“Isabel was great to work with. She came in so clutch, after our original sitter got sick, and we needed to scramble to find someone in a day. It ended up being the best thing that could have happened - as Isabel did a wonderful job. She was fast to respond, and scheduled a meet and greet right away. She lives in a rural area, and has a fenced in backyard - which is ideal for dogs like Brady to roam free and have fun. She was also great about sending pictures and updates - without me having to ask, which I really appreciated. Brady seemed to have a wonderful time, and I'd highly recommend her.”

“Ross and Sarah were absolutely amazing! I am blown away with how much time and care they put in to caring for my sweet special boy. They were so understanding of his quirks and they communicated clearly on how he was doing and what they were doing to help him be happy and comfortable. They sent many pictures and videos daily so I can see just how happy and how much fun he was having. Their patience, adaptability, and knowledge was everything to make me feel comfortable knowing my boy was in good hands. I couldn't give higher praise and will be happy to recommend them and ask them to watch my dog again in the future.”

“Evie and Fritz took amazing care of my dog, Moose, while he stayed with them for a week. They were kind, caring, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and happy. It was clear from the start that they genuinely love dogs, and Moose absolutely loved his time with them. I also appreciated the frequent updates, photos, and communication throughout his stay, which gave me complete peace of mind. I would highly recommend Evie and Fritz to anyone looking for trustworthy and attentive pet sitters, and I would happily book with them again!”

“Excellent sitter! Our anxious fur baby had a wonderful time and did very well on her first visit. Amy had a great plan for her and took care of her ensuring she acclimated to her new environment. Excellent care and communication. Would definitely use their services again without hesitation.”

“Ro is absolutely fantastic!! So communicative with pictures of our pup daily!! Great neighborhood and house for all dogs. Would highly recommend leaving your pup with Ro!!”

“Vanessa was incredible! It was so nice to feel comfortable leaving Piper knowing she was with someone that really cared for her. Vanessa was so good to send pictures and keep us posted on how she was doing. And in-spite of cancelled flights and not being able to pick her up on time, Vanessa was so willing to work with us! We will be back!!”

“Cathy took fantastic care of my dog. I was given consistent updates, lots of adorable photos, and she communicated so promptly. I could tell that she treated my dog like he was her own and that helped me to not worry at all during his stay. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and trustworthy person to watch their dog!”

“Sarah and her husband both do an incredible job taking care of my little Jackson. He's a high energy, anxious mini aussie, and it’s not easy finding someone I can trust to put in the level of care and patience that he needs to feel comfortable. Jackson always comes back home healthy and relaxed after staying with Sarah. Very happy with their service! Thank you!”

“Very accommodating and understanding with travel delays. Dogs looked healthy and happy. Best part was she provided a complementary dog wash for the boys . Definitely recommend.”

“Zydae did an awesome job taking care of my pup Luna, who is very neurotic! She didn't seem stressed at all when I picked her up and brought her home. Will definitely ask Zydae to dog-sit for me again (soon)!”
“Ashley did a great job watching our pup. He has a lot of energy as well as a small medical need and he was well taken care of on his stay. Ashley did a great job keeping us updated daily and our pup came back happy. Will be contacting Ashley for our pups next “vacation”!”
“Scott and Ellen did an excellent job making sure Harold got enough excercise and taking care of him. They are very experienced dog sitters and seemed very prepared when I brought my dog over to their house. I enjoyed the pictures they sent, my dog looked like he had a good time with them. I would definitely have them watch him again!”

“Megan is awesome. My dogs feel so comfy with her that they play with each other at her place. That rarely happens outside of our home. She sent wonderful pictures and worked with us when we had a blip in our schedule. We highly recommend her and look forward to boarding our dogs with her again. Thanks, Megan for giving us such peace of mind when leaving Arty and Cork with you.”

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
