I have taken care of pets for many years now and love dogs and cats! I hope I can take care of your pets! I’m currently working part time at a golf course and this would work perfectly to allow me to work and do what I love all while being around animals! I let my dogs out at least every 2-4 hours. And feed them right at 7:30 in the morning and then at 6 in the evening. I also take my dogs for 2 walks a day, one walk in the morning and one walk in the evening.

About: I’ve owned dogs since I was 18 and currently own a cat. I have also dog sat/walked for friends and family. I am comfortable administering any medications needed, as I have experience. I’m currently in graduate school so my schedule is free during the holidays, however my classes only happen on Mondays and Wednesdays. I am also happy to do some weekends if I am available! I live in an apartment building with a fence surrounding the areas. I also live close to parks and places to walk any furry friends!

About: I have had my own dogs since I was 5 years old, so I am intimately familiar with caring for pups (grooming, feeding, giving medications, walking, playing, training). I also spent almost all of high school volunteering at the Durham County Animal Shelter, where I interacted with all kinds of dogs (walking, playing, providing enrichment) and cared for cats (cleaning cages, socializing). I am a college sophomore, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am available throughout the week and most weekends for walks, drop-ins, and house-sitting during the school year. When in your home, I ensure any directions given are followed to the best of my ability and double check everything is done correctly before I leave. I’m not hesitant to ask questions when needed! I double check doors on my way out, and for walks ensure everything is fitted correctly. I have a leash-reactive dog myself, so I am comfortable redirecting or moving away from a situation that could escalate.

About: Besides the normal care giving needed for your dog or cat I am able to administer medications and injections to animals if required. I am a retired nurse. Have always had pets in my life whom I’ve cared for and loved. I am very flexible as I am retired. I am available any day of the week as long as I’m not already booked. I am open to holidays as well. Your dog or kitty under my care would have my undivided attention. Safety would be number one on my checklist. Making your pet feel secure and loved would also be on that list just as if they were my own.
