“I was leaving on a long vacation and although I had a live-in pet sitter for my elderly cat Sweetie, this person worked during the day. Sweetie needed encouragement to eat so I looked to Rover.com to find someone who could come in at noon to freshen up Sweetie’s food. Marcia got back to me right away, dropped by to meet us and get a key and, while I was away, sent me photos and videos of my cat taken when she came by to feed her! The first report I received was a photo of Sweetie’s empty food dish from breakfast plus a video of her heartily eating her lunch, which showed me that we were on the right track! About: Hello! My name is Carmen J. and I am so pumped to meet your furry family! I am comfortable with all breeds, sizes, ages, and training levels when it comes to pups! I have worked for/with vets, shelters, and rescues; and have basically seen it all with all sorts of animals! If you need someone to pet sit and have exotic animals who need care as well, I have plenty of experience in that arena too! I’m working part time and will be attending school in the spring! I have plenty of time for your furry friend. They will receive multiple walks, play time, and tons of enrichment! As if they were my own! Again, tons of walks, play time, enrichment, and snuggles. I always keep a close eye on my dogs to ensure all play is safe.

About: Pet care plays a significant role in my life as I am working as a veterinary assistant and am actively pursuing an Associate degree in Animal Care and Management. My job allows me to directly impact the well-being of animals, while my studies deepen my knowledge and skills in providing top-notch care. my passion for animal welfare shines through as I balance work and education, creating a fulfilling and purposeful routine. By dedicating myself to pet care both professionally and academically, I am not only enriching my own life but also positively impacting the lives of the furry friends I encounter. On my days off from working and school I would love to offer my services to pets and their owners. Knowing they’re with someone experienced in pet care is super important. Since my pets are mostly farm animals they Free range their pastures. Although I do have a dog and his name is max. Max has a huge yard to run around in so im never too worried about him having to go on a walk he just runs around in our fenced in yard. max gets his daily exercise in as he is a small breed dog.
