Doggy Day Care in Walkers Landing

About: Hello! My husband Nick and I work from home and would love to watch your furry baby during the day. We are new to Rover but not new to taking care of animals. Besides having childhood pets, we have been pet owners for over 10 years. We have fostered and dog-sat several dogs in the past and have had a few dogs of our own but do not currently have any. We aren't ready to adopt another family member just yet but miss having dogs around occasionally. We have indoor and outdoor cats (all up to date on vaccines and are all fixed) so your dog(s) would need to be cat savvy or disinterested in cats. Your dog(s) would hang out with humans (and kitties) all day while you're at work or running errands. We have a fenced in backyard and could take them on walks around the neighborhood. Do you have a dog that can't go to regular doggy day care (maybe because they aren't dog friendly) or perhaps they have separation anxiety or need more frequent bathroom breaks, then look no further. We would love to care for your fur baby like our own. My husband and I both work from home and can easily take your dogs for neighborhood walks or frequent bathroom breaks outside in our fenced in backyard. We have a fenced in backyard for bathroom breaks and play time and a nice quiet neighborhood for walks. We have a quiet home with indoor and outdoor cats and no kids.

I’m very observant and hands-on, so pet parents can feel confident that their dogs will receive lots of attention, supervision, exercise, and affection throughout their stay. I work from home and have plenty of time and attention to give to your dog(s). I wake up early so we can get outside before it gets too hot. Happy for short or long stays! I have an acre fenced yard that is reinforced every few inches that is full of fun and smells and space to run. They will always be supervised, and indoors there is lots of cozy spots to lay and/or cuddle.

We have a fully fenced in 1 acre lot that's gated to keep your pet safe. Our sheltie mix Callie and sheltie Katie will be there to show them around our property and where to find the best spot to relax, c'mon over! We work from home and are constantly in and outside our property maintaining and taking care of pets of our own. We have plenty of time to take care of yours with additional care that can be made. We have an entire acre of fenced in property with a gated front entrance to the road. We are available to visually monitor your pet and give them the easiest most comfortable stay we can. We understand how it is to have an anxious animal with separation anxiety, hopefully our peaceful property can provide comfort and keep them occupied. We are experienced with dogs that require special nutritional needs and diets, including allergen diets.

About: What makes me special? Everything!!! A dog has always been a family member since I can remember. Thank God for loving parents who believed in bringing all kinds of pets in our home. We had birds, hamsters, and even the occasional snake or frog from the yard! There is a certain bond you get from a dog that you cannot get from any other animal, though...and I am lucky enough to have experienced that. My parents are proud owners of a rescue cat, and my sister's family has 3 kitties in their happy home!! They also have a sweet little gerbil that has somehow survived all of those felines! You can definitely tell we are a family of animal lovers!!! Since February 2017, my family "farm" has grown. I raised 21 babychicks from a day old...8 of which were ours, the rest for 2 other families...then we added 3 more, barely mature, hens and a rooster to our flock. It has definitely been a fun and wonderful learning experience! I have a wonderful rescued Pit, Buddy! We raised those chicks with Buddy around...so he is great with them! It's pretty amazing!!! (Oh...and just to clarify...Buddy will stay home during any visits/stays with your pet(s). That way you'll know your baby/babies are receiving the full attention they deserve!) Buddy is probably the most spoiled dog in the world because I make practically everything for him, from his shampoos (using essential oils) to his treats. He does get the dental treats at least once a day, but other than that...he's a gourmet doggie! I am a stay-at-home pup Mom...so on the 24 hour overnight visits with me, I'll only need to leave a couple of times during the day to take Buddy out to play, etc....he'll be with his Dad all night. Otherwise, I'm all yours, so if you need someone there to take your baby out literally every 2 hours or less, I can do it!! :-) I do Daycare a little different than Rover does...I only offer daycare in your home. I feel this is the best way to keep your pets in a place they feel super comfortable & with a sitter who will keep them happy, healthy and on their schedule completely. I will always keep you up to date on how your pet or pets are doing and will send you plenty of pictures if you wish! Extras services available: Baths with or w/o essential oils, Homemade bath soap with essential oils to-go (made with any requested oils from list), Doggie bag of treats to-go (made to your pet's dietary needs.) I have numerous flours available to meet any digestive issues. - No preservatives & human-grade (though some flavors may not suit human's taste buds!) By the way...I am no salesperson... & will never try to sell you any extras...these are just other things I offer if you are interested. Just feel free to ask if you are interested. :-)
