About: My pet care experience comes from owning dogs, caring for family pets, and occasionally looking after friends’ pets when they need an extra helping hand. Being around animals has taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, and understanding that every pet has their own unique personality and needs. I’m happy to help with daily routines, feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, and plenty of love and attention. I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe and comfortable while you’re away, and I will treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. My goal is to give both pets and their owners peace of mind! I work full-time Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, so my pet care availability is primarily on weekends, with some flexibility for early morning visits between 6–7 AM and evenings after work. I’m happy to discuss occasional evening drop-ins or short house-sitting commitments that fit within my schedule. Since I have a dog of my own, I want to make sure I can give every pet the time, attention, and care they deserve while also keeping up with my own pup’s needs. I believe in being reliable, communicating clearly, and only accepting bookings I can fully commit to. I look forward to helping care for your furry family members when my schedule allows! When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping them comfortable by following their normal routines and respecting their familiar environment. I make sure they have fresh food and water, get plenty of attention, and have everything they need while their owners are away. I also respect each owner’s home and follow all care instructions carefully. I want both pets and their owners to feel comfortable and confident while they’re apart, and I love providing updates and photos for peace of mind!

About: I have loved, owned and cared for pets all my life (dogs, cats, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, mice, birds, fish, chickens). I have also volunteered for many pet-related organizations (SPCA, Wake County Animal Shelter, Second Chance Pet Adoption and the Guilford County Animal Shelter [GCAS]). I currently foster dogs for GCAS; all are strays or surrenders with unknown backgrounds and varying temperaments, some of whom I house train and teach to walk on a leash, and all of whom I shower with patience, love and affection. I am here to do the same for your pet: provide the love, personalized care and comfort that he and/or she deserves. I work from home (I am a freelancer with lots of free time), so I can easily adapt to pet needs, whether it be walks, enjoying/playing in the fenced-in backyard, and any schedules. Plus, my partner is retired and is at home much of the time, and he loves and dotes on pets just as much as I do. I have a fenced-in yard and pets can go out anytime they wish during the day/evening before bedtime. Plus, in the house, there are plenty of windows so dogs can see the world around them. Lastly, we live in a one-story home, so it's easy for pets of all ages to get around.

About: I love animals I’ve had variations of animals my whole life I currently have 2 cats , 2 ferrets and one ball python . I am a dog groomer and I want to expand my work and possibly offer home grooming for a reasonable price of course <3 I work full time at as a groomer at a local business but I’m available for over night boarding and weekend boarding (anytime after 5pm on weekdays) (anytime on weekends) I have two friendly cats that I adopted from my job so they are well used to dogs and have no issue with them or loud noises they are very sweet babies and for the most part stay out of the way

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, and am currently a proud dog mom to an energetic heeler. I have work experience at an animal shelter tending to special needs animals. I know all the best places to walk your pup/s! I am self-employed with a moderately flexible schedule. Walks and drop ins are a great fit for me and most days of the week I am available. I’m not set up to have other dogs in my home at the moment, but am happy to follow house rules in your home :)

About: Ive been around pets all my life! I started raising dogs when I was 11 and have helped friends and nieghbors with their dogs and cats since I was 15. Tasks have ranged from small check-ins with pets, to staying overnight to keep them company. Right now I work at a local food pantry on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sundays are also a busy day for me, but I can be very flexible and move times around with enough notice. I have one black short haired cat that I spend most of my time with. She stays indoors, but I let her come out on my back deck to get some air and a better view of the birds and chipmunks she always has beef with. She's the most hyperactive and persnicity cat I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, so I'm experienced with cats who have their own ways of playing.

About: I’ve been working in the Veterinary field for five years now and enjoyed every minute of it. Having dogs my entire life also played a big role in my love for fur babies. I’m here to to take care and love your pets as if they’re mine. I currently work at and animal hospital throughout the week, but have plenty of time to walk and take of your pet in my free time. My availability is open during the weekend. I have two large dogs at my home that stay in my fenced in yard, as well as two cats that live indoors only. I make sure they’re well fed and bathed throughout the year while always taking them for walks to socialize and get exercise.

About: My neighbors and family have always trusted me to watch their pets for them while they were on vacation or to just to let them out and pee/eat if they were going to be running late due to work. I love all four-legged babies no matter the size or age! You can trust your fur babies will be taken care of and get all the scratches ☺️ I’m currently in school so I have plenty of time to attend to your babies. Whether that’s just dropping in, playing, feeding, or if they’re staying over. Usually I’m available anytime after 12:30pm and some days 2:30pm depending on my school schedule. I have 1 cat who is okay with other animals. I’ve watched other people’s pets and he loves having a buddy around. Or I can check in with your pet at your house and whatever you’d like me to do for you!

About: I’m a dog mom to a 7-year-old American Pit Bull named Darcy! We rescued her in 2021, and she was pretty fearful when she first came into our home. Because of her, I have experience working with reactive and fearful dogs and understand that every dog has their own personality and comfort level. I grew up around dogs and have always helped family, friends, and neighbors take care of their pets. I’ve cared for puppies all the way to senior dogs, and I’m comfortable with everything from walks and daily drop-ins to overnight stays. I genuinely love being around dogs and will treat your pet like they’re my own! My schedule is currently very open, so I have lots of flexibility when it comes to walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays! I’m available during the week and on weekends, and I’m happy to work around your schedule whenever possible. I’m not able to bring another dog into my home because my dog, Darcy, doesn’t get along with other dogs. However, I would absolutely love to stay at your home and have a sleepover with your pup! I’m also happy to do drop-ins or walks throughout the day. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to trust someone else with your dog. I’ll always treat your dog with the same care and respect I would want for my own. Every dog is different, and I think it’s important to respect their personality, boundaries, and comfort level rather than expecting every dog to behave the same way. Whether I’m taking them for a walk, stopping by for a visit, or staying overnight, I’ll make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention, while also giving them space when they need it.

About: I love caring for animals, I grew up with a female Boston Terrier, a female Frenchie, and a pet rabbit. I enjoy running and long walks, which are perfect with a canine companion. I am often home on the weekends, which allows me the extra time to take care of friends and family’s pets. I am often home on the weekends after working 9-5 during the week. I can take my lunch break whenever so walks during the work day are available! I always want to make the pet comfortable with me; meeting them where they are and following the owners instructions are always the top priority!

About: Hi, I’m a part-time pet sitter with nearly a decade of experience caring for animals! It all started with my aunt and uncle, whose pets I’ve looked after for almost ten years. Over the years, they’ve had three wonderful dogs and a few guinea pigs, and I’ve loved every moment of caring for them. I also spent large parts of many summers dog sitting for my other aunt and uncle, who had three adorable Maltese pups—I was their go-to pet person whenever they traveled, and I cherished every minute with those sweet little fluffballs. Since then, I’ve become the go-to sitter for trusted friends and family. I regularly dog sit for a friend with two large dogs—I've cared for them three times now—and I’ve also helped her by letting the dogs out and feeding her cats when she’s away. I’ve also looked after my cousin’s two dogs on three separate occasions. As a teacher, I understand the importance of being dependable, attentive, and nurturing. I bring that same level of care and responsibility to every pet I look after. Whether it’s a quick check-in or an extended stay, I treat every animal like they’re part of my own family. In the past, I have pet sat in the summer but I am currently trying to make this a full time gig! I can stay at your home to make those morning and evening potty breaks a breeze, and during the day, I’ll never be gone for more than 6 hours—because your pet’s comfort is my top priority (and let’s be honest, I miss them too much to stay away any longer!). Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. When I’m in a client’s home, I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and stress-free in their familiar environment. I prefer working with homes that have a fenced yard to ensure dogs can enjoy outdoor time without the risk of getting loose. I'm comfortable feeding pets, administering medication if needed, and of course—providing plenty of cuddles, playtime, and attention. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always aim to keep their routine as consistent and comforting as possible.

About: I have been taking care of animals from a very young age. I currently have a chihuahua and coonhound of my own who are the stars of my house. I also work at a dog boarding and lodging facility in Chapel Hill that I adore (have been there for 5+ years). I work four days a week at a boarding / daycare facility, so weekend pet care fits seamlessly into my routine. My schedule is wide open for any little friend who needs someone to hangout with for an afternoon or overnight. I love exploring local parks and walking trails. I frequently stay with pets in their own home, as opposed to my own, but I’m open to boarding if we can orchestrate a meet and greet between our pups beforehand.

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for family pets and about 7 years of hands on experience training and caring for my own dogs. I currently have a small Maltese/Yorkie mix and i understand that every dog has their own personality, energy level, and needs. I’m naturally fun and high functioning energy, so I’m comfortable keeping up with active dogs, but I’d say patience is one of my biggest strengths. Working in healthcare has taught me how important patience, attentiveness, and compassion are, and I bring that same approach when caring for animals. I work PRN(as needed) in healthcare, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to have plenty of time to give your pet the attention and care they deserve. My availability can vary week to week, but I’m able to plan my schedule around pet care and make sure your pet gets plenty of playtime, walks, and companionship. I live in a one-bedroom apartment with access to a dog park, a large open field directly in front of my complex, and several nearby walking trails. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and given plenty of opportunities for exercise and outdoor time. I’ll also follow any routines, feeding instructions, or special care preferences you provide so your pet feels as comfortable and safe as possible.
