About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors labs, my relatives cats, and a friend’s german shepherd all since I was around 15! I’ve stayed overnight, but also have just visited to walk dogs. Even though we had a supervised meet and greet where my dog (Don, GSD) LOVED Gemma, he still refused to come out of his crate when she came to check on him alone. Gemma was kind and patient with him and didn't force him to leave his comfort zone, which is perfect for working with such a large and anxious dog! She kept me updated and didn't get discouraged by his behavior and I know in time, Don will warm up to her and be comfortable spending time with her while i'm away.
