“It is hard to find someone who connects with your animal. T meeting Candice at the door tells me he is comfortable with Candice! Candice also watered my plants! We have become good friends too. Thank you!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 11 years old. Family, friends and neighbors have entrusted me to come into their homes to feed, let out, clean up and give lots of attention and love to their pets. I am a teacher’s assistant at an elementary school, so I’m available early mornings and anytime after 3:30 during the week. I’m also available on weekends and during the summertime. I’m currently unable to take pets in my home as I have my own sweet Labrador Retriever and Australian Labradoodle and an adorable cat, but I’m available to travel to your residence to take excellent care of your pets.
About: I’ve had dogs in my house my entire life. I absolutely love taking care of them! I’ve also always helped my friends taking care of their dogs and have dog sit many different breeds. I personally have owned beagles, Labradors, and golden retrievers. With my last two dogs I’ve personally been the one taking care of them mostly all the way from 8 weeks old. I absolutely love taking care of dogs and would love taking care of any breeds! I’m currently a student at University of North Carolina Wilmington. I would be available Tuesdays 12-5, Wednesdays 2-5, Thursdays 12-7, Fridays 1-7, and anytime on Saturdays and Sundays. I currently cannot take care of any dogs in my home. I am living in an on campus apartment and we are not allowed to have pets.
“Kelly was awesome and made being out of town extra easy. She cared for our 6 cats and 11 ducks, providing great photos and daily updates. We will definitely be using Kelly again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15 years old. I don’t just walk dogs- I turn every stroll into their favorite part of the day! I’m currently working full time during the week, so I am looking for something with flexible hours on weekends that allows me to make some extra money. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality—whether that means fetch in the backyard, a quiet snuggle on the couch, or just someone to keep them company. I create a safe, loving environment where pets feel relaxed and engaged. I’ll send lots of photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away without worry!

“Lindsay did a fantastic job even though my kitties are just being socialized. She was patient and took some time to try and play with them. She was very good with the directions that I gave her. Will definitely use her again when I travel.”

“Holly has been fantastic with my 9 week old GSD puppy. She communicates promptly before and after her visit. She is a weekly visitor and I know that Dakota is in good hands.”

About: Lifelong animal lover and pet owner here! I started rehabilitating and caring for animals at the young age of 10 and never looked back. I have experience handling all different sizes, species, and personalities! I currently have 2 large dogs of my own and have no problem with stronger breeds! I look forward to meeting all of your pet babies 😊 I currently work full time, Sundays - Thursdays. I have Fridays, Saturdays, and some evenings completely free and would love to fill up that time. I am versatile is terms of what your pet needs! Whether it’s crating, yard excise, walks, medication, or just general tlc.. I can provide all that is needed.
“Angie did a wonderful job with our cats! Great with communication and making sure our cats were loved and taken care of. Will definitely book again whenever we go on our next trip!”

About: Hello! I’m an animal science major at North Carolina State University. I’ve been pet sitting for 6 years now for friends and family. I worked at Willow Run Dog Boarding for 4 years before they sold it. I’ve also helped out long-term for a family who worked night shifts for a year and I foster dogs through Saving Grace while I’m at school! I’m a college student home for the summer, and I'm currently looking for a part-time job. I’m free all day everyday 🤗 I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including feeding, walks, playtime, and cleaning litter boxes. At home, we have a fenced-in yard and one husky, but I prefer caring for pets through home visits so pets can stay comfortable in their own environment. I’m also happy to help with small tasks around the house like watering plants, bringing in mail, or keeping things tidy while you’re away. I enjoy being active and outdoors, while also making sure pets stay safe and comfortable in the heat.
“Can’t say enough about how awesome Jodie was. This was our first time getting a pet sitter, and we were very concerned because one of our dogs is very skittish and barks at every new person. Jodie took the time to meet our dogs beforehand so that they would feel comfortable. Jodie was so very patient and made sure that our “problem child” was well taken care of. Would definitely use Jodie again - she was just fantastic!!!!”
“Julie and Jay went above and beyond to care for my fur babies. When I got home, they were very content and this tells me that they were treated very well. I look forward to working with them again.”

“Megan was an absolute gem!!! I booked her very last minute (within 2 hours of me leaving for holiday) and she was able to stop by for a meet and greet with me and my squeaky! She eased my mind all weekend with pictures and updates of my sweet girl and spent time cuddling her during visits! Megan was very attentive and made sure to get as much helpful information about squeaks as possible before I left to ensure the best care! I highly recommend Megan and would absolutely book again!”

“She was the best pet sitter we ever had. She took care of medicating one of my dogs and she was consistently at my house at the times discussed. She even left a thank you note with dog treats. I will definitely be booking her again.”

“Addison was GREAT! She communicated well, was reliable, and actually spent quality time with Ellie during each visit. It gave me peace of mind knowing Ellie was getting attention and care, not just a quick check-in. I highly recommend her!”

About: I’m new to professional pet sitting, but I’ve been around dogs my entire life—I’ve had a dog since I was 3 years old. I grew up with German Shepherds and have also spent a lot of time caring for smaller breeds like Yorkies, Shih Tzus, Chihuahuas, and Dachshunds through family. I have a genuine love for dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I would truly enjoy the opportunity to care for your furry family member while you’re away. I’m a full-time graduate student during the day and work part-time a few days during the week, which means my afternoons are typically free. This gives me plenty of time to spend quality time with your furry companion and get to know their personality, needs, and routine while you’re away. In your home, I will provide attentive and personalized care to keep your pet comfortable and maintain their normal routine. I can assist with feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, and lots of affection, as well as administering basic medications if needed. I’ll also keep your home tidy, follow any specific instructions you provide, and send updates so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is in good hands while you’re away.
