About: I have walked and pet sat for many years for friends, family, and coworkers. I myself have had dogs and cats all my life so know how important it is to have someone you trust take care of your babies. One of my dogs is senior so I am used to lifting him (50 pounds) and providing medication with meals when needed. I will treat your pet like my own and look forward to meeting them(: I have a full time job so can provide availability before or after work hours. I have more availability on the weekends and am flexible. We can discuss what exactly you would like for your pet and go from there! If they need to be walked I can walk them in your neighborhood or local park. If your pet needs some extra love and attention I can check on them so they are content and play with them so they are entertained!

About: I’ve had animals of many kinds from tiny to huge growing up. I’d normally house sit for family and friends until I decided to join the Rover crew. I enjoy house sitting as I’ve realized pet are usually more comfortable in their own homes. I have the ability to bathe, walk, feed, and of course play with your pets! I am a part time college student doing majority of my classes online. For the time being my schedule is an empty open book waiting to be filled! I have a huge soft spot for making your pets the happiest they can be while they are with me! If they enjoy the car, cuddling up for a movie, stores, parks, or even just being in the backyard you name it and I’d love to make it happen! We offer the most unique experience for your pets, allowing them to have their own getaway when you have things come up in life. Whether that is planned vacations or when life likes to kick you down, we are here to offer a boarding experience like no other. My family and I have always owned dogs; I grew up with them and trained them all my life. Our family is also part of a rescue. So what better way to use our land than to also take care of other people's dogs! We are located in the northern part of Alamance County. We offer 98 acres of land with several walking trails next to a flowing creek, a clean and swimmable pond with a shallow area, a gated outside area with separate runners for the cool days with a nice breeze, and an inside area with luxury crates equipped with barn doors and beds inside of them for all of our furry visitors to relax and feel right at home! Here at our farm called The Retreat, we want your pet to have their own getaway while you have your own getaway! Currently, we are usually available 24 hours a day for your pet. I work from home as a bookkeeper and as a Realtor, so I’m usually here working from home unless I’m running to show a home. While I’m out, I have my wife and the rest of my family to cover my spot until I return. So, your pet should always have someone here to care for them! Here, your pet will always have someone to care for them throughout the day, so you can trust they are in the best of hands. We also understand that it’s a lot of land, so we offer clip-on air tags for your dog's collar while they stay here for extra safety and surveillance. It is our goal for our furry guests to have a safe and stimulating environment at all times during their stay!

About: I enjoy animals of all kinds, and I understand seeing pets as family members. I have been primary caregiver for many pets over the years, from aquarium fish to parrots to large dogs. I have (with professional guidance) trained puppies and cared for elder dogs. My work schedule is generally flexible and mostly remote, so I believe I can accommodate most needs. Advance notice always helps but I can likely handle last-minute requests as well. I am not able to host any pets but I am available for pet-sitting, check-ins, and dog-walking. Above all I try to care for people's pets as they would. Information about your pets' routines, dietary and medical needs, training, etc., is always appreciated. I am alert to what pets communicate about their needs and feelings. I generally believe in positive reinforcement and addressing issues before they become problems.

About: Pet care plays a significant role in my life as I am working as a veterinary assistant and am actively pursuing an Associate degree in Animal Care and Management. My job allows me to directly impact the well-being of animals, while my studies deepen my knowledge and skills in providing top-notch care. my passion for animal welfare shines through as I balance work and education, creating a fulfilling and purposeful routine. Since my pets are mostly farm animals they Free range their pastures. Although I do have a dog and his name is max. Max has a huge yard to run around in so im never too worried about him having to go on a walk he just runs around in our fenced in yard. max gets his daily exercise in as he is a small breed dog.

About: I have been taking care of different types of dogs since I was young. Friends, family and others have relied on me to walk, feed, and watch their dogs over night in their own home. I’m currently working part time and I am a part time student, but they are different days so I have plenty of time with your pup or pups! I am free for walking, playing, and watching dogs in your home when it is needed. I will follow any instructions you give to me to safely walk and take care of your animals in your home or neighborhood, this includes backyard, front yard, and anywhere else I am given permission to take your dog.
