About: I've been pet sitting since I was a young child, including my own pets, and shortly thereafter, neighbors and friends.. I began training dogs in 2014 at Petsmart and trained pet parents and pets to decrease negative behavior such as chewing, biting, jumping, and barking. For the past seven years I have worked at a high occupancy county shelter, where I became one of the founding team members of our enrichment program. Recently I took a job at Orange County Animal Services. Ensuring animals get the proper care they deserve is one of the forces that drives me to work at a shelter. I’ve worked with a wide variety of animals in my 10 years of professional career, which has made me feel comfortable handling many different breeds, temperaments. I recognize that each animal has specific needs and comfort levels and am confident in my ability to connect with animals and help them feel safe and secure while caring for them. Should your dog or cat need daily medicine, I am trained in administering medications and would be happy to do so as needed. Additionally, I have completed more than 20 training webinars on various topics, including topics such as Understanding Canine Communication, Safety in the Veterinary Workplace, and Animal Enrichment Best Practices. Keep your pet in the familiar space of their own home, while having someone care for them professionally! I work 5 days a week either 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm so on my working days I would get up and get them fed/exercised in the morning and get them out to use the bathroom before leaving for the work day. After work I would get them out and let them use the bathroom then follow the host feeding schedule. In the evening, I would plan a fun activity such as a game of fetch or a long walk in the area, plus lots of snuggles on the couch (if you allow!) I am getting settled into a new house, so currently, I only offer pet sitting at the clients home. I will treat all clients' pets as my own. I will provide all meals based on the clients pre-determined schedule, ensure that the pets get outside for as many bathroom breaks as necessary, and also include lots of play time/enrichment during our time together!

About: I've been working with dogs since childhood - my parents raised Pekingese & Dobermans. Even at 8 years old, I helped mama dogs birth their pups. My schoolmates thought it was gross, most adults thought it was weird, but I thought it was super cool to be a part of bringing life into the world through adorable little squeaking pups. Even though we were very ethical & loving with our pups, many backyard breeders are not, so I no longer agree with that. But as an adult, I fell in love with rescues & adopted a few over the years. Then I decided I wanted to be more involved with Rescues. So... I became a Foster Parent, assisted Black Dog Rescue, & was an integral part of Cooper's Companions Animal Rescue in Colorado before moving to NC. I usually ended up fostering "unadoptable" dogs & working with them extensively until they became adoptable. Then I followed up with their new pet parents to help ensure success & making it stick. My specialty is working with fearful dogs, teaching pet owners how to get the behavior they want from their pet, stopping jumping on people, food possessiveness, leash training, & training dogs to walk on a treadmill. We have 2 little dogs who had a big 'sister' for many years, so all size dogs are welcome; Both of our pups are super dog-friendly. One of them loves to play with other dogs after she gets to know them, and the other will play sometimes, but can be a bit of a snob. We want all dogs to enjoy staying with us, but... we won't tolerate a 'truly' aggressive dog in our home. My dogs might initially bark at other dogs, but they don't attack other dogs, so should either of my dogs be attacked or if a human is bitten, the offender will be separated & crated inside, or placed in our separately fenced kennel area outside (if you prefer) for the remainder of their stay. Any issues will be discussed with the dog owner to establish their preference in this regard. Otherwise, we'll shower your fur baby with love & attention so you won't have to worry about them when you're away. Please note: *** Going forward, we will only board *female* dogs & they must be spayed. We stopped accepting male dogs in our home because the hiking of legs is problematic. *** If they are not spayed, I will be happy to do drop in care, but we will not be able to host in our own home. --- I require a meetup with dogs & their owners before actually accepting a booking. If you are unable to do this, I'm unable to take care of your fur babies. --- I work from home, so my availability is fairly open unless we're on vacation or if in the event that I have to go on a business trip. _____________________________________________________________________________ *** Important Note*** Doggie Day Care is for "up to 9 hours" each stay. If you need care for more than 9 hours, please schedule it as a boarding. Just let me know it's for an extended hours stay in a message. Otherwise, for requested stays exceeding 9 hours, I will send you a modification request changing it from 'day care' to the status of 'boarding' which costs more. If I have to send you a modification request & you don't want to pay a boarding fee for time exceeding 9 hours, you may choose to decline the change & it will never actually be booked with me. However, in this instance, you will need to find another sitter. Thank you for understanding... We have a fenced in yard for your pup to play in. The previous home owners put in a separate fenced kennel, so that's an available option in case you prefer your dog to be separated. It's unusual, but some people do prefer that. We almost never use it, though.

About: I can not board your pet in my home. I live in an apartment. I will do house sits for you. You will get the best of care from me. I care about the pets I watch. I love what I do and take my pet sitting very seriously. I Train puppies to dogs. I rescue dogs and find them new homes. And train dogs for service dogs. watch lucky dog on Saturdays . I have a full time job. working 40 hours a week. I will walk dogs around that And on days off. I can stay in your home; but, Keep in mind If you need me to House sit I may need to send my Husband (Whom is a cop) to check on your fur baby til I get there this will be for first day only and then I take over for rest of time. And I will not able to keep dog in my home. fun times I have an Italian greagle. ( grayhound/Begal) she is a service dog. dogs here must be leash walked. Park near by must pick up on time i do work full time. I will take care of dogs on my days off. All though I am now able to take care of pets on Sat. and Sun. Please check with me. Once you book me to watch your pet and then want to change it you will need to pay for extra time. I don' t have a fenced in yard but I do have a near by park I can take your dog to. and a walk trail. I have a full time job.I work Mon. to Fri. I have no time for fake people. If you are truly serious about me taking care of your pets and want to meet with me then by all means contact me. And we will take it from there I will not take care of cats. I am allergic to them. I will first do a meet and greet. and If I feel that your a good fit for me then we will take the next step.

About: I am currently getting my animal care degree at acc and there i have learned many skills such as animal husbandry , basic animal health care , animal handling. I am also fear free certified , can preform cat and dog cpr and can administer oral medications as well as administer fluids and injections. I am currently interning at Liberty acres which is a animal rescue/zoo and take care of many animals some including reptiles,birds,equine,livestock and foxes. I am currently working part time usually nights so I would be able to do drop ins in the morning before work or mid day and after work as well. On my days off I could do any time :) The specific tasks and level of care provided depend on the individual needs of the pet and the services offered, but generally include feeding, grooming, exercising, monitoring health, and providing companionship.

Doggie care is my part time job and I love it. :) For dog walking, I’m available most days, anytime between 8am and 7pm. My drop in visits are 15-20 minutes and I don’t charge extra for a 2nd or 3rd dog! My schedule is flexible and I’m available 7 days a week. :) I like to do drop in care, to give your pup a potty break, some love and play time! I also enjoy walking dogs, giving them the extra exercise and socialization that helps make their day better.
