“This was our first time using Rover and Shelby couldn’t have been a better fit for us! She was on time, communicative and both of our pups were so happy to see her during her visits. We’ll definitely use Shelby again and would recommend to everyone!”

“Jennifer, Took care of Chelita after her surgery. I am always afraid to leave my baby🐶 with anybody, but Jennifer has a thorough, detail oriented, pleasant personality. I know Chelita was in good hands. Also very punctual, right on the clock!”

“Cynthia is AMAZING. From keeping us up to date with our dogs, to bringing in packages left on the porch, to clear and fast communication, I would recommend Cynthia to anyone looking for a pet sitter. It’s scary having outsourced online help. Cynthia has made our experience transitioning to Rover smooth and stress free. My fiancé and I have consistently rebooked with Cynthia and don’t plan to book with anyone else.”

About: I have had dogs my entire life, and have had the opportunity to take care of my neighbors and friends pets for about 10 years, since I was 12. I love walking dogs and giving pets the love they so deserve! I am currently in Physical Therapy school at Elon University, and my hours in class are usually 8-4 M-F. My evenings and weekends are free, I am starting Rover to earn some money to help me get through my PT program! Hanging out with your pets will also serve as a great stress reliever for me too! I live on the third floor in my apartment complex, so preferably I will come to you and allow the pets to stay in their own comfortable environment! However, I do not have any pets in my apartment right now, making it easier to board them if needed. I also live across from a park that is perfect for walking dogs if they need more space!
“Paulina was great! She was very communicative and sent photos every day. She went above and beyond to get alternative transportation during bad weather to make sure my cat didn’t miss a meal. I felt at ease knowing someone reliable was taking care of my cat, and my cat clearly enjoyed her visits!”

“Alisha was great! My baby is happy and content! She fed him well, took her time to take care of the cat! She even brought our packages from Amazon inside the house ! Highly recommended! Thank you Alisha!”

About: Growing up as a farm girl taught me responsibility, patience, and how to care for animals of all personalities and sizes. I’m comfortable with high-energy pets, shy pets, senior animals, and multi-pet households. I also have experience caring for young animals, including bottle feeding kittens and providing extra attention to pets that need specialized care. What sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” pets — I pay attention to their routines, behaviors, and comfort so they feel safe and loved while you’re away. I understand how important trust is when leaving your animals with someone else, so I provide dependable communication, photo updates, and personalized care for every pet as if they were my own. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a calm companion, I adapt to their needs and make sure they receive attentive, reliable care every time. Pet sitting fits naturally into my weekly routine alongside my multiple part-time jobs because I’ve learned how to stay organized, reliable, and flexible with my time. My schedule varies throughout the week, but I intentionally plan ahead so I can give each pet sitting visit my full attention and consistency. Because my jobs are part-time, I have built-in availability during mornings, evenings, and flexible gaps in the day that allow me to provide dependable check-ins, walks, feeding, and playtime. I’m used to balancing responsibilities, so I’m careful about only accepting bookings I can fully commit to without rushing or cutting corners. Pet sitting is something I genuinely prioritize in my routine — it’s not just extra work, it’s time I set aside to care for animals, give them attention, and make sure pet parents feel confident and updated while they’re away. I offer flexible care depending on what works best for you and what your pet is most comfortable with. In your home, I focus on keeping everything as familiar and stress-free as possible for your pet. I follow their normal routine for feeding, walks, litter box care, medication if needed, and playtime. I also make sure they get attention and companionship so they don’t feel lonely while you’re away. I respect your space, keep things clean and organized, and provide consistent updates so you always know how your pet is doing. If care takes place in my home, your pet will be in a calm, safe, and supervised environment where they receive the same level of attention and routine-based care. I make sure they have a comfortable space, regular outdoor breaks or playtime, and a low-stress setting that feels secure and welcoming. I limit distractions and other animals as needed so each pet gets proper individual care. In both settings, my goal is the same: to make your pet feel safe, cared for, and comfortable while giving you peace of mind that they’re in responsible hands.

“Kelly is helping our puppy's transition into our house by coming in while we are at work to let her out during lunch time. I receive a photo each time he's in and she has yet to have an accident thanks to his drop ins during the day. When we met Kelly he was extremely professional and knowledgeable and I look forward to retaining his services. Thanks Kelly for helping us with Miss Annie!”

About: For my entire life, I have had a dog(s). I could not imagine my life without one. They truly are family and I intend to treat your pet as if they were mine. I recently lost my black lab, Olive, so your dog will get some extra loving. I could help with obedience with your pet as well. I also have experience with administering medication. I work full time in the healthcare field and would be able to administer injection medications as well. Let me help you and your pet. I will make it fun for both of us. Lots of walks and playing fetch. Lots of snuggles, but most importantly lots of love and care for your pet. I am a healthcare professional. While I have not taken a class on dog CPR and First Aid, I feel that my professional experience could come in handy. I have treated my own dogs for injuries. I am well versed in first aid and splinting. I have also successfully performed CPR and saved a young mans life. I do work full time but I work later in the day. I would be available for mid day walks and check ins. I am available to board and pet sit on most weekends. I live in an extremely pet friendly neighborhood. I am an avid exerciser and love to take dogs on walks. I will ensure your dog gets the exercise they need or desire. I do allow dogs on the furniture but will follow the rules you set forth to keep the dogs routine.
About: I’ve lived with up to 7 dogs at a time, from bottle feeding to 16yo. I volunteer at the WHS and occasionally foster so even if you have a tricky pup, we can make it work! I’ve always had multiple dogs so I’m used to altering my life to benefit animals. They always have been and always will be a part of my every day. I have a young female English Springer Spaniel that is the sweetest, most playful companion your pup could have during their stay. Just like with fosters, if they’re in my home they’re basically my dog, from the enrichment treats to the sniffy walks!
