About: I've grown up with dogs in my house for my whole life and helped neighbors out when needed. I've had dogs of all ages, ranging from puppies to seniors. In addition, I've helped out friends who have cats and often volunteer and local animal shelters with cats and dogs. At the moment, I have an extremely flexible schedule! I am available most days of the week, and I can shift around the majority of my plans if needed. Because I've grown up around dogs, I'm very experienced with dog care necessities including walking, feeding, crating, etc. Although I have never had a cat because my dad is allergic, I love cats and have helped friends take care of their fuzzy furballs more times than I can count. I love playing with animals, and I'm exciting to meet yours!

We were only gone for just a little over 24 hours but this was our first time using Rover and we were anxious about leaving our babies to a stranger! Immediately upon meeting Deb she assuaged those worries and felt like a family member that loves them as much as we do. She sent pictures for each drop-in visit with little updates about how they were doing and when we got back we could tell their little bowls had been cleaned and they had been well taken care of. Thank you Deb <3

Grace was amazing with our two cats! We received multiple daily updates, and she was so good at encouraging them to socialize with her. Our request was a bit last minute, and our boy had recently had some surgery, but Grace was extremely flexible and did a great job administering all of his medication as our vet prescribed. We can’t say enough amazing things about Grace! Will definitely be rebooking with her again.

About: I have taken care of pets since 10 years old. I personally have my own dog and the same love and care I have for him is the same care I show for other pets! I know how to teach basis skills such as sitting, waiting until next command and shaking paws! I am currently a student, so my schedule changes however I always have the mornings and evenings free. As well as the weekends for dog sitting or pop ins to walk or play with them. For the client’s home, if they have a certain way or procedure of taking care of their pets, I respect their requests and will follow it to the client’s comfortability. I just want to give care and love to the pets and make sure they are happy while being under care clients can depend on!

5 stars! This was our first time using Rover, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the start, she was a great communicator — quick to respond to messages before the visit. She arrived early and immediately made our dog Diego feel comfortable. After the visit, she sent us photos and video so we got to see him enjoying his time with her. Diego absolutely loved her, and honestly, so did we — even a quick 10-minute chat beforehand was enough to know we'd made the right choice.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Burlington choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Burlington with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Burlington. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
