About: I loved cats as a kid and then somehow became a 'dog person' in my late teens and young adulthood. Now, I recognize cats for the amazingly intelligent and loving animals that they are. A magical black cat named Roger showed me the light. I like providing the play stimulation and firm pets and snuggles (if wanted) these sensitive creatures need and I find their sweet company so restful. I'd love to get to know your cat! (as much as I can, who can REALLY know a cat?)

About: I was raised with a Swiss mountain dog for an older sister, and became her caretaker in later years. I’ve had dogs in my life ever since, and have learned the right mix of patience, attention, and love that it takes to give them the life they deserve! I’m free for over-night house-siting in Chapel Hill on weekdays and weekends. I have my own small young pup who is a sweetheart and comes along with me. When house-siting on Tue, Wed, Thu, I would be home with your pet from 6PM to 8AM. I charge a lower fee those days. Monday and Friday, I can come provide a potty break at noon. On the weekends, I can be home 70-100% of the day, depending on your needs. I think exercise and stimulation are very important! I personally love going on long walks and driving to the park. But every dog’s needs are different. I’m happy to take any care instructions the pet parent requests.

Ive been a dog trainer and service dog handler for 10 years and grew up Raising and training hunting dogs. My goal is to treat your pets as i would my own. (who are spoiled rotten but dont tell them that) I specialize in dogs with seperation anxiety and behavorial issues. Im available thru the week and the weekends. Your pet will have a ball staying with me. I will make sure your pet has the most fun and comes back to you tired, happy and well mannered. Drop offs and pickups 7 days a week. If im gone I have 24/7 camera monitoring in my kennel area so I can always see and hear what's going on. When im home outdoor games and interactive puzzles and treats will fill your pups mental and physical needs. I have a beautiful fenced in back yard, grooming facilities, training room, and more. Your pet will get everything they need and want while here. Everything is tailored to each individual dog based on their needs. While I do provide kennels if your pet is nervous or never boarded before id highly suggest bringing their own Kennels. Any damage done to my kennels will encur a fee and no repeat bookings unless the dog comes with anxiety medications upon next booking and you'll be required to provide your own kennels after that.

I did extensive research on positive reinforcement training when I adopted my shy, border collie mix puppy in 2020 and am a strong believer in its ability to form strong bonds and trust with any pet. About: DISCLAIMER * As of 10/26/2024 * If i cannot meet you and your pets before the start of the booking, i will not accept the booking. This has become a safety issue for me. I will no longer be able to accept verbal verification that your pet will be fine with a stranger entering the home. (Exceptions are small puppies) I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10. My neighbor growing up had 4 cats, that I loved dearly! She was the first person who allowed me to watch her fur babies when she went on vacation! I've pet sat many times since then. Dogs big and small of all breeds from a little pug to a 100lb+ Rottweiler. I own a 85lb pit bull mix and a 10lb weenier dog. 🐶 They are my babies.💗 I can drop in anytime to check on your fur babies. Spend extra time with them. I do bathing, and walks also! If you need your fur babies to be crated, no problem! I will make sure their safety comes first. You can put your mind at ease knowing your pets will be taken care of! This is my full time job, I enjoy every second of it! So day or night I can always do a drop in visit or a walk! Your pets safety comes first! So during a meet and greet I will be going over a small list of questions to make sure I can take care of your fur baby to the best of my ability. With this I create a “pet profile” so when you need to rebook with me I’ve already got a reference to look back at. EXAMPLE; if your dog is good with other animals, or if there is a certain amount of food that needs to be given. About: I've been caring for animals since I was 10 years old, and over the years, friends and neighbors have trusted me with the special care of their beloved pets. For over a year, I worked in a lab-like setting providing daily care to a wide variety of exotic animals, including reptiles, amphibians, small mammals and birds. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning, and general husbandry for each species. I also have experience caring for senior animals, including administering medication and performing nail trims, so I'm comfortable with pets who need a little extra attention and care. I currently work part-time and am finishing up my Associate's degree, which gives me a good amount of flexibility during the week to care for your fur babies. On days I work an 8-hour shift, there may be a slightly longer gap between potty breaks, but I always plan ahead and communicate clearly so you know exactly what to expect. Providing consistent, quality care for your animals is a top priority for me, no matter my schedule. When I care for your pets in their own environment, I bring nothing but comfort and love. I give excellent cuddles and scritches, and genuinely enjoy enriching their day with play. From the first meet & greet all the way through the boarding, they were loved and valued as if they were her own dogs! She gave us so many photos and updates so we were always in-the-know on how our dogs were doing.
