“Debbie was AMAZING! I cannot say enough about the way she cared for our kittens. These were kittens we found two weeks before our vacation and had no idea what we were going to do with them while we were gone. Once we found her and we knew that they would be in her care, it was nothing but relief and confidence in the care that she gave them. I will recommend her to anyone I know and definitely be using her services again. For all of my pets. Her attention to detail was just amazing and I could see how much she truly cared for my babies. The updates she gave us were great and a lot of fun. We loved the pictures that she took as well.”

“This was our second booking, and my animals adore Jessica, it was seen when she came to pick up the key before our trip! She is very communicative about what is going on with the animals while we are gone, and gives us the peace of mind that our animals are being loved while we’re away.”

“Shelby M. does a great job with my cat, Bailey. She is reliable, consistent and conscientious and Bailey really seems to love her attention, brushing & treats😻. I’m so happy I found Shelby!!!”

“I have worked with Jennifer twice now and I would still give her 5-stars!! She is great with my older kitty with kidney disease. She sometimes stays long enough to let him get out onto my balcony and soak up some sun. I would highly recommend her!!”
“Cynthia is AMAZING. From keeping us up to date with our dogs, to bringing in packages left on the porch, to clear and fast communication, I would recommend Cynthia to anyone looking for a pet sitter. It’s scary having outsourced online help. Cynthia has made our experience transitioning to Rover smooth and stress free. My fiancé and I have consistently rebooked with Cynthia and don’t plan to book with anyone else.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a kid and I trained my dog and many other family/friends pets! I’ve had my dog for 9 years. I currently work part time throughout the week and I include and care for my dog any time I am at home. She loves outdoors! I am sure to keep my dog on a leash at all time she is not home and pick up as we go! I also like wiping after going outside.
“I’m so happy I booked Jessica! She did a great job checking on my 6 month old puppy, who has lots of specific needs. You can tell she really loves dogs and goes the extra mile to make sure their needs are met and they’re feeling loved!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life and have been actively involved in caring for them from a young age. Through owning dogs and helping with their daily care, I've gained experience with feeding, walking, exercise, playtime, and providing lots of attention and affection. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I strive to provide a safe, loving, and reliable environment so both pets and their owners feel comfortable and confident in my care. I have open availability Monday - Friday and can provide care throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and overnight stays if needed. Im flexible and happy to work with pet owners to meet their pets' schedules and routines. I treat every pet as if they were my own and will keep you updated with messages and photos so you feel comfortable and confident that your furry baby is in good hands. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!

About: I've grown up with dogs in my house for my whole life and helped neighbors out when needed. I've had dogs of all ages, ranging from puppies to seniors. In addition, I've helped out friends who have cats and often volunteer and local animal shelters with cats and dogs. At the moment, I have an extremely flexible schedule! I am available most days of the week, and I can shift around the majority of my plans if needed. Because I've grown up around dogs, I'm very experienced with dog care necessities including walking, feeding, crating, etc. Although I have never had a cat because my dad is allergic, I love cats and have helped friends take care of their fuzzy furballs more times than I can count. I love playing with animals, and I'm exciting to meet yours!
About: We’re a dependable husband-and-wife team, so your pets get double the love, attention, and care. As owners of two doodles ourselves, we understand the energy, routine, and patience dogs need at every stage of life. We’ve cared for cats, senior dogs, and puppies, including training our own, so we’re comfortable with everything from playful zoomies to slower-paced senior care. Our goal is to make your pets feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into our routine because we already have two dogs of our own and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Since we both work full time during the week, we focus on providing dependable weekend drop-in visits where pets get plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, fresh water, feeding if needed, and lots of care while you’re away. For drop-ins and walks, we focus on making pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. During visits, we provide potty breaks, fresh water, feeding if needed, playtime, and plenty of attention. Walks are tailored to each dog’s energy level and personality, whether they enjoy a relaxed stroll or a more active walk. We also make sure owners stay updated with photos and messages for peace of mind.
About: I have some experience taking care of dogs. I once pet sit two cats and two to four dogs for one neighbor. Other than feeding dogs and checking water, I am open to walking small to medium-sized dogs. I currently work full time, Monday through Thursdays from 2:00pm to 12:30am. I am available for pet care before noon on weekdays, and all day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I used to have one senior cat in my apartment in which my main duties were feeding it, checking her water, scooping her litter box, and most importantly playing with her.
“Ashley was amazing from the time of the booking to her coming in to check on Goose. It was my first time using Rover and Ashley went above and beyond for my puppy and easing my anxieties. She’s amazing!!”

Shelby does an excellent job with my cat, Bailey! She recently reported on a storm that flipped a chair on the balcony & blew to plants off their stands. She cleaned up and put everything back in order. She also let me know about a large hairball my cat vomited up and cleaned that up as well! Bailey & I both love Shelby❤️

The kitties seemed very content when I arrived back home. That's always a good sign! Jessica went beyond what was necessary to insure all of the bowls, utensils, and other stuff was neatly rinsed and stacked in the kitchen sink. Will definitely mark Jessica as my go to Rover person!
Angel is AMAZING!! While I was out of travel she was always on time and sent me photos of my Milo when she came by to visit. She loving, caring, and made sure that Milo was comfortable while I was away also kept me updated with his report on how his visit went. I would 100% recommend her as a sitter and plan to use her in the upcoming future

I’m once again so grateful for Kathy and how she takes care of my fur babies. She is consistent with checking in and providing photos. Kathy always goes above and beyond and even brings our mail in and takes the trash to the curb. The house is pristine when I arrive home and my babies are happy and healthy. They love their “Aunt Kathy”!

I can’t thank Kristi enough for the love and care she gave my pup while I was away. From regular updates and adorable photos to thoughtful attention to my dog’s needs and routine, I truly felt at ease the whole time. Highly recommend to any pet parent looking for peace of mind and genuine care!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
