About: I've worked with all kinds of animals from the age of 10 and onwards. Whether it be helping elderly neighbors with their high energy dogs or being there for elderly unloved cats at local shelters, I'm happy to take care of any size, needs, or energy levels of your pets. I'm currently a student at a nearby university. As a full time student, I'm most available in the afternoons on weekdays and midday on weekends. However, my schedule is constantly changing so I'm very flexible! I'm very comfortable accommodating any length of walk your dog may need, whether that be 30 min or 90 min. I always make sure to take with me on the go water bowls and water, waste bags, and any treats. I'm also happy to send any photos and pet updates as requested.

About: I was raised around cats and dogs since before I could walk, I absolutely adore animals however at the moment it unfortunately doesn’t make sense to get pets of my own. That’s why I love taking care of other people’s pets! Prior to making this account on Rover, I volunteered at an animal shelter and have dog sat/walked for friends and family and completely fell in love with this line of line of work. I’ll happily play fetch or take your dog on a hike. I’d love to brush out your cat’s coat and entertain them with toys. I have experience making frozen enrichment activities for the shelter dogs as well. I would love to meet your furry family and sincerely promise they will be cared for with the love and respect that family members deserve. I have a very flexible schedule, I’m practically going to be there when you need me with in reason of course. Just about anything in my life can be moved around to accommodate you if I have enough notice. Things always come up and life is unpredictable so as long as we are both understanding of that for each other all will be well. Give me your rule book for your pets and I will follow it. I love going on walking trails so if you felt comfortable with your dog leaving the home I’d be ecstatic to take them on an adventure. Like I’ve said before, your pets will be treated as my family. I will advocate for your animals and protect them in every way that I can.

I am happy to take your dog on walks, to the dog park, or take them outside to play! I am experienced with and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I am currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to fit your furry family into my schedule. Whether this be overnight or check ins throughout the day! About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I spent time on my grandfather’s farm, helping care for all kinds of animals, which taught me patience and responsibility from a young age. Over the years, I’ve also raised my own dogs from the puppy stage, so I’m very comfortable with training, housebreaking, and giving lots of love and attention to growing pets. Because of this experience, I’m confident caring for pets of all ages and temperaments, including seniors who need a little extra patience and care. I treat every pet like part of my family, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care is my priority and a big part of my everyday life. I have a very flexible schedule and am always available to give pets the attention they need. I plan my days around walks, feeding times, and playtime, making sure every pet feels cared for and safe. Whether it’s early morning potty breaks, midday walks, or late night cuddles, I’m available and ready to make pets feel at home. I live in a spacious, pet friendly apartment in a safe and quiet neighborhood, which makes it perfect for dogs to relax and feel at home. I keep my space clean, cozy, and pet proof, and there’s plenty of room for play and rest. When pets stay with me, they get lots of love, attention, and structured potty breaks. I enjoy going on regular walks around my neighborhood, which is calm and great for exercise. I make sure to stick to each pet’s normal routine for meals, bathroom breaks, playtime, and bedtime so they feel comfortable and secure. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their exact instructions to keep pets happy and stress free. I make sure food, water, and medication schedules are followed closely, and I send regular updates and pictures so owners feel at ease while they’re away.

Hailey and Destini were fantastic with our dog! It was clear they truly care about animals and take their role seriously. They were punctual, communicative, and went above and beyond to make sure our pup was happy and well cared for. We got regular updates (with adorable photos!), which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dog seemed relaxed and content when we returned — a true sign of great care. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again. Highly recommended!

Grace was amazing with our two cats! We received multiple daily updates, and she was so good at encouraging them to socialize with her. Our request was a bit last minute, and our boy had recently had some surgery, but Grace was extremely flexible and did a great job administering all of his medication as our vet prescribed. We can’t say enough amazing things about Grace! Will definitely be rebooking with her again.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Whitsett. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 94% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
