“12/10 Luanna and her partner went truly above and beyond to take care of my dog when we were out of town. They had incredible communication and even troubleshooted getting into our garage when we had a dead battery. Juniper looked so happy in all the photos - they did a great job building trust. Will definitely be rebooking if possible!”

“She came accepted the 2x/day drop-in 3days in a row within minutes of my request! She was very accommodating! Loved on my puppy! Loved the picture updates and report card of the visit! I will be using her again!”

“Lily was wonderful with our cat, Koa! She was very attentive and gave her lots of love, updates and pictures of them cuddling! She definitely exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend her! We will definitely use her again… 😻 Thank you Lily! ☺️”

“Daysi is absolutely amazing! She took incredible care of our two pups while we were away for the weekend last minute. This was our first time using Rover and it will not be our last—it DEFINITELY will not be our last time using Daysi! She took such photos of our pups having fun and wrote such sweet little cards for each visit. Daysi is trustworthy, kind, and so genuine and sweet. Our one wary pup took to her right away and loved her. Daysi is just amazing!”

“We always choose Cynthia for our services! She’s very communicative, compassionate, and clean. My family recommend Cynthia to anyone looking for a smooth River experience”

“Lauren was great! Our dog absolutely loved her, and we can’t wait to book with her again soon. She is very sweet, and we know that our dog is in good hands with her while we are away.”

I work full time Tuesday- Friday but am able for morning and afternoon check-ins, walks, feeding, & playtime! Weekends are pretty open ! About: What sets me apart is my personalized and attentive approach to pet care. With over 8 years of experience, I take the time to understand each pet’s individual needs, routines, and personality to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether it’s energetic walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to giving pet parents peace of mind while they’re away. Pet care is an essential part of my weekly routine, and I structure my schedule to provide consistent and attentive care. My mornings typically include check-ins or walks for pets, ensuring they start their day with exercise and attention. I also plan my mid-day breaks or work intervals to accommodate feeding, potty breaks, or playtime as needed. On days when my schedule includes specific commitments, like work or classes, I always make time before and after to ensure pets are cared for without any interruptions to their routine. My approach is adaptable, allowing me to meet the needs of pets and their owners, whether they require short visits, extended care. I strive to maintain a pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to ensure their comfort and minimize stress. This includes following feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any special care instructions, such as administering medications or specific training. I also prioritize keeping their environment clean and safe, making sure food and water bowls are sanitized and their living area is tidy. While in my client’s home, I respect their space by leaving it as clean and organized as when I arrived, ensuring a worry-free environment. When pets stay in my home, I create a safe, welcoming, and pet-friendly environment. I designate areas where they can relax, play, and feel at ease. I adhere to their usual feeding and exercise schedules and provide plenty of attention and enrichment activities. For dogs, this includes walks, outdoor play, and cuddles; for cats or smaller animals, I ensure they have quiet spaces and interactive play. I also take precautions to ensure a safe environment by securing harmful items and monitoring interactions if I have other pets.

About: Pet sitting was one of the first jobs I ever took up. Along with my family being a pet owner household, I’ve taken care of many family members pets and also friends of family pets. I am a reoccurring pet sitter with almost everyone I’ve helped before. I’m currently a full time college student, but my classes only take up so much of my time. I have classes on Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 10am-11am. In October, I will start a new class on Tuesday/Thursday from 1pm-4pm. If I’m requested to stay in the home, I will move whatever I need to do to fit comfortably around me keeping your pet company. It’s my responsibility to meet the needs of the owner and their pet!

I’m comfortable with puppies, high-energy dogs, and senior pets who may need a little extra patience and care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority, and I’ll make sure you feel at ease with regular updates and communication. I work 12-hour hospital shifts, so my availability can vary slightly week to week, but I’m intentional about only accepting bookings I can fully commit to. On my days off, I have plenty of time to give pets the attention, walks, playtime, and care they need. I’m reliable, communicative, and always make sure pets stay on their normal routine as much as possible. I care for every pet with patience, attention, and genuine love. About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and a proud dog mom myself, so I know just how much our pets mean to us. I have dogs of my own and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and little quirks. Whether your fur baby needs an overnight sitter, walks, playtime, meals, or simply someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll treat your pets like family and keep you updated so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. I have two sweet doggies named Leo & Sparky who are 7 and 8 years old! I am a stay at home mom, so I’m very used to having a busy routine centered around caring for others. I also have dogs of my own, and taking care of animals fits naturally into my everyday life. I’m comfortable with routines, schedules, feeding times, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. Im a mom and I have dogs of my own, so I’m pretty used to taking care of everyone and keeping up with a routine 😂. When I’m watching someone else’s pets, I really just treat them like they’re my own. I’ll follow whatever routine they’re used to, make sure they’re fed and let out, give them plenty of attention and playtime, and of course lots of cuddles if they’re into that. I’ll also respect your home and leave things the way I found them. I know I’d be nervous leaving my own pets with someone, so I want you to feel comfortable knowing they’re being loved and taken care of while you’re gone. 🐾❤️

About: I am a veterinary assistant (coming from a emergency and specialty hospital setting) with a background of animal boarding/daycare experience which includes basic grooming (nail trimming, anal gland expression, bathing...), training, and play. I'm comfortable and experienced with all types of animal behavior and am more than happy to accommodate special needs! I am skilled in dog and cat medication administration: intranasally, subcutaneously, orally, and intramuscularly. I am also RECOVER certified in dog/cat CPR BLS/ALS and well versed in handling animal emergencies and events. I am also comfortable with chicken (just chickens at this point in my career), rabbit, and guinea pig care including SQ, IM, and oral medication administration. I love animals and i'm elated to have the opportunity to take care of your babies! I'm currently a part-time worker at a general family vet practice and pick up shifts occasionally at an emergency veterinary hospital. My schedule is a little flexible due to this fact and my availability will reflect this! I do own two (2) cats of my own and will ask if your pet is comfortable with being left for maximum 2 hours at a time, no more than once a day so I can check up on them. This is for house sitting only. When visiting your home I'll be conscious of how your pet receives me. For bright, young puppies and kittens, I'll keep them entertained and stimulated for the length of my visit, making sure there is no signs of trouble or illness. I'll be sure to clean and sanitize myself before and after each visit with these puppies/kittens to ensure their safety and health. The same applies with young and old adult dogs and cats, taking into consideration the special needs that come with age.

“Nicole was fabulous! We have an almost 12-year old dog who can be a little skittish about having his harness put on. Nicole got him all setup and took him out on a walk where he was able to stretch his legs and sniff to his heart's content. Great photos and follow up. Excited to book with her again!”

Reagan G. was fantastic! She was punctual, super friendly, and my dogs were so happy with her. I could tell they felt safe and had a great time with her. Communication was smooth from start to finish. I will definitely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great pet sitter!

Chazney went above and beyond while taking care of my cats, and she even took care of the stray kitties I’ve been feeding. She had an excellent rapport with my cats, and her gentle approach convinced the shy ones to enjoy some petting. She gave special attention to each cat, and even noticed one had a sniffle and offered to give him his meds. She took excellent, multiple photos of each pet, and provided a detailed update after each visit. She was very conscientious about cleaning up and even offered to run the dishwasher during her last visit. I highly recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter!

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
