About: Over the past 5 years I have fostered close to 50 dogs for various local rescue groups, so I have a lot of experience with different breeds, sizes, temperaments, etc. I have offered overnight services both in friends' homes and in my own home. I also have experience with my own pup, a hound dog mix, who loves walks too. I would love to help you care for your sweet pets! *Please note that all boarding requests will need to provide a copy of their pet's vaccine records in order to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved.* I work from home, so I have plenty of availability for care both outside my standard 8:30-5 working hours as well as during the work day. I have a fenced in yard, as well as several crates throughout the house. I have multiple leashes and harnesses in case your pup needs to borrow one.

“I’ve had Loki doing daycare with Darin and McKenzie for a little over a week now and I can’t be happier about their smile on his face every time I pick him up. I had to pivot quickly with finding him a new daycare and they’ve been so nice and accommodating about it too, and very flexible with my less than ideal work schedule. They’re very sweet to Loki and their dogs are too, and are very attentive to and respectful of my routine with him as well. When I bring Loki home, he’s completely a happy camper and takes a giant snooze after playing hard all day. When I drop him off, he’s so excited that he’s practically dragging me to their front door! For a happy pup in good care by really nice and communicative people, I highly recommend Darin and McKenzie :)”

About: Do you need to go out of town? Need somebody to take care of your pets? Look no further I'm the person for the job! I walk my son Munny daily about 3 or 4 times a day, and let him run around in the backyard. “Erin is very responsive, flexible about timing for drop-off and pick-up and I can tell she loves doggies! She stayed in contact with me throughout Milly's stay to let me know how she was doing! Large fenced in back yard for the pups to run and play! When I picked Milly up, I could tell she had a great time (even slept the three hours home)! I will definitely be using Erin in the future when we travel to Elon to visit my daughter and would recommend her to others staying in the area! Thank again Erin!!”

Our property includes plenty of safely fenced-in space for supervised play, exercise, and enrichment—perfect for dogs who love to run, explore, and burn off energy. You can feel confident knowing your pup will be treated like one of our own while you’re away. I work full-time Mon-Fri from 8am–4pm, and my fiancé is home during the day, only leaving occasionally for training sessions. Dogs are let outside multiple times throughout the day for potty breaks, play, and exercise. We’re happy to feed, administer medications, and follow special care routines as needed to match your dog’s normal schedule. All pet sitting is done in our home only, allowing us to closely monitor every dog in our care. Our backyard is fully enclosed with a 6-foot privacy fence, providing a secure space for supervised play and exercise. The front yard is enclosed with a 4-foot fence and is typically used when my daughter is outside or for small dogs who prefer calmer, smaller play groups. Our home sits on approximately 1.5 acres, giving dogs plenty of room to stretch their legs while remaining in a controlled, safe environment. Dogs are always supervised outdoors, and we carefully separate playtime when needed to ensure every pup feels comfortable and secure.

“Our experience with Kenan was just what we needed. We have a highly anxious rescue boy with severe separation anxiety, yet we knew from the moment we met Kenan that our dog was in good hands. Kenan greeted Hank (our dog) by sitting on the ground and allowing Hank to see that he was safe. Kenan also took Hank and his new friend, Paco (another dog) on a long walk on their beautiful farm, and knew when it was time to provide some down time. Hank came home happy and exhausted, and he will undoubtedly be returning to the farm!”

About: What makes me special? Everything!!! A dog has always been a family member since I can remember. Thank God for loving parents who believed in bringing all kinds of pets in our home. We had birds, hamsters, and even the occasional snake or frog from the yard! There is a certain bond you get from a dog that you cannot get from any other animal, though...and I am lucky enough to have experienced that. My parents are proud owners of a rescue cat, and my sister's family has 3 kitties in their happy home!! They also have a sweet little gerbil that has somehow survived all of those felines! You can definitely tell we are a family of animal lovers!!! Since February 2017, my family "farm" has grown. I raised 21 babychicks from a day old...8 of which were ours, the rest for 2 other families...then we added 3 more, barely mature, hens and a rooster to our flock. It has definitely been a fun and wonderful learning experience! I have a wonderful rescued Pit, Buddy! We raised those chicks with Buddy around...so he is great with them! It's pretty amazing!!! (Oh...and just to clarify...Buddy will stay home during any visits/stays with your pet(s). That way you'll know your baby/babies are receiving the full attention they deserve!) Buddy is probably the most spoiled dog in the world because I make practically everything for him, from his shampoos (using essential oils) to his treats. He does get the dental treats at least once a day, but other than that...he's a gourmet doggie! I am a stay-at-home pup Mom...so on the 24 hour overnight visits with me, I'll only need to leave a couple of times during the day to take Buddy out to play, etc....he'll be with his Dad all night. Otherwise, I'm all yours, so if you need someone there to take your baby out literally every 2 hours or less, I can do it!! :-) I do Daycare a little different than Rover does...I only offer daycare in your home. I feel this is the best way to keep your pets in a place they feel super comfortable & with a sitter who will keep them happy, healthy and on their schedule completely. I will always keep you up to date on how your pet or pets are doing and will send you plenty of pictures if you wish! Extras services available: Baths with or w/o essential oils, Homemade bath soap with essential oils to-go (made with any requested oils from list), Doggie bag of treats to-go (made to your pet's dietary needs.) I have numerous flours available to meet any digestive issues. - No preservatives & human-grade (though some flavors may not suit human's taste buds!) By the way...I am no salesperson... & will never try to sell you any extras...these are just other things I offer if you are interested. Just feel free to ask if you are interested. :-)
