About: I am a professor at a local university with a flexible schedule who loves hanging out with all sorts of pets. I am professional, punctual, and playful. My wife, Diana, works from home so between the two of us there’s pretty much always someone home hanging out with our doggie guests. We live on 4 acres, about half of which is fenced in for the doggos to run and play safely. We only crate if they are comfortable with that, and if no one is home. My teaching schedule allows me to be home a lot during the week and I am open most weekends. I am also pretty flexible to do drop ins and walks, as well as pickup/dropoff. My wife, Diana, works from home and helps with the pet care. Pretty much someone is always home so the pet guests normally hang out with us most of the day. I know every pet has their own personality so I like to get to know each pet individually and speak with their owners to come up with a care plan. We aim to create the same level of comfort here that your pet has at home. Our guests are part of the family while they are here.

I work at a vet hospital as a professional pet groomer. I am very passionate about animals. I have experience in senior dogs, administering medications, and potty training puppies. About: I love and care for all animals equally, but I handle them according to their temperaments and type. I have no problem handling bigger dogs and setting the tone for boundaries and sternness that they sometimes require, while still being able to maintain a caring and loving relationship. I am capable of handling most animals and am highly in tune with what they need, want, how they show love, or even how and when they want space. My goal is to make sure every animal feels comfortable and taken care of the way I would want someone to look after my fur babies. I have a pretty flexible schedule as I work from home about half the time. This allows me to give plenty of time and attention to my dog as well as to any other animals I am looking after. So long as I am given enough notice, I can typically have plenty of time for fur babies. I care for animals in their home in the way that most closely resembles the way they normally get to act in their home. I want them to feel comfortable if they want to relax. I want them to feel like they can play if I am there for an extended period of time. I do my best to make sure that they are safe and help them understand that I am there to give them all the attention and care they require.
