I’m an active and responsible caregiver who enjoys spending quality time with dogs, whether that means going for walks, playing, getting some exercise, or simply relaxing together. I’m attentive to the little things that help dogs feel comfortable and happy, including maintaining their normal feeding and walking routines, providing plenty of attention, and making sure they get the care they need while you’re away. I’m also comfortable caring for dogs with different energy levels and personalities and will take the time to learn what works best for your pet. About: I’ve taken care of different pets my whole life! I’ve always had a ledger dog, but love animals in all shapes and sizes. I am an avid walker, and would love to take your animal out on walks or stay with them during a vacation! I am starting my nursing job the 20th and am available most days that I am off after I start. I am an early riser and usually go on a walk in the morning and throughout my day! I am in an apartment with lots of trails and dog parks within walking distance. My complex is extremely pet friendly, with a dog park/ play area on the property.

About: I love playing with and caring for animals. I know it’s hard to be there for your pet at all times, so I would love to help you with your needs. I love to play, walk, bathe, swim, and do pretty much whatever it is your animal needs. I am comfortable with all ages, sizes and breeds. If needed, I can administer medicines. I am available days , weeknights and weekends at all times. I have had my own dogs and other pets since I was 7 years old, so I am hoping that I can care for your pets the way that I have always cared for my own. Pet care is part of my everyday routine. I’m used to morning and evening walks, feeding on a schedule, meds when needed, and plenty of playtime and snuggles built into my day. I plan my errands and social stuff around animals being let out, fed, and comfortable, so adding your pets into that rhythm feels really natural for me. When I’m in a pet’s home, I stick to their normal routine as closely as possible – same feeding schedule, walk times, and sleeping spots. I do regular check-ins for food, water, potty breaks, and meds if needed, and I always build in playtime and cuddles so they’re not just ‘being watched,’ they’re actually getting attention. I keep the home tidy, follow any house rules you leave, and send photo updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away.

About: I've been working with dogs since childhood - my parents raised Pekingese & Dobermans. Even at 8 years old, I helped mama dogs birth their pups. My schoolmates thought it was gross, most adults thought it was weird, but I thought it was super cool to be a part of bringing life into the world through adorable little squeaking pups. Even though we were very ethical & loving with our pups, many backyard breeders are not, so I no longer agree with that. But as an adult, I fell in love with rescues & adopted a few over the years. Then I decided I wanted to be more involved with Rescues. So... I became a Foster Parent, assisted Black Dog Rescue, & was an integral part of Cooper's Companions Animal Rescue in Colorado before moving to NC. I usually ended up fostering unadoptable dogs & working with them extensively until they became adoptable. Then followed up with their new pet parents to help ensure success & making it stick. My specialty is working with fearful dogs, teaching pet owners how to get the behavior they want from their pet, stopping jumping on people, food possessiveness, leash training, & training dogs to walk on a treadmill. We have 2 little dogs who had a big 'sister' for many years, so all size dogs are welcome; Both of our pups are super dog-friendly. One of them loves to play with other dogs after she gets to know them, and the other will play sometimes, but can be a bit of a snob. We want all dogs to enjoy staying with us, but... we won't tolerate a 'truly' aggressive dog in our home. My dogs might initially bark at other dogs, but they don't attack other dogs, so should either of my dogs be attacked or if a human is bitten, the offender will be separated & crated inside, or placed in our separately fenced kennel area outside (if you prefer) for the remainder of their stay. Any issues will be discussed with the dog owner to establish their preference in this regard. Otherwise, we'll shower your fur baby with love & attention so you won't have to worry about them when you're away. Please note: ***We will only board dogs which are spayed or neutered.*** If they are not spayed/neutered, I will be happy to do drop in or house-sitting care, but we will not be able to host in our own home. --- I require a meetup with dogs & their owners before actually accepting a booking. If you are unable to do this, I'm unable to take care of your fur babies. --- I work from home, so my availability is fairly open unless we're on vacation or if in the event that I have to go on a business trip. _____________________________________________________________________________ *** Important Note*** Doggie Day Care is for "up to 9 hours" each stay. If you need care for more than 9 hours, please schedule it as a boarding. Just let me know it's for an extended hours stay in a message. Otherwise, for requested stays exceeding 9 hours, I will send you a modification request changing it from 'day care' to the status of 'boarding' which costs more. If I have to send you a modification request & you don't want to pay a boarding fee for time exceeding 9 hours, you may choose to decline the change & it will never actually be booked with me. However, in this instance, you will need to find another sitter. Thank you for understanding... We have a fenced in yard for your pup to play in. The previous home owners put in a separate fenced kennel, so that's an available option in case you prefer your dog to be separated. It's unusual, but some people do prefer that. We almost never use it, though.

If care takes place in my home, your pet will be in a calm, safe, and supervised environment where they receive the same level of attention and routine-based care. I limit distractions and other animals as needed so each pet gets proper individual care. About: I have been the go to in my family for watching animals. Everyone has different ways they live and our animals find comfort in routine. I have always done my best to meet them where they are and ensure their animals feel as comfortable as possible while the parents are away. I currently work full-time, so my availability is a bit thin. Overall I work approximately 10hrs a day. Which means I am only available early mornings and late evenings on work days. I have my own pets but my husband takes care of their needs while I'm not around. We aren't in a position to watch pets in our own home but outside of the time I need to work I am very flexible with my time. I do not offer boarding services. However, when taking care of another's pet before the service date(s) I gather as much info as I can. What is their routine? how much energy does your pet have? Etc. And I will do my best to accommodate. I try to take my own dogg out about every 2-4hrs and give her lots of love and attention. If yous animal has different needs from meds to high attention or even more frequent potty breaks I can work with those factors.

About: I’ve had a family dog since I was a freshman in college and have since took on the responsibility of adopting my first fur baby. Spencer was 2 months old when I got him and I’ve been obsessed every since. He’s a beautiful Shepard mix with the bluest eyes you’ll ever see. I never knew I could love something as deeply as I do him. I’ve been training Spencer since the day I got him. I will work with your pups if that’s what you’d like or just be there to keep them company! I’m pretty active and love going on walks so your baby can get plenty of exercise. You can trust leaving your baby with me and know that he will be in great hands. My dog has been on allergy medication for some time so I am comfortable with proving your pup with oral medication. I also volunteer with a rescue and have experience and puppies all the way up to senior dogs! I work full time but my hours are flexible. There are days I can work from home. I am close enough to my office that I can run home if need be. I am available everyday before 10:30am and most days after 5:00pm. My weekends are completely open! I live in a complex with a fenced in dog park 50 yards away from my door! I am a very athletic person and love to get my exercise so will live to walk/run with your dog if that’s what you want.
