About: Hello! I have owned and cared for dogs for over 10 years. I specialize in small dog breeds of all ages. I have two small dogs of my own, and one has that classic small dog sass! My goal is for your pet to forgot that mom/dad is not around, and have fun/release their energy while maintaining their normal schedule. I have cared for multiple dogs ranging in weight from 5-40lbs for personal clients. I always treat every pet that I work with like they are my own children, because let’s face it, they are! I recently left my corporate position and I am excited to do something I am truly passionate about - working with dogs! I am available 7 days per week, morning - evening I am very responsive, dependable, timely, and treat each dog like they are my own. I am respectful and will follow any specific instructions in your home!

“Lindsay was exactly what I needed for my last minute travel! I had never used a service like this before and just moved to a new area so I wasn't sure how it would go. Lindsay met me and the fur babies before the trip and got a lay of the house and I was instantly comfortable with her! She was on time for every visit, she loved my pups as her own and she kept me in the loop at each visit! I never felt that I needed to worry about my babies while away and it allowed me to thoroughly relax! Thank you so much!”

“Brianna remains our absolute favorite cat sitter! We have booked her several times for extended trips and she has taken excellent care of our cat as well as our home. She is communicative, attentive, respectful, compassionate and overall wonderful! We strongly support a recommendation for her services!”

About: Hi there! I’ve had pets my entire life and currently have a 6 year old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix, so I’m no stranger to high energy dogs that need structure, exercise, and plenty of mental stimulation. Through caring for my own dog and helping friends and family with theirs over the years, I’ve gained experience with everything from daily walks and feeding routines to enrichment, playtime, and providing extra patience for anxious or reactive pups. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. One of the perks of working freelance is having a flexible schedule! That means I can often accommodate daytime walks, drop-ins, and last-minute requests. I love spending time with animals, so getting to care for pets throughout my week is something I genuinely enjoy. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. I’ve been trusted by friends and mutual friends to care for both their homes and pets over the years, so I understand how important that trust is and don’t take it lightly. I treat every home with respect, provide regular updates, and strive to give pet parents peace of mind while they’re away.
About: I’ve been in love with animals at a young age. When I was young I rescued a grey tabby when my mom was going to school. I raised him until he passed in 2020. In his memory, I’ve always been fond about cats. Oliver was not my only furry friend I had. I currently own a dog named Licky, two cockatoos, two pet rats, and an aquarium of fish…. And we have chickens, and ducks in our backyard! and we have three more cats! Boy, Samantha, and Lucy. I’m currently working at a summer camp for individuals with autism. My schedule is flexible during the holiday season. But I’m normally booked by summertime! I make the time to take care of animals if need be! I take care of my animals like they’re my own children. I love all my furry and feathered friends and I love your animals too!
“Paulina was great! She was very communicative and sent photos every day. She went above and beyond to get alternative transportation during bad weather to make sure my cat didn’t miss a meal. I felt at ease knowing someone reliable was taking care of my cat, and my cat clearly enjoyed her visits!”

About: I’ve taken care of each pet of every kind since I was about 14. My neighbors, friends, family, etc have relied on me to watch their sweet babies! I am currently a full time college student at East Carolina University studying elementary education. I am available for all pet sitting needs and would love to watch your pet! I have a fenced in yard and a sweet dog of my own who is very well trained and well behaved. If you have any questions please ask!
“Lily was wonderful with our cat, Koa! She was very attentive and gave her lots of love, updates and pictures of them cuddling! She definitely exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend her! We will definitely use her again… 😻 Thank you Lily! ☺️”

“Cynthia took such excellent care of my furbaby! I cannot recommend her enough! She took time for a couple of meet and greets before my booking so my dog would get accustomed to her presence. I noticed that my dog was much more relaxed at the second visit, which made me feel at ease knowing Cynthia would be taking such excellent care of her. Truly a stand-out quality caretaker for my furbaby!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Mebane with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
