“Chevaughn did an amazing job! One of my dogs (Toffee) is 'very' skittish & does not warm up to new people well (it often takes weeks - sometimes months - for people just to be able to pet her). However, when we did the first meet & greet, Toffee was curious & got close enough to sniff him, which I thought was a great sign. But then... Chevaughn was actually able to pet her before leaving. She was wary, but let him. It kinda shocked me a bit. We had met with 2 other potential sitters & Toffee wouldn't get near them. With one of them, she wouldn't even come inside the house from the yard, not even for a treat, so long as the lady was there. Chevaughn has great energy, though. He was calm & assertive, moved gently around Carlee & Toffee, and they both became fast friends with him. While we were away, he even sent video of her licking his hand. That was a huge deal... Chevaughn was reliable, on time, consistent & most importantly, he is kind. Next time we need a sitter, he's our guy and I highly recommend him for taking care of your pups..”

About: I've been surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all ages and personalities. I've also volunteered with animal rescue organizations, helping foster pets, support adoptions, and assist with trap-neuter-return efforts for stray cats. Animals have always been a huge part of my life—including my rescued pet possum, Rocky, who has become best friends with my cat! I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important it is to provide loving, dependable care while you're away. I took voluntary retirement in December 2025, so I am available to spend time with your furry friends 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. or overnight, all days of the week. I treat all animals as if they were my own, as well as your home, too. I am detailed, affectionate, reliable - and very tidy and clean!
About: I couldn't imagine my life without animals. My mom bred labs when I was a kid and I have always lived in a house with dogs. I worked in a vet for a while I was in high school where I walked, fed, cleaned up after, and provided medications to dogs visiting or boarding. I have also been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends for years. I’m always available by phone. I am also more than willing to send pictures or texts to pet parents that would like them. I currently work full time Monday through Friday in a remote capacity and on site as needed, but I’m lucky enough to have a lot of flexibility. I have always treated pets as part of the family and think that all animals should be treated with compassion. I also believe that positive reinforcement is the most effective training method and that you can always teach an old dog new tricks.

About: Ive grown up with animals my whole life, I started walking my family dog and cleaning up after my family cats when I was pretty young and Ive been doing it ever since! I take care of my own dog, and I have also had experience house sitting and dog walking for friends and neighbors. Im currently in school at Alamance Community College, and I have class 9-5 every Tuesday and Thursday. Other than that and the occasional appointment I am pretty open :) I like to follow a timely schedule with my dog (when I feed her, when I walk her, when I take her out, etc.) But of course it isn’t always perfect, and I am willing to adapt to any specific instructions/ guidelines.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
