About: I've been caring for animals since I was 10 years old, and over the years, friends and neighbors have trusted me with the special care of their beloved pets. For over a year, I worked in a lab-like setting providing daily care to a wide variety of exotic animals, including reptiles, amphibians, small mammals and birds. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning, and general husbandry for each species. I also have experience caring for senior animals, including administering medication and performing nail trims, so I'm comfortable with pets who need a little extra attention and care. I currently work part-time and am finishing up my Associate's degree, which gives me a good amount of flexibility during the week to care for your fur babies. On days I work an 8-hour shift, there may be a slightly longer gap between potty breaks, but I always plan ahead and communicate clearly so you know exactly what to expect. Providing consistent, quality care for your animals is a top priority for me, no matter my schedule. When I care for your pets in their own environment, I bring nothing but comfort and love. I give excellent cuddles and scritches, and genuinely enjoy enriching their day with play. I know when to be calm and reassuring, and when to be playful and energetic, adapting to match each pet's unique personality. About: I was raised with a Swiss mountain dog for an older sister, and became her caretaker in later years. I’ve had dogs in my life ever since, and have learned the right mix of patience, attention, and love that it takes to give them the life they deserve! As a recent college grad who moved away from home, I dearly miss my own dog and would love to meet yours ❤️ As a Duke grad, I now work at the Duke Campus Farm as a communications fellow. My days end early, and a large percentage of work can be done remotely while watching your pup. As someone who has dealt with their fair share of naughty pets, I can keep a watchful eye on your dog in or out of the house and crate as needed.

About: I began my journey learning about responsible pet care and dog training when I was ten years old and enrolled in 4H with my puppy. Since that early age I have gained professional experience in vet clinics, pet stores, and as a professional dog jogger. I did extensive research on positive reinforcement training when I adopted my shy, border collie mix puppy in 2020 and am a strong believer in its ability to form strong bonds and trust with any pet. I currently have a remote job that gives me open flexibility. I can also make evening visits and overnights stays throughout the week. I can work from your home on my laptop when I am pet/house sitting, providing a lot of companionship for your best friend! I will care for the pets in your home, where they feel most comfortable. I am open to developing pet care in my home for doggy daycare. I have a large fenced yard and am located right next to Cedarock Rock. I walk our dogs there almost daily. Our young dog Hugo would love a dog to play with!

About: Hi! I grew up with dogs in the household my entire life and know just how much love, attention and activity are important. I’m here to provide for your pet when you need an extra hand. I’m free for over-night house-siting in Chapel Hill on weekdays and weekends. I have my own small young pup who is a sweetheart and comes along with me. When house-siting on Tue, Wed, Thu, I would be home with your pet from 6PM to 8AM. I charge a lower fee those days. Monday and Friday, I can come provide a potty break at noon. On the weekends, I can be home 70-100% of the day, depending on your needs. I think exercise and stimulation are very important! I personally love going on long walks and driving to the park. But every dog’s needs are different. I’m happy to take any care instructions the pet parent requests.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
