“Tori and her family took such great care of our small older dog who has some health issues including med administration needs and occasional pain due to previous cancer. Everything from getting holly to their home (Tori last minute offered to pick Holly Up and this was a godsend because our trip was last minute and we were trying to coordinate many other things) to start her visit to pick up and updates in between were great. Her sons are very gentle and natural animal lovers so that was not any concern even though our dog generally prefers calm environments. I would highly recommend Tori and her family for caring for your pet!”

“Keon was a great sitter! He took care of my dog very nicely! My dog had so much fun playing with the other dogs as well! I could see that my dog was having so much fun and that he was having a great time! ❤️ I am so satisfied, and I will certainly send my dog to board with him again! 😊”

“Sarah was great! She welcomed our little guy over Christmas and took great care of him. This was our first time using Rover and we appreciated all the pictures and updates. We'll happily book with her again.”

About: I've been a dog lover my whole life. I grew up with dogs and currently share my home with one of my own. Over the years I've cared for friends' and family's dogs while they've traveled, and I've also volunteered as a foster parent for dogs waiting to find their forever homes. That experience taught me how to help dogs feel safe and comfortable in a new environment, whether they're anxious, playful, or somewhere in between. I treat every dog like part of the family, with patience, exercise, and lots of love. I may be new to Rover, but I'm not new to dogs! I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and can be around throughout the day for feeding, walks, and playtime. I'm available for drop-ins, walks, and boarding on weekdays and weekends, including evenings if needed. Your dog will be part of the household while in my care. I have one friendly dog of my own who's well socialized and enjoys company, and my two daughters love dogs and are experienced around them, so your pup will get plenty of attention and affection. I keep a close eye on pets at all times and can crate your dog if that's part of their routine.

“Hope was absolutely wonderful with Ellie and we would recommend her to anyone looking to board their pets! She sent us plenty of updates including some great photos of our dog, and did a great job keeping our dog active, socialized, and giving her lots of love while in her care. Her house is right next to a bunch of well shaded walking trails which are perfect for trips out, especially in the warmer summer months. We will absolutely use Hope in the future and recommend that you do the same!”

She sent us pictures throughout their stay and communicated so well with us. We really enjoyed and appreciated her throughout both experiences! With Qian we know our puppies are in great hands and we will definitely be rebooking with her in the future.”

About: I’ve been caring for my own cats for the past five years, and they’ve taught me just how unique and wonderful every cat can be. Before that, I lived with roommates who had six cats, which gave me hands-on experience with feeding, litter box care, playtime, and understanding different personalities and behaviors. I love cats of all kinds—from the grumpiest senior to the hungriest foodie to the shy cat who just needs a little patience. I understand that every cat has their own comfort level, and I’ll always respect their boundaries while making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. Whether your cat loves to play with toys, enjoys a little catnip, or simply wants a quiet companion, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and the care they deserve.
“Allison was amazing with my boys. She sent very thorough summaries of what they did during her visit. She also went out of her way in her care, cleaning more often than I asked. Overall she was wonderful and I will definitely be requesting her help again in the future.”

“Anne took great care of Pooh while we were gone. She sent detailed updates and pictures of their walks. We came home to a happy dog. I appreciate her reliability and her willingness to take on a last minute sitting request. We had a great experience with Anne.”

About: I have 4 cats including 2 former strays and 1 foster failure. I would be happy to check on your kitties while you're away from home and clean their litter box, give them some pets/play time and feed them. I have experience with cat care from my own meow-monsters and am happy to give wet food, treats or shine a laser pointer around the room for them to chase!

“Amber is a fantastic sitter. She is friendly, very responsible, responsive and communicative. I felt my cats were well cared for and really it eased my worries during my trip. I will hire her again!”

“This is my 2nd time working with Ryana and I am so pleased with the care she continues to provide for my cat Cleo! I can truly rest easy while I am away knowing that she is in such good care. I especially appreciate the photos and updates that Ryana provides while I am away. I highly recommend her!”

About: Since I was little, I've been caring for animals ranging from dogs and cats to fish and guinea pigs. I find so much joy in doing so that I studied both animal and wildlife sciences so I can make animal care my life. Whether in a clinical or personal setting, my clients are always pleased with the services that I provide their animals with. I'm currently a college graduate living back home as I take time before pursuing a Master's program. Because I work full-time as a veterinary assistant, my calendar is only accurate between 2-4 weeks out. However, I promise to do my best to be available to care for your pet! While I limit my pet care to my clients' homes, I do still take measures to ensure the animals' safety and wellbeing. The house doors will remain locked, I'm open to crating an animal if I'm not present, and they will be leashed at all times on walks as it is the law. Additionally I'm acquainted with plenty of veterinarians should your pet require any emergency medical attention.
“Rebecca took wonderful care of my 2 cats while I was away! From the updates and photos she sent every day, I could tell my cats were happy to see her. The shy one even came out a few times! I’m so relieved to have found a fantastic cat sitter for the next time I have to go away. Thank you, Rebecca!!”

“Hattie is an absolute ray of sunshine & did so well watching my 2 cats for me many times now. I trust her without a doubt and always call her first when I need a pet sitter! She is so sweet to my kitties, giving them plenty of love and always sending me pictures for reassurance. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

About: With a lifelong passion for dogs, I currently have four of my own and bring years of hands-on experience caring for special and medical needs pups. As a former dedicated foster, I’m confident handling a variety of personalities and care routines, while happily welcoming all dogs. Dogs enjoy plenty of activity (or not!) with access to a large, fenced yard and walks in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood. My dogs are relaxed, friendly, and adjust well to new companions. I’m best suited for dogs who are housebroken and have good home manners. No matter if you’re looking for daycare, overnight boarding, social time, or longer-term care, this is a warm and reliable spot for your pup. ***I do require a meet and greet at my house prior to a stay. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, allowing me to be home throughout the day. I’m always home in the evenings and maintain a structured routine for feeding and medication needs. Daily walks are part of our routine with one of my dogs and are available for visiting pups as well, weather permitting. We almost always have soothing music on to keep a very chill vibe! A safe, comfortable stay with plenty of space to relax and explore. My home features a large, fully fenced backyard and a screened-in porch perfect for lounging and watching neighborhood activity (and local wildlife!). I prioritize safety by crating or gating dogs when I’m away briefly, and I’m rarely gone for more than a couple of hours. While I’m home, pets enjoy free roam and can settle in wherever they’re most comfortable—including bedtime. My own dogs are very relaxed but social and engaged. We’re a great fit for dogs who enjoy low to moderate activity and interaction but are also able to settle down and relax or play on their own. For everyone’s comfort and safety, visiting pups should be friendly, well-behaved, and non-aggressive.
“Vincent was very accommodating and responded quickly to my last minute request. He came out to greet us and the pups were comfortable with him immediately. He was very friendly and made sure everyone was harnessed and leashed for the short trip from the car to the fence. He has a nice fenced area for them to play and sent cute videos and photos. The pups appeared to have a great time and especially enjoyed their playtime with his two dachshunds! I will definitely use him again for daycare and drop-in visits.”

“Brad communicated quickly and clearly before the sitting date. They asked good questions about her schedule at drop off and Maisli was as content as could be when I picked her up. Pictures were also provided which show she had a great time cuddling with members of the family. Would certainly feel safe leaving her with Brad and his family any time.”

About: All four of us are animal people. We’ve had our own dog for six years, and cats our whole lives. I also have experience working in a veterinarian’s office, and my husband and I both have lots of dog-sitting-for-friends experience. Currently, we are two teachers looking to supplement our income and help out others. We are caring, responsible people who won’t leave you hanging. We’ve boarded our own dog through Rover in the past and know you might want frequent check-ins or photos. We’re here for you! During the summer, we’re home! Your pet will have lots of yard time and walks if you prefer. We have two older kids (11 and 14) who will NEVER be responsible for your pet, but will supplement their care, socialization, and playtime. We also have a corgi who loves to play, but we can keep her separate from your pup if desired. There are four people here who love animals! We will care for your pet like they were our own. Pets are allowed on the furniture and beds in our home, but we will follow your rules if that’s a no-no for you. We want to make sure your pup feels at home and comfortable, and that you feel comfortable with your pet in our care!

About: I have raised both of my dogs! I also had a rescue before them and found a puppy and cared for it in 2019. I think for me even finding pet care for my own babies, I struggle to actually find people I can fully trust that they fervently would prevent anything from happening to them and care is easy and enjoyable for them. I currently am building my own other business from home so I have lots of availability! I travel for the business around the city so I dont mind driving at all. I of course do have to juggle my own pups, and schedule in general but I am a very SHOW UP type person! 🙌🏽❤️ I have a small fenced in yard where I pick up the waste 2x a day. I am pretty OCD, and live clean, but you know how it is with dogs. My dogs play all day together and I already walk them 1 long walk a day and lots of playtime outside and inside. My pups would either have to come with me, or you come to us. Millo my patchy white one is a bumblebee! He gets along with all dogs, he is fixed. Graceyn will soon be fixed, I would never have dogs here if she was in heat, but because she’s Border Collie/Aussie sometimes she’s my challenge child. We go to the dog park multiple times a week and she does great, so only will retaliate if shes given a reason to, but she’s an absolute lovey girl. I am very capable of walking multiple dogs. Graceyn gets so excited on the leash she is a little bit reactive, but I can walk Millo and a guest dog for example.
“Anitra was so supportive in taking my pup for an early drop off, it was great to see Sydney at the dog park right next to her home while I was studying for a big exam. Highly recommend her!”

“Dakota went above and beyond in caring for my baby boy. She was attentive to all of his needs and handled every situation with patience, professionalism, and grace. She struck the perfect balance between being loving and caring while also providing the structure and firmness needed to keep him on track. I especially appreciated that she came to my home for dog-walking services, which made the experience even more convenient. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my dog’s well-being and treated him as if he were her own. I highly recommend Dakota for any of your dog-care needs. She is reliable and compassionate.”

About: Being extremely attached to my own dog and cats, I understand how hard it is to be away from them! You can rest easy, I will care for your animals as if they were my own. Big and small, cat and dog, I love them all! Please note: I only accept dogs in my home for boarding that have been around cats and are known to be cat-friendly. I work a flexible schedule, and come check on your pets morning, evening and possibly also mid-day. Let me know what you need and I will make it work. I can either come to your house to let your pet stay in his/her own environment or if they come to my house to stay, they will join my menagerie for their visit. I have kitties, so they must be cat-friendly. At my house, the day starts with a potty break in my fenced yard, followed by a 20-minute walk either in the morning or at lunch time. There is a second walk of a at least 20-minutes after work around 7 and potty breaks, pets and treats on my work breaks. There are pet beds all over the house, kitties to play with and my dog Sadie (a mix, around 50lbs). My pets range at night but guest pets have to be crated at bedtime. I can put the crate in my bedroom if it will make your pet more comfortable.
“OMG I absolutely LOVED Allison so much!! She was so professional and sweet! She checked in with me about everything my fur baby needed prior to her visits with him to make sure she had all the information necessary. She also provided me with a report card after every walk including lots of pictures of my boy having the time of his life! He looked so happy when she walked him. I will 100% be using her again! We love Allison!! 🥰❤️”

“Bianca was a perfect help and super communicative asking any clarifying questions to make sure my pup got the best care possible! HIGHLY recommend and will absolutely work with again :)”

About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’ve grown up around animals and truly believe they are family, not just pets. I treat every animal with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I’ve cared for pets with all kinds of personalities and at different stages of life, including my senior dog Jacob (11). Having an older dog has taught me to be patient, notice the little things, and make sure pets are comfortable and cared for as they get older. I’ve also worked with my dog Atlas, who has had some behavioral challenges. Helping him over the years has taught me that every animal is different and that trust, consistency, and patience go a long way. I enjoy taking the time to understand each pet and what helps them feel safe and happy. Since I have a multi-pet household with dogs, cats, and birds, I’m comfortable with different routines and different types of care. I know every pet has their own personality, habits, and needs. The biggest thing that sets me apart is that I truly care about the animals I look after. I don’t just show up to feed them—I want to build a connection with them, make them feel comfortable, and give them the same care and love I would want someone to give my own pets. Pet care is a part of my everyday routine. Every day, I feed my three dogs, two cats, and two parakeets, make sure they always have fresh water, and spend time playing with and caring for them. My dogs get regular walks and outdoor time, and I love taking them on hikes whenever I can. My cats get plenty of attention, playtime, and enrichment, and I make sure their litter boxes stay clean. I also care for my parakeets by cleaning their cage, refreshing their food and water, and giving them time to interact and explore. Because caring for animals is already part of my daily life, adding your pet to my routine feels. I’ll make sure they receive the same love, attention, and care that I give my own pets. I care for every pet like they are my own because I truly believe pets are family. Every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I love taking the time to understand what makes each one feel safe and happy. At home, I care for my three dogs, Jacob (11), Luna (7), and Atlas (8), my two cats, Stinky (5) and Kiwi (6), and my two parakeets, Suki and Dewy. My dogs get lots of attention, exercise, playtime, and outdoor adventures like walks and hikes. Luna has had some behavioral challenges, which has taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and understanding that every animal learns and grows at their own pace. Seeing how much she has improved over the years has shown me how important love and patience are when caring for pets. My cats, Stinky and Kiwi, have completely different personalities, and that’s one of the things I love most about cats. I enjoy playing with them, keeping them entertained, cleaning litter boxes, and making sure they have a comfortable and happy environment. I also have experience caring for my parakeets, Suki and Dewy. I’m comfortable with feeding them, cleaning their cage, changing their water, and making sure they get attention and enrichment. While I haven’t owned larger birds, I’m always willing to learn and make sure I understand each pet’s needs. When caring for your pets in your home, I’ll respect their routine and follow your instructions closely. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away, and to give them the same care and attention I give my own pets because I know how much they mean to your family.

“Justice came for a meet and greet ahead of time which eased a lot of anxiety…He arrived on time each morning, walked my dogs, sent pictures and a report each morning immediately at completion of my dogs walk…They felt comfortable immediately with Justice…His very calm demeanor and love of animals showed thru in all that he did thru the week… I feel very comfortable giving him the highest recommendation and would glad utilize his services again in the future…”

“Cynthia is a true gem! I mistakenly drove three hours out of town with my dogs harness and leash in my car! I reached out to Cynthia and she was so kind and was able to locate a leash very last minute for my girl. I cannot thank you enough! You are amazing!”

“Ryana is great and my dog loves seeing her! Addie was sick while I was at work and Ryana went above and beyond to check on Addie and ensure she was feeling better. Addie is always excited to see her and I will definitely continue to book with her.”

“Jeannie is amazing! Our puppy isn’t used to being alone all day so we were worried that she wouldn’t adjust well to our new work schedule - it’s clear that having Jeannie stop by has eased the transition for our dog & now she looks forward to it! Our dog is so much more calm when we get home. Jeannie is super reliable and communicative. We feel lucky to have her as our Rover :)”

“Emily and William took great care of Mia. She had regular walks, playtime and photos shared. When our trip got delayed , they gladly extended her stay. We would definitely have them take care of Mia during our future trips”

“Yara and Angel were great watching my babies! They sent daily updates and pictures and my boys thoroughly enjoyed playing with their daughter!! Will definitely contact them for future dog sitting!”

“Krystene responded quickly to my request and was very pleasant. She sent me pictures of my cat baby and updated me on how he was doing. I was very thankful Krystene was available to care for my cat during a family emergency. I would definitely use Krystene again!”

“Ruby had a great time at Vanessa’s! She was very well taken care of and had lots of new adventures. Vanessa made sure to send me regular updates with pictures, which I really appreciated.”

“Kristin took wonderful care of our dog for a week while we were away. Our dog was safe, well cared for, and perhaps most importantly, loved as if we were with her. Kristin treated our dog as one of her own. Thank you Kristin!”

“Greg & Julia were fantastic with Leela! They sent me a lot of pictures sharing all the things she was doing, They have a lot of experience, which helped me a lot to low down my anxiety. So happy I’ve found them!”

“Sydney is AMAZING! Super accommodating, kind, and I genuinely felt like my babies were in good hands. Communication was amazing and she was very patient with me! Highly recommend!”

“Katie was great watching our foster dog for us. She was super accommodating to changes that we needed during his stay and sent lots of updates and pictures. I was nervous about sending him with someone new due to his history, but he was very happy and seemed to have fun! I would use Katie again if we need, and definitely recommend her.”
“Paul was so wonderfully communicative, going above and beyond to let us know what Finn was up to and sending us videos or photos to let us see how he was doing. All in all a wonderful experience, we could tell Finn really felt comfortable and well taken care of during his stay.”

“Our dogs LOVE staying with Jill! She and her husband Bill really do treat them like family and I can tell they truly care about our fur babies like they were their own! Jill sends regular updates and lots of cute pictures and videos so we can see what they have been up to each day. They go on lots of walks and trips to the dog park. They have even taken our dogs with them when they went into town. At her home they have toys to play with and they get plenty of love and cuddles! Our doggies always look really happy when they are with Jill and they are in great spirits when we pick them up! We like to travel and it gives us so much peace of mind knowing that our dogs are being well cared for and loved while we are away. We can actually relax and enjoy our trips because we know our dogs are in the best hands! Jill responds quickly when we message her and is always reliable. She is hands down the best dog sitter we have ever had and we wouldn’t want to leave our babies with anyone else!”

“Heather is truly a one-of-a-kind dog sitter. She cared for my dog Rulo with such genuine love and attention that I felt completely at ease while I was away. Not only did she keep me updated and make sure all his needs were met, but she went above and beyond—she even baked him a dog-friendly cake for his birthday! It’s clear that Heather treats the dogs she watches as if they were her own. Rulo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly adored his time with her. I couldn’t recommend Heather more highly to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and thoughtful sitter. She’s the best!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Nilesh caring for Toby for 8 days. Toby absolutely loved playing with Casper and clearly felt right at home. Nilesh took Toby on daily walks, sent regular pictures and updates, and kept us informed throughout our trip. We always felt confident that Toby was safe, happy, and well cared for. We highly recommend Nilesh and will definitely use his services again!”
