I have never gone a year of my life without owning at least 2 dogs. I have always trained them well with leash training, potty, and crate training. I now am training a service dog (with the help of some classes) and am learning so much more about a dog’s health, needs, and how to learn from them as much as they learn from us. I know that when I go out of town I want the best care for my dogs and I want to provide a good place for other dogs to stay as well.

I am so glad we found Karrington and Fish! I had to leave town last minute, and she was kind enough to take Jax in. I was thankful for the updates and photos she sent me. Jax was happy and relaxed when we brought him home, and I definitely would send Jax back to them again for boarding. Thank you!
Karrington was awesome and a great help in a pinch. I needed last minute help and she was gracious enough to watch Rosie for me. I’m so thankful. Rosie has a good time and I appreciated the picture sent.
Karrington was great with my dog Kahne. I had to make a last minute request and she helped me out a ton. My dog is shy and she was great with him! Thank you so much for taking care of my pet!
She was amazing and took great care of my Belle who is super shy and timid. I got updates detailed updates daily including pictures. I will be using her next time!

Planning
I am a full time online student at the moment so I am available all day everyday, with the exception of future appointments or meetings that will not take more than a few hours out of a day at a time. I am typically home watching over my own dogs at all hours of the day; I do work part time on the weekends though and am usually gone for 5-8 hours at a time onFridays-Sundays (depending on the week).

I live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood which provides a standard sized tennis court, which we have basically turned into a play park for dogs! We all have contributed toys to leave at the tennis court and I LOVE brining my dog (and the doggie I am watching over) to the court to run freely for a while and play without worrying about other dogs or being on a leash. Because I have a larger dog (110 lbs; he is a gentle giant), I have a large crate and large bed as well! This will be great for any sized dog whether they are crate-trained or not :)

I am very busy with studying but every hour I take a 10 minute break and usually play and walk with my dog, grab a snack or the mail together, or maybe even just take a nap together. When I do have free time from school work or classes I am having a relaxing day with friends, taking Fish to the dog park, and I love to take a weekend off from work and go to my parents' house where my older dog (ginger, 14 years old) lives and where they have a big beautiful yard to play in!
