures and a update everyday and it was so wonderful to see how much fun they were having a doggie summer camp! We will use her over and over again!”

“Ashley and the entire family took such great care of our fur baby. We had absolutely no worries. We received pictures and updates every day. I looked forward to receiving the latest update on our little princess at least two times a day. We are so glad we found such a loving family that truly cares for your pet as if they are theirs. We will definitely book with them again! Thanks again to the entire family from all of us💕!!”

We had a very good experience with Emily! She was accommodating with our changing schedule, and kept us updated with pictures throughout the stay. She even filled out some gaps in her fence so my small dog couldn’t slip through, which gave me peace of mind! Definitely recommended.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
