About: As an aspiring veterinarian and Animal Science student, I've always had a passion for caring for animals. I've been the proud owner of my Shih Tzu for nearly 7 years, giving me firsthand experience with daily care, grooming, exercise, and understanding a dog's unique needs. I also regularly assist in caring for a well-loved Goldendoodle whenever his owner is away, making sure he stays on his normal routine, gets plenty of attention, and feels comfortable while his family is gone. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always strive to provide safe, loving, and reliable care. I'm currently an Animal Science student, so my class schedule includes breaks throughout the day that give me flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, and spending quality time with your pets. I'm also a member of a cheer team, but I plan my schedule carefully and will always make sure your pet's needs are met. I understand how important routines, attention, and reliability are, and I'm committed to providing dependable care and keeping you updated while you're away. I understand that trusting someone with your pet and your home is a big decision, and I know that trust is something that's earned over time. Their safety, comfort, and well-being will always be my top priority. I also understand that being away from their owners can be stressful for many pets. About: I've owned dogs and taken care of pets for neighbors, friends, and family members since I was 6. I have experience training puppies and am prepared to provide enrichment for high energy, low energy, young, and old pets alike. I love them all. I am currently a masters student at UNCG. I have classes on Monday and Wednesday and work with various performance groups throughout the week. My schedule is variable, so even though I am busy there are a lot of moments in between my daily tasks that allow for attention to be extended to a pet. In client's homes, I am respectful of any rules and protocol you'd like me to follow. I will stay in designated areas and follow any instructions you leave for me. If your pet is visiting me I don't have a yard, but I live in a quiet and very walkable neighborhood. I am on the ground floor of a house, so there are no risks associated with a deck or being multiple floors up in a building. Pets are welcome in all areas of my space, including on the furniture, unless you have a rule at home you would like me to reinforce as well. In my own home, pets are an extension of the family and are treated as such. I am an active person and would love to provide long walks, hiking, lake visits, and more with the permission of pet parents.

About: I grew up with cats and now as an adult have owned dogs for 20 years. I also foster dogs for Red Dog Farm. I’ve taken care of everything from potty trainings puppies to senior dogs that need daily medication. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I’m generally available a few hours each weekday and most of the day on Wednesdays and Fridays. I can help on some weekends as needed. I have a large fenced in yard and great walking trails near my house if your dog is boarding with me. We don’t have pets of our own right now so your pup would receive my full attention. About: I have had my own dogs since I was 5 years old, so I am intimately familiar with caring for pups (grooming, feeding, giving medications, walking, playing, training). I also spent almost all of high school volunteering at the Durham County Animal Shelter, where I interacted with all kinds of dogs (walking, playing, providing enrichment) and cared for cats (cleaning cages, socializing). I have been petsitting professionally for 5 years, and have learned a ton interacting with all kinds of pets and situations! I am a college sophomore, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am available throughout the week and most weekends for walks, drop-ins, and house-sitting during the school year. When in your home, I ensure any directions given are followed to the best of my ability and double check everything is done correctly before I leave. I’m not hesitant to ask questions when needed! I double check doors on my way out, and for walks ensure everything is fitted correctly. I have a leash-reactive dog myself, so I am comfortable redirecting or moving away from a situation that could escalate.

About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and reptiles, including my own senior dog before she passed. I have experience in the medical field and am comfortable with giving medication orally and via injection if needed. I am comfortable caring for all ages of pets from puppies and kittens to seniors. Currently the only pet in my home is my senior bearded dragon who has an enclosure with a lid. I have just started a new job Mon-Thurs, and am available to give your fur babies all the love on the weekends or during the week if your pet is okay being alone for about 8 hours. I live on the edge of downtown and walk through Fisher Park at least once daily. I don't have a proper fenced in yard, as it is shared between several houses, but there is space for a potty break. I live in a fairly busy area so if you dog is noise reactive I probably am not the right fit for you.

About: I have 12 years of experience taking care of both cats and dogs of all sizes and multiple breeds. I have previous experience fostering cats, dogs, small pets, and exotics. I am open to working with all breeds of dogs, including and particularly squishy bully breeds. I am comfortable with both standard dog or cat care as well as additional care for pets with special needs, such as giving medication. I’ve worked with multiple pet personality types, such as timid or nervous pets. I have flexible availability and I am available for house-sitting in the form of multiple visits over the course of your time away, but I am not available to stay overnight. I'm able to give plenty of time to go at the pet's pace, administer most medications, and tailor care to suite different personalities and needs.
