Hello pet owners! I am Shelby (she/her) and I moved to Burlington in 2022. l grew up with a Yorkshire Terrier and have experience caring for pets of all sizes and breeds. I have been providing services on Rover since December 2024. I have a calm and gentle demeanor, which helps me to gain trust with animals easily, including senior animals and those who are prone to separation anxiety. I am happy to accommodate special requests to cater to your specific needs. I am located near Mackintosh Lake in Burlington, but am willing and able to travel to Elon, Gibsonville, Whitsett, Graham, Haw River, and surrounding areas. I enjoy spending quality time caring for pets, taking great photos, as well as assisting with training or developmental goals.

We had such a wonderful experience with Shelby! She was incredibly kind, trustworthy, and caring, and we felt completely comfortable knowing our pup was in such great hands. She kept us updated with pictures and messages, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our Shih Tzu was happy and well cared for when we got home, and we have Shelby to thank for that! We would absolutely recommend her and will definitely be booking with her again!

Shelby is fantastic! She provides excellent photo updates including pictures of the food bowls, our cat, where she's left our key (by request) etc. We feel so confident our cat is well taken care of when Shelby comes to check in on her. She also brought in our packages which was really appreciated. We highly recommend her!

Schedule
I work remotely in Higher Education/Property Management and have plenty of flexibility in my schedule, including early mornings, lunch, evenings, and weekends to drop in, play, or walk with your pet.
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbsShelby can host up to 5 drop-ins per day
- I would like to know your pet’s allergies and any relevant medical conditions. It will also be helpful for me to know any specific goals or favorite locations for walks. Additionally, please let me know if there are any other animals in the home and schedule a meet & greet prior to the first visit.
