“Justin did a fantastic job taking care of our kitties Phoenix and Cici while we were away! He was extremely professional, communicative, and very thoughtful. 5 stars all around!”

“Erika was exceptional! She took care of our two cats for 6 days and did a wonderful job. She was reliable, consistent, and responsive. She sent us daily photos, and it put our minds at ease just knowing our kitties were being well cared for by her. She even checked in to ensure we were back home so that the cats had continued care. I highly recommend her services and would rebook with her again for sure.”

“We always choose Cynthia for our services! She’s very communicative, compassionate, and clean. My family recommend Cynthia to anyone looking for a smooth River experience”

“Michelle was great walking our big girl while we were out of town for 2 weeks. Our dog seemed quite content on her walks. Michelle was very good to send pics & check in. She also paid great attention to the crazy weather we had while we were gone, and adjusted walks accordingly. Our other caretaker said the Ariah got so excited when Michelle came to take her on her walks. That's a pretty good review.”

“In all of our years owning pets, we have never felt so at ease leaving our pets for a week. Candice is an intelligent, intuitive, and attentive pet sitter. We truly cannot recommend her enough. Our cats will miss her. 10/10”

“This was our second booking, and my animals adore Jessica, it was seen when she came to pick up the key before our trip! She is very communicative about what is going on with the animals while we are gone, and gives us the peace of mind that our animals are being loved while we’re away.”

“Arden was amazing with communication and ensuring I knew what was going on with my critters while I was out of town. As a bonus, she took amazing pictures of them too when always made my time away a bit easier. Highly recommend Arden!”

About: I am an animal lover to the max. I have been a pet sitter for some years now and have enjoyed it all from training young pets to caring for our more senior animals. I am currently working from home, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets and tend to their needs. I would be happy to bring your pet along with me in my day to day. I have an unfenced, private yard and a puppy to keep your pets company. I can crate your dog if needed, and I have ample space to give them whatever space they need to feel comfortable.
About: I’ve had dogs all my life, I’ve had all kinds of animals. I’ve had rabbits and guinea pigs, and many types of dogs. I am currently in school working on getting my vet tech certification, and I have worked at a pet boarding facility before along with a vet office! I am currently in school virtually and working full time doing detailing, so I have a very flexible schedule. I don’t start my work day until abt 10:30, classes are set at my own pace, and I typically finish my work day around 2:30/3 just depends on how long the detail takes me. So my schedule is very flexible and I have the ability to work around it! I live in a townhome apartment complex with 2 cats and a dog. I allow my pets access to everything in my home, same would go for your pets as well! My cats and dog are friendly, and I always leash my dog when taking him outside to use the bathroom or for walks. All my pets are spayed and neutered, and up to date on all their vaccines and on flea and tick prevention.
“Shelby has watched our cats twice now and she always does a fantastic job! She’s communicative and kind, and is always sure to send us plenty of update pictures and notes.”

About: I’m active , so I actively play with dogs being I have 3 energetic dogs myself , 1 shitzu 1 german shepherd one pit bull mix and a golden retriever We are currently college students with a bunch of free time, looking to find a job we enjoy. While we both have a love of dogs, the opportunity to walk dogs and make it into a job is amazing! We often take our pups for walks around the block, which they love. In our home, we have a fenced in yard with a plethora of toys. While our neighborhood is big, we take our dogs on a walk at least once a day
About: Many family friends have left their dogs in my care, mainly overnight. I’ve gotten very comfortable looking after high energy breeds and being attentive to their needs. I’ve owned a cat myself in the past! My primary job has relatively light and flexible hours. That flexibility allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. Early mornings and late nights will almost always be available for bookings. When I accept a booking, I make sure I can genuinely commit to it so every pet receives consistent attention and companionship throughout my time. I treat both the space and the fur baby with the same respect and responsibility I would expect someone to show mine. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine and personality while also making sure they receive any specific care they’re already used to. I try to leave homes better condition in then I arrived, and I believe reliable communication helps provide peace of mind for any client that so desires. My goal will always be for clients to come home to something relaxing.
“Lauren was great! Our dog absolutely loved her, and we can’t wait to book with her again soon. She is very sweet, and we know that our dog is in good hands with her while we are away.”

“Kaitlyn did a drop in for my babies and was so engaging from the moment she arrived. She greeted my babies with love and all the pets and was very enthusiastic about care taking for our dogs and cats. We’ve ALREADY rebooked her for Thanksgiving week travels and we feel VERY comfortable leaving them behind in Kaitlyn’s capable hands.”

“First impression expectations exceeded. When Heather came to see my place and meet my kitty, I felt right away that he’d be in good hands while I was away. She took great care of him and my home. I will absolutely be using her caring services again. Thank you, Heather!!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in McLeansville. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
