My own senior cat needed oral medication weekly since age 3 for a special condition. I've also cared for medicating a spicy elderly cat with hiv that needed two daily medications, including pills, before their passing (6 months) RIP. So for pets that have special needs I'm very familiar with these procedures and am comfortable with them if necessary as long as we go over them in person first! I believe challenged pets deserve equal opportunity to be cared for and loved! I cannot bathe cats that are fiesty when it comes to water. I also cannot trim any nails as I am not a professional groomer and accidents can cause infection. Safety is my number one priority! AVAILABILITY I have a very flexible schedule as a freelance, work from home graphic designer. I can be available most any day from 5am-10pm, when given at least a day's notice, for sitting, drop ins, and walks. “Awesome stay! I had been invited to a wedding out of town and needed someone to watch my dog. I’d never left her with anyone and she’s 3, so who I’d trust is very slim. From the beginning Diana and Jesse were very responsive and kind. We did a short meet and greet and I felt content leaving Leilani behind on this trip. Throughout the trip I received photos and updates about how things were going. We just got home, settled in, I’ve been unpacking and Leilani has been asleep the whole time. She loved her stay and is completely worn out ☺️ I’d definitely recommend Diana and Jesse to anyone! They keep your dogs routine, treat them as you would and make leaving your dog behind way easier!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for them! I currently have two dogs of my own that I’ve cared for for the past four years. I’ve also fostered dogs from local shelters, which has given me experience with dogs of different personalities, backgrounds, and needs. I genuinely love animals and will treat your pets like they’re my own, making sure they get plenty of attention, care, and love while you’re away! I have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to care for your pets! I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine to make things as comfortable as possible! Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority! I’ll follow any instructions you provide and make sure your pet gets the care, attention, exercise, and love they’re used to. I understand every dog is different, and I’m happy to adjust to their individual routine, personality, and needs!

“Zelda had a WONDERFUL stay with Cara over the past several days! I received frequent updates and photos, and loved knowing that Zelda was going on daily walks. I could tell that my pup was happy, safe, and having a FUN time playing with Cara's sweet dog Daisy. (Daisy looks a little fierce, because she is a pittie mix, but she's just a sweetie who loves to play.) An unexpected perk was that Cara's two grown sons LOVE dogs and were extra playmates on occasion. The fenced-in yard is a doggy paradise, and the home is thoughtfully organized to keep my dog safe and happy. I will definitely be a repeat client. About: Growing up, my family had a cat and dog. I loved every moment, from their energetic nights as crazy kids to the senior care I provided in their later years. I’ve been able to cat and dog sit a handful of times since no longer having our pets around, and it always makes my day. I would love to take your pup on an adventure or play with your cat. Please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you! I’m currently working full-time and should be available in the afternoons starting around 5pm. I am available most weekends, but please let me know as early as possible when you’ll need assistance. I live in an apartment and we have a fenced communal dog park, a dog washing station and plenty of space in our apartment. We also have a great neighborhood for walks.
