About: As it usually goes, growing up my family always owned dogs, from German Shepherds to Chihuahua mixes. I follow up my personal experience with 6 years of professional experience working at various dog boarding/daycare facilities and veterinary hospitals. Before moving to North Carolina, I lived in Iowa where 3 years ago I was given the opportunity to a apprenticeship at Fowl Water Outdoors, afterwards I was then given the opportunity to a job training at Lakota Creek Kennels. Along with my background, I am pet CPR/first aid certified and able to provide a background check along with several references. I have four of my own pets. Zeus, a 6 year old German Shepherd who I have dabbled in fast CAT and AKC scent work with. Zeppy, a 1 year old Belgian Malinois I am training in the bite sport of PSA with. LaRue, a 6 month old Standard Poodle who has big shoes to fill as a hunting companion. And Maly, my 1 year old Siamese cat. Previously I owned a Dutch Shepherd who I trained in the bite sport of PSA with as well, I am certainly partial to the Shepherds. In my teen years I owned a few rabbits, a couple Mini Lops, an English Angora, and would love the opportunity to care for rabbits again! Big or small, dogs to bunnies, they are loved all the same and I look forward to taking care of your beloved pets! Currently my schedule is wide open for dog walking, adventure walks, and drop-in visits from 7am-9pm Monday through Friday, as well as boarding! I have a 2 bedroom townhome without a fenced yard so dogs are required to be leashed. However we will still get plenty of exercise in through play, walks, and on leash hikes! Having a spare bedroom allows me to easily accommodate pets who may not get along with others, or simply enjoy having their own private, calm, and quiet space.

About: I have had dogs all my life - all sizes & breeds. I specialize in smaller size breeds. I currently have 2 Miniature Schnauzers and they are my “children” and are spoiled rotten as will your baby when they are here. Dogs are not crated unless otherwise told. Pups are able to sleep where they feel most comfortable and if allowed homemade treats are given. They will be pampered & spoiled while they are home away from home. I am flexible and reliable and try to eliminate stress for all involved. If medication is needed, I am trained in oral as well as giving injections. Homemade treats for our precious babies are provided. Only the best. I work a hybrid schedule so I am home full time Thursday thru Sunday. Monday thru Wednesday I am in the office but home starting at 5:30 pm till morning. Fur babies are always supervised. Long walks are taken in the evening along with shorter ones thru the day. Nice wilderness trail to explore in addition to a park down the road for the more adventurous. Grassy areas close for those quick walks then in the evenings a nice safe walk around the neighborhood.

I’m organized and plan ahead to make sure I have enough time to give each pet the attention and care they deserve. I follow each pet parent’s instructions and routines closely, including feeding, walks, medications if needed, and playtime. I’m very observant and will communicate with you if I notice anything unusual. About: I have had my own dogs since I was 5 years old, so I am intimately familiar with caring for pups (grooming, feeding, giving medications, walking, playing, training). I also spent almost all of high school volunteering at the Durham County Animal Shelter, where I interacted with all kinds of dogs (walking, playing, providing enrichment) and cared for cats (cleaning cages, socializing). I have been petsitting professionally for 5 years, and have learned a ton interacting with all kinds of pets and situations! I am a college sophomore, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am available throughout the week and most weekends for walks, drop-ins, and house-sitting during the school year. When in your home, I ensure any directions given are followed to the best of my ability and double check everything is done correctly before I leave. I’m not hesitant to ask questions when needed! I double check doors on my way out, and for walks ensure everything is fitted correctly. I have a leash-reactive dog myself, so I am comfortable redirecting or moving away from a situation that could escalate.
About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and reptiles, including my own senior dog before she passed. I have experience in the medical field and am comfortable with giving medication orally and via injection if needed. I am comfortable caring for all ages of pets from puppies and kittens to seniors. Currently the only pet in my home is my senior bearded dragon who has an enclosure with a lid. I have just started a new job Mon-Thurs, and am available to give your fur babies all the love on the weekends or during the week if your pet is okay being alone for about 8 hours. I live on the edge of downtown and walk through Fisher Park at least once daily. I don't have a proper fenced in yard, as it is shared between several houses, but there is space for a potty break. I live in a fairly busy area so if you dog is noise reactive I probably am not the right fit for you.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had more than the average number of pets, which gave me extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Over the last six years, my family has owned and operated Cedar Brook German Shepherds, where I have helped care for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs while helping them find loving homes. About: I was a zookeeper for 15+ years and have experience with a plethora of species. I have fostered animals of all kinds through different rescue organizations. I am a large breed person who currently has a smaller dog and cat. I spent many of my zookeeping years training animals, and have experience with strong stubborn dog breeds. I thoroughly enjoy a senior pet who will cuddle on the couch while I drink my coffee. I currently work from 9-1:30, with a spouse that works from home. My schedule allows plenty of time for morning walks and afternoon love and care. I am available for boarding most days, and dog walking, house checks in afternoons. A large portion of my yard is fenced so there is plenty of room for your dogs to stretch their legs outside of walks. I have a 30lb senior dog at home who occasionally enjoys a new companion. Otherwise my children love animals and always enjoy a new playmate, while being respectful of their boundaries. I prefer crating dogs whenever we are not home, at least until we know them and how they interact with my pets. I have crates from small to XXL so no need to bring your own.
