About: Does your pet require medications? I can help with that! I have been a veterinary technician for 26 years & in vet med for a total of 30 years. I'll follow your specific instructions for feeding, medications, walks, playtime, & any other care your pets need. I'll treat your home with the same respect I would my own - keeping things clean, securing doors & gates, and making sure your pets are never left in an unsafe situation. About: What sets me apart is my personalized and attentive approach to pet care. With over 8 years of experience, I take the time to understand each pet’s individual needs, routines, and personality to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether it’s energetic walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to giving pet parents peace of mind while they’re away. Pet care is an essential part of my weekly routine, and I structure my schedule to provide consistent and attentive care. My mornings typically include check-ins or walks for pets, ensuring they start their day with exercise and attention. I also plan my mid-day breaks or work intervals to accommodate feeding, potty breaks, or playtime as needed. On days when my schedule includes specific commitments, like work or classes, I always make time before and after to ensure pets are cared for without any interruptions to their routine. My approach is adaptable, allowing me to meet the needs of pets and their owners, whether they require short visits, extended care. I strive to maintain a pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to ensure their comfort and minimize stress. This includes following feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any special care instructions, such as administering medications or specific training. I also prioritize keeping their environment clean and safe, making sure food and water bowls are sanitized and their living area is tidy. While in my client’s home, I respect their space by leaving it as clean and organized as when I arrived, ensuring a worry-free environment. When pets stay in my home, I create a safe, welcoming, and pet-friendly environment. I designate areas where they can relax, play, and feel at ease. I adhere to their usual feeding and exercise schedules and provide plenty of attention and enrichment activities. For dogs, this includes walks, outdoor play, and cuddles; for cats or smaller animals, I ensure they have quiet spaces and interactive play. I also take precautions to ensure a safe environment by securing harmful items and monitoring interactions if I have other pets.

It means so much to a pet parent to know that their animals are well cared for when we are out of the house. Daysi provided great care for our cats when we had to be away for a night. She was attentive and allowed them to warm up to her. Daysi went above and beyond to ensure our routine was followed and sent messages to us along the way. She is conscientious, friendly and easy going. Thank you, Daysi!

About: I have been the go to in my family for watching animals. Everyone has different ways they live and our animals find comfort in routine. I have always done my best to meet them where they are and ensure their animals feel as comfortable as possible while the parents are away. I currently work full-time, so my availability is a bit thin. Overall I work approximately 10hrs a day. Which means I am only available early mornings and late evenings on work days. I have my own pets but my husband takes care of their needs while I'm not around. We aren't in a position to watch pets in our own home but outside of the time I need to work I am very flexible with my time. I do not offer boarding services. However, when taking care of another's pet before the service date(s) I gather as much info as I can. What is their routine? how much energy does your pet have? Etc. And I will do my best to accommodate. I try to take my own dogg out about every 2-4hrs and give her lots of love and attention. If yous animal has different needs from meds to high attention or even more frequent potty breaks I can work with those factors.

About: I love playing with and caring for animals. I know it’s hard to be there for your pet at all times, so I would love to help you with your needs. I love to play, walk, bathe, swim, and do pretty much whatever it is your animal needs. I am comfortable with all ages, sizes and breeds. If needed, I can administer medicines. I am available days , weeknights and weekends at all times. I have had my own dogs and other pets since I was 7 years old, so I am hoping that I can care for your pets the way that I have always cared for my own. Pet care is part of my everyday routine. I’m used to morning and evening walks, feeding on a schedule, meds when needed, and plenty of playtime and snuggles built into my day. I plan my errands and social stuff around animals being let out, fed, and comfortable, so adding your pets into that rhythm feels really natural for me. When I’m in a pet’s home, I stick to their normal routine as closely as possible – same feeding schedule, walk times, and sleeping spots. I do regular check-ins for food, water, potty breaks, and meds if needed, and I always build in playtime and cuddles so they’re not just ‘being watched,’ they’re actually getting attention. I keep the home tidy, follow any house rules you leave, and send photo updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away.

About: I have dog sitted for various neighbors and friends, old and younger dogs, and aggressive cats, so I have experience for every type of pet that I come across. I also have pets of my own, 2 dogs and 3 cats, so I know how to care for 5 different pets at the same time, and address each of their needs. I am college freshman on summer break with a bunch of time on my hands, so I have plenty of time to hang out and care for your pets! I can take them outside and walk them around the neighborhood, or hang out with them out in some fenced-in area. I can also refill their food and water, and if a crate is necessary, do that too.

As of September 2026, there are 1,297 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Mebane. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Mebane. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
