About: I am a communicative, reliable animal lover who has cared for dogs and cats for years. I look forward to meeting and caring for your fur babies! I’m currently a fourth-year medical student at UNC interviewing for Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency programs. I have a lot of flexibility with my current schedule from now through May 2024. I will work to maintain your pet’s daily schedule. I live in a 3-bedroom home near Lake Daniel, a park that is a great place for walks.

“I have known Laura her whole life. She got her own dog at age 11. She took training classes at that young age to learn how to train him properly. She preceded to care for the neighbors pets for years and still does when she comes home from college. She loves animals and is very good with all kinds of animals from cats dogs, lizards, hamsters...you name it. She has also worked at Petsuites for almost 2 years. She likes to be around animals and finds caring for them therapeutic. I have personally seen her handle all kinds of dogs from big to small to ones that can even be difficult to handle. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring person to care for your animal.”

About: I grew up on a farm so I am very comfortable with all types of animals! I have had dogs my whole life, and have taken care of any of my friends pets when needed! I also have my own fluffy baby, Maylee, she is a 75 lbs great Pyrenees golden retriever mix :) My schedule is pretty open during the week days, so any time you need someone to let your furry baby out I can be there! Depending on your pets needs I am more than willing to go above and beyond to care for them! I am very comfortable walking large breed and small breed dogs. Or letting them run around your yard!

“Emi was so wonderful! I requested she help care for my sweet doggy dude, Hei Hei, multiple times over a holiday weekend. She went above and beyond that. Hei Hei is deaf and reactive. Emi learned the hand signals used to communicate with Hei Hei and asked about his triggers. She sent updates and adorable pictures of my sweet boy on every walk. Emi showed great care for Hei Hei and when he wasn't eating much over the weekend she offered him a healthy (approved) alternative so he wouldn't be hungry. Hei Hei and I are very grateful for her caring for him!”

About: I’ve had a dog for 13 years so that experience in itself allowed me to learn first-hand what it’s like taking care of a pet. Over the last 10 years I have also had neighbors, family, and friends trust me to take care of their pets. I am a student and all of my classes end pretty early so I will have time to take care of your pet throughout my day. I will care for your pets by providing them with walks and play to make sure they are getting plenty of outside time, as well as providing them with stimulating activities to prevent boredom and to provide enrichment.
