I live in a quiet and safe home. I own my own house and have a large back yard and easy access to many walking trails. My cat is a senior with a heart condition and he can't tolerate moderate to very active dogs in the house. Therefore, when I board your dog I need to make sure your pet is a good fit. I do prefer senior dogs and dogs with low energy levels.

I enjoy taking care of senior animals and have no difficulty administering medications. I only take care of one client at a time and never walk multiple dogs together. It is important for me to know as much as possible about the animals preferences as well as anxiety producing events.

There are many dogs and cats in my neighbourhood which means lots of different smells to explore. I have several walking trails, public parks and a dog park close to my home where I can take your dog for walks and exercise.

Hi, my name is Uli. I am a retired registered nurse. After 30 plus years of working for UNC, I can now follow my passion and retirement dream of taking care of animals. I am available throughout the day including weekends and holidays and love to see clients in the Pittsboro/Chapel Hill or surrounding areas. I have taken care of many pets for friends and neighbors including my own. Animals are just like humans. They want to be taken care of, loved, and treated with respect and dignity. I will make sure their needs are met in every way; trying to follow their established schedule/routine whenever possible. I am very dependable and caring. My medical knowledge is a great asset should the need for animal first aid arise. I love all creatures but I especially love taking care of cats and dogs. I myself have a cat with medical needs and have lots of experience administering medications including fluid boluses to cats and subcutaneous injections. Especially senior animals have a special place in my heart. I would love to take care of your fur baby and will give your loved one the same care and attention that I would give my own pets. I know from experience how difficult it is to leave a pet behind for business trips or vacations and trust others with the care of your animals. Be assured that I will take excellent care of them providing them with lots of hugs and kisses. I am happy to provide references upon request.

Uli was great! She took the time to get to know our two cats and won them both over - even our grumpier senior cat. She took great care of them while we were out of town - going so far as to mash up our senior’s special meals and tracking his box habits (he has urinary issues) to playing with our high-energy kitten during each visit. Highly recommend contacting Uli if you need a kind, caring, and compassionate sitter. This was our first time hiring a sitter and we will definitely be contacting Uli for any future trips!
