From the beginning Diana and Jesse were very responsive and kind. We did a short meet and greet and I felt content leaving Leilani behind on this trip. Throughout the trip I received photos and updates about how things were going. We just got home, settled in, I’ve been unpacking and Leilani has been asleep the whole time. About: Hey there! We are Jesse and Diana and we live in the heart of Cary with our teenage daughter, 9 year old black lab mix Delta, 5 year old whippet Skadi, and 4 year old chihuahua Pepita. We also have two cats, Steve and Max who are 12 and 8 and are great with all dogs. Sometimes I think Max is more of a dog than a cat! Our dogs are good girls (spayed) and absolutely love to play! We have about a half acre fenced back yard that they can run freely in to get out all their zoomies. Both of our dogs are fully vaccinated and on flea & tick medication. We have had dogs all our lives and they have always been an important part of our family. We have experience with training certified therapy dogs as well. Our golden retriever, Molly was actively involved in working with Alzheimer's and dementia patients as a certified therapy dog. She passed away last year at 14 years old. She was a good girl. We understand all dogs have different needs and we will be extremely accommodating. Additionally, we work from home so your dog would never have to be alone. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions! We work from home, which gives us the time to be here for your pup! We also try to be very flexible with pickup and dropoff times to make it as convenient as possible. We have a completely fenced backyard (approx. 1/2 acre), which gives the dogs the space to run, play, and to just burn energy in a safe environment! They are never alone and always supervised when playing in the backyard.

About: I’ve been surrounded by and taken care of various types of animals since i was very young. I spent over 100 hours volunteering at a senior center where i was often needed to help care for their pets. Family and friends frequently rely on me to walk, feed, pet-sit and even bathe their pets. About: I grew up in a house that had at least 3 dogs (both large and small) and a couple of cats at all times! My mom bought each of my siblings and I a dog to take care of when we all reached middle school age. For me, it was a minature dachshund named "Spike" who became my best friend! All of that being said, I have a lot of experience with the everyday care of both cats and dogs. I have lots of experience pet sitting for friends and family, and I worked in kennel for one summer in college. While working in the kennel I got a lot of hands on experience with different breeds and temperaments of both large and small dogs. And I am not shy about cleaning up after pets either! My own senior cat needed oral medication weekly since age 3 for a special condition. I've also cared for medicating a spicy elderly cat with hiv that needed two daily medications, including pills, before their passing (6 months) RIP. I believe challenged pets deserve equal opportunity to be cared for and loved! I cannot bathe cats that are fiesty when it comes to water. I also cannot trim any nails as I am not a professional groomer and accidents can cause infection. Safety is my number one priority! AVAILABILITY I have a very flexible schedule as a freelance, work from home graphic designer. I can be available most any day from 5am-10pm, when given at least a day's notice, for sitting, drop ins, and walks. I do my best to keep my schedule flexible and am available 7am–10pm, seven days a week. Whether your pet needs a morning visit, a midday check-in, dinner and evening care, or simply some company and affection while you’re gone, I’m happy to help. Feel free to reach out with your preferred times, and I’ll always do my best to accommodate your schedule and your pet’s routine. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep everything feeling calm, familiar, and low-stress. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, litter box or potty routines, and any notes you leave regarding behavior, preferences, or special care. I know how important routine can be—especially for cats—and I try to keep things as consistent as possible while you’re away. I’m very attentive to details such as securely locking doors, checking gates, keeping food and water areas clean, and making sure pets are safe and comfortable before I leave. I also pay close attention to each animal’s personality and body language, whether they’re playful and social or shy and need a slower, gentler approach. I always want pets to feel safe with me and cared for in a way that feels natural and respectful to them. I’m happy to provide updates and photos during visits so you can feel reassured while you’re away.

“Tori and her family took such great care of our small older dog who has some health issues including med administration needs and occasional pain due to previous cancer. Everything from getting holly to their home (Tori last minute offered to pick Holly Up and this was a godsend because our trip was last minute and we were trying to coordinate many other things) to start her visit to pick up and updates in between were great. Her sons are very gentle and natural animal lovers so that was not any concern even though our dog generally prefers calm environments. I would highly recommend Tori and her family for caring for your pet!”

From the beginning Diana and Jesse were very responsive and kind. We did a short meet and greet and I felt content leaving Leilani behind on this trip.
