“Chevaughn did an amazing job! One of my dogs (Toffee) is 'very' skittish & does not warm up to new people well (it often takes weeks - sometimes months - for people just to be able to pet her). However, when we did the first meet & greet, Toffee was curious & got close enough to sniff him, which I thought was a great sign. But then... Chevaughn was actually able to pet her before leaving. She was wary, but let him. It kinda shocked me a bit. We had met with 2 other potential sitters & Toffee wouldn't get near them. With one of them, she wouldn't even come inside the house from the yard, not even for a treat, so long as the lady was there. Chevaughn has great energy, though. He was calm & assertive, moved gently around Carlee & Toffee, and they both became fast friends with him. While we were away, he even sent video of her licking his hand. That was a huge deal... Chevaughn was reliable, on time, consistent & most importantly, he is kind. Next time we need a sitter, he's our guy and I highly recommend him for taking care of your pups..”

My family has had several dogs over the years, ranging from small dogs to larger breeds, and I’ve helped take care of them through feeding, walks, playtime, bathing, and general daily care. About: Growing up, I was always the person that friends and neighbors called when they needed someone to care for their furry friends. I’ve looked after dogs with all sorts of personalities, including seniors who benefit from extra patience and attention. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I focus on providing reliable care, sticking to routines, and keeping owners updated every step of the way! As a grad student, I have an extremely flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate! I’m available most weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. My classes take up a small portion of my week, which means more playtime and cuddles for your pet! My priority is making sure every pet feels safe and cared for while maintaining the routine they’re used to. I follow instructions closely regarding feeding, exercise, meds, crate routines, and any other specific needs. I understand that every animal is different, so I take time to learn their personalities and boundaries. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and in good hands while you’re away.

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats, so caring for pets has always been a big part of my life! I don’t currently have any pets of my own, so I really miss the love, cuddles they bring. Thankfully, I’ve still been able to spend time with friends’ and family members’ pets, and I love every chance I get to care for them! I work as a teacher and I am mainly available in the evenings and on weekends! I will have more availability over the summer starting mid-June. I live near a great walking trail and have a flexible summer schedule, which gives me plenty of availability for daytime drop-ins, walks, and check-ins!
