“Erika was exceptional! She took care of our two cats for 6 days and did a wonderful job. She was reliable, consistent, and responsive. She sent us daily photos, and it put our minds at ease just knowing our kitties were being well cared for by her. She even checked in to ensure we were back home so that the cats had continued care. I highly recommend her services and would rebook with her again for sure.”

About: Besides the normal care giving needed for your dog or cat I am able to administer medications and injections to animals if required. I am a retired nurse. Have always had pets in my life whom I’ve cared for and loved. I am very flexible as I am retired. I am available any day of the week as long as I’m not already booked. I am open to holidays as well. Your dog or kitty under my care would have my undivided attention. Safety would be number one on my checklist. Making your pet feel secure and loved would also be on that list just as if they were my own.
“Candice was AMAZING to me and my two cats. My animal kingdom is fairly new, and she made me feel so comfortable about leaving them in her care. My cats love her and I will definitely be booking again! Thank you, Candice and happy New Year!”

About: Hannah: My friends and family rely on me to care for their pets when they’re out of town. I will provide the best service so that your pet barely notices you’re gone and has a great time! Our Mission: Our mission is to provide exceptional and compassionate care that prioritizes the well-being, happiness, and safety of your pets. We strive to build strong and trusting relationships with both pets and their owners by consistently providing personalized care and peace of mind. Hannah: I strive to make pet sitting my central focus. I’m an online college student at Arizona State University which allows me the flexibility to travel and provide care as needed. Hannah: I am respectful of other peoples property and I provide the love your animal is missing while you’re gone. I love ensuring your high energy pets get the exercise and stimulation they require.
“Kelly did a great job! My babes can be a little shy at first but she was patient and they warmed right up. She spent the full scheduled time with them and sent pictures every day. I’ll definitely request her again!”

About: I've owned dogs and taken care of pets for neighbors, friends, and family members since I was 6. I have experience training puppies and am prepared to provide enrichment for high energy, low energy, young, and old pets alike. I love them all. I am currently a masters student at UNCG. I have classes on Monday and Wednesday and work with various performance groups throughout the week. My schedule is variable, so even though I am busy there are a lot of moments in between my daily tasks that allow for attention to be extended to a pet. In client's homes, I am respectful of any rules and protocol you'd like me to follow. I will stay in designated areas and follow any instructions you leave for me. If you pet is visiting me I don't have a yard, but I live in a quiet and very walkable neighborhood. I am on the ground floor of a house, so there are no risks associated with a deck or being multiple floors up in a building. Pets are welcome in all areas of my space, including on the furniture, unless you have a rule at home you would like me to reinforce as well. In my own home, pets are an extension of the family and are treated as such. I am an active person and would love to provide long walks, hiking, lake visits, and more with the permission of pet parents.
“We have used Julie and Jay every time we leave town without our dogs for the last two years. They go above and beyond in taking care of our girls. Highly recommend them both!”

“Pri did a great job for us. I can tell she spent time with Willow because now that we're home, Willow will not stop crying to be pet. She is expecting the quality time that Pri gave her from us. That tells me she liked Pri. We will definitely use Pri again.”

“America was very responsible and she has take good care of my kitties when we were out of town. My cats usually go hiding when meeting new people but they get along with America right away :)”

Justin has been very attentive, informative, and helpful. My puppy can be a bit of handful but Justin watched him and sent me some of the things I should keep kn mind for the vet. He also kept me updated on Crash and his mood. Be bad separation anxiety very badly I have been learning the more I go out of town sometimes. I can’t wait to book with Justin again
Caley was amazing! Sorry just leaving this review- busy life! Caley wrangled and gave much attention to my two energetic babies!! I secured her services on short notice AND she went above and beyond. She was a great communicator- with lots of details. She understands that dogs are dogs and do dog things! Thank you so much Caley! I hope you will come back again.

Arden has been so great with our puppy. We are still working on potty training and he’s very young so accidents still happen. Arden has cleaned up any potty accidents and works on emphasizing good potty habits when she is with our puppy. She also always takes him out to play to help get some energy out. We are so grateful we found her!

Madison has been an exceptional caretaker for my two Siberian huskies. From the moment she began working with them, her warmth, kindness, and natural connection with animals were immediately evident. She is incredibly dependable and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure my dogs are not only well cared for but genuinely happy. Her gentle demeanor and intuitive understanding of animal behavior have made a noticeable difference in my dogs’ mood and energy. They truly enjoy being around her, and it’s clear that she brings out the best in them. Madison has a special way with animals—one that fosters trust, comfort, and joy. I’m very pleased with the care she’s provided so far and feel confident knowing my dogs are in such capable and compassionate hands. I highly recommend Madison to anyone seeking a reliable and loving pet caretaker.

Alex dropped in to feed Big B and let him outside afterwards. He was great with B.J. and wasn’t intimidated by his size, excitement AND hair at all. He gave him lots of attention which B.J. absolutely loves. I have a Rat Terrier Chihuahua mix who was wary of him at first, but he informed me that he eventually warmed up to him. I will certainly request his services whenever I need a good dog sitter.

Georgia was a natural with Molly! Molly came right up to her in her first meeting and fell in love immediately. Georgia was very thorough and consistent with timing, updates and pictures! I can tell that Molly already misses her and we will definitely have Georgia back in the future!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
