About: I raised my 2 girls and gave them all I had. The empty nest was so quiet I decided to start another family! I love dogs, and most times I love them more than people. If you are a dog person, you will understand! From rescue to just hanging out, to taking Jack out for a hike, my dogs are my kids and I know what it is to go on a “people” vacation and leave your “hearts” behind! As a RN for over 30 years with 2 senior dogs I am particular about their nutrition, I understand medications, and I pay attention to their eating, drinking, peeing, and pooping… Great with big and small dogs. Any questions? Ask my “kids”… they “WOOF” me! My daily routine revolves around what our dogs need. First thing almost every morning is Jack’s walk because he is the young one, and needs his walk or he is a little hyper. Before bed, all three go for a little stroll around our block which provides even the older arthritic two some mental stimulation. Nutrition is key in our routine and feeding them healthy organic foods is a must! We also use supplements to help with aging and keeping them in their best health. I provide the same quality of care to other pets that I do my own. We watch our granddog who is almost 14 and has had multiple health issues. He has become a great member of our pack when he is here and we love him just like our own.

We called her the dog whisperer - a title earned through a combination of her extremely hard work, natural ability to connect with animals, and phenomenal patience and empathy. My wife and I own a small show kennel of AKC Champion Siberian Huskies (9 dogs total; 6 adults, 3 puppies) and Jessica connected with each one of them individually from the very start. They immediately took a liking to her - often seemed like they liked her more than us, which was fine with us, ha! - and she was able to expertly handle their very different personalities, tweak their obedience training, keep up with their changing dietary needs, and keep them stimulated with treat-based “mind” exercises. Not to mention: all the physical exercise! Huskies are known to love pulling, and our dogs are super “ripped”; Jessica kept up with them on long runs, hikes, and walks, sometimes walking up to 10 miles every day. She also watched all nine of them as they played together on our 2-acre property and broke up “fights,” ensuring play time exuberance never led to accidental injury. It is no small feat to constantly keep track of 9 animals and to keep them all safe and happy. My wife and I both work full time, and we had full faith and trust in Jessica’s capabilities from the start. She kept our dogs safe, healthy, and LOVED - she treated them like family! We’re so sad she had to leave us due to relocation, but we wish her the very best and would not hesitate to recommend her to absolutely any pet owner.”
