About: I’ve cared for friends’ cats and dogs for more than 10 years and currently have five cats, including semi-feral and medically sensitive pets. I’m comfortable following medication, special-diet, feeding, and communication-button routines. I stay calm in unexpected situations and respond with patience and reassurance so pets feel safe and understood. I provide walks, drop-ins, feedings, litter-box care, medication support, playtime, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. most days. Every visit includes a thoughtful update and photos so you know how they’re doing. Due to owning semi-feral cats, I do not care for pets in my own home. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their normal environment and routines.

Honored to be the friend they call first to sit for their dogs and cats. I also have a lovely partner who is a doctor of veterinary medicine for Banfield Hospitals here in GSO. He has taught me so much more on the everyday care for our furry friends. I am so excited to extend my love and care to your pets! ** Disclaimer ** Proof of up to date rabies vaccine is required for all pets. That includes paper work and the tag. This is to insure the safety of your pets and mine. Booking will not be accepted until it is provided. “Flora was wonderful! She took such good care of my Lulu who is 13 and 1/2 and is very sick. She was very caring and gentle with her. I felt really secure in leaving my little girl in her hands. Everyone should hire this young lady!”
“Nakia was very attentive to Flacka’s needs and went the extra mile to make him feel comfortable to eat and drink while we are away! She really made me comfortable being away from him.”

I have taken care of pets for many years now and love dogs and cats! I hope I can take care of your pets! And feed them right at 7:30 in the morning and then at 6 in the evening. I also take my dogs for 2 walks a day, one walk in the morning and one walk in the evening.

I am open to working with all breeds of dogs, including and particularly squishy bully breeds. I’ve worked with multiple pet personality types, such as timid or nervous pets. I have flexible availability and I am available for house-sitting in the form of multiple visits over the course of your time away, but I am not available to stay overnight. “Sarah was wonderful! I loved receiving videos and pictures of my dog, Bartley, playing in the backyard! I was in town for a few days for work training and was very grateful to have come across Sara, here on Rover! If I’m ever back in the area, she will be the first person I call! Thank you!”

About: Hi, I’m Cheyanne - I am 100% dedicated to making your pup feel loved and safe while you're away! Whether your fur baby is a zoomie-loving puppy or a wise old snuggler, I tailor my care to their personality and needs. I have experience with simple training commands and potty training. I love to take my pup-friends on walks or even snuggle in bed on a cozy day. If you're needing updates while you're away... you got it! I’ll keep you in the loop with photos and notes so you know your pup is happy and well cared for. Can’t wait to meet your four-legged friend! I am currently on summer break and am seeking to pour a little extra doggo love into my time while preparing to start my new job! I aim to keep their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible. I take time to learn their feeding schedule, walk routine, favorite toys, and I stick to it closely. In my home, dogs get a cozy space to relax, plenty of playtime, and, of course, lots of love and attention. I provide regular potty breaks, fresh water, and plenty of belly rubs!
About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and reptiles, including my own senior dog before she passed. I have experience in the medical field and am comfortable with giving medication orally and via injection if needed. I am comfortable caring for all ages of pets from puppies and kittens to seniors. Currently the only pet in my home is my senior bearded dragon who has an enclosure with a lid. I have just started a new job Mon-Thurs, and am available to give your fur babies all the love on the weekends or during the week if your pet is okay being alone for about 8 hours. I live on the edge of downtown and walk through Fisher Park at least once daily. I don't have a proper fenced in yard, as it is shared between several houses, but there is space for a potty break. I live in a fairly busy area so if you dog is noise reactive I probably am not the right fit for you.

“Pri was great with Max. He’s always excited to meet new people and because he’s so strong he can be a lot to handle but she was totally in charge. She showed him much love, I will definitely be using her again”
“Sarah has been excellent at helping Polly adjust to a new home. Polly is a shelter dog who came home very sick, so it's been a relief to know that Sarah will be checking on her while I'm at work. She's been a big part of Polly's recovery. She's reliable, kind, and caring, and is great at communicating. I highly recommend her!”

Flora is amazing! Super flexible, communicative, responsible, and our dog Squini absolutely loved her -- apparently so much that he started whining in anticipation when it was time for his daily Flora walk :) It was a huge relief to know that he was in such good hands while we were out of town, and we appreciated her daily updates. I noticed she even varied the walks to keep things interesting for Squini. Flora absolutely deserves her star sitter rating!

Chris was a total professional. He exceeded any expectations we had about hiring a dog walker. He was a great communicator, always on time and accommodating for any adjustment I may have had. I highly and confidently recommend him for any of your dog’s needs. Our dog already misses him and grew very fond of Chris. We will always ask for Chris in the future.

Megan is awesome! She's been walking Dash for a year now and it's been great. She's very communicative, responsive, and reliable. I get pictures from walks and she's easy to coordinate schedules with. Dash loves her and he's well-taken care of with her. I'm so glad I found someone I can trust with my boy!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
