Highly-rated overnight sitters - Oak Ridge
“This was my first time using Rover and I must say that Lutisa was phenomenal with my little Coco. She sent pictures and video and reassured me that my sweet and spicy little Coco would be just fine. I will book again with Lutisa if she will have my little Coco.”

“I was able to arrange a brief meet-and-greet prior to dropping off my dog. The entire family--including parents, children, and pets--was all very friendly and welcoming to Buddy. They made him feel like part of the pack for an entire week. It took Buddy a few minutes to settle and become comfortable in a house with two other dogs, but pretty soon, he had made two new canine friends. I am grateful for a place he can feel comfortable and save while I am away. I would recommend this sitter to others for their warm and welcoming home.”

“Holly and her family are the best! This was the first time we left our pup with someone since adopting her, but she cared for Sydney like her own! I truly appreciated the frequent updates and pictures to let me know she was doing great. I know Sydney will be excited to go back to their house and get spoiled in the future.”

“Amazing Dog Sitter! Candice is truly the best! From the moment we met her, we knew our dog was in great hands. She is clean, reliable, and incredibly thorough in her care. I especially appreciate the detailed daily reports she provides, it’s so reassuring to know how my pup’s day went. Her upbeat personality and genuine love for animals shine through in everything she does. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, Candice is the one.”

“I'm pretty sure Django had a great time at Jenna and Shane's! He's been sleeping a lot since I picked him up yesterday! It sounds like he made himself right at home. He's a big boy so having him around is like having a small horse in the house. One that likes to cuddle and share the furniture! I will definitely book Jenna and Shane again!”

“Stephanie and Matthew were super easy to communicate with. Our Rose had a wonderful doggie vacation and had other pups to play with to help get some of her energy out. They have a great backyard for Rose to run and play.”

“Gabrielle is awesome!!! Our usual dog sitter was unavailable. We had to find a new dog sitter last minute. Very responsive and courteous! Definitely will use her again. Guapo loves her and Yonah!”

“Melany was great! She sent lots of pictures of Forrest everyday, and she even kept him for an extra night when our plans didn't go as expected for pickup. He was happy and healthy when we picked him up. Thanks Melany!”

“Tina was amazing with our pups! She was incredibly communicative, both prompt in her responses before booking and went above and beyond in providing regular updates about how they were doing under her care. Thank you, Tina!”

“This lady has become apart of the family. Our two dogs can be much to deal with at times but Gina does such a great job with them. They are so happy staying with her and I wouldn't trust anyone else. She doesn't just look after the dogs, she goes the extra mile to make sure they feel at home. If you are considering boarding she is the way to go. So glad we have such a wonderful person taking care of our babies”

“Elizabeth and Nick are great! We immediately felt comfortable with them at our Meet and Greet. Since this was the first time ever boarding our dog, it was very important to us that we felt comfortable trusting our dog in their care. Today, we picked up our dog, Meadow, from her first boarding experience. We can tell she enjoyed it. Also, during her stay with Elizabeth and Nick, we received several photos and even a video of Meadow participating in activities such as while at play with other dogs, during walks/hikes, hanging out with their kids, etc. These updates made us smile knowing that Meadow is happy, is receiving great care, and is interacting with their family as if she were a part of their family. Finding Elizabeth and Nick as pet sitters is a blessing for us! My husband and I are already planning to be repeat customers.”

“Excellent sitter! Very caring, attentive and loving. Sends pics and msgs to keep me updated so we could enjoy our holiday while knowing he was being were taken care of. Thank you so much and I will definitely rebook for future trips!”

“Ellie was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable about dogs. A good home and yard for dogs. I feel very comfortable about taking Molly there for our next trip. I hope they are available the next time we need card for our elderly dog.”

“Starla was amazing! Will definitely use her again. My baby Twinkle had the time of her life. Starla is amazing with communication, sent daily pics and videos. Definitely the best! Thank you so much 🩷😊”

“Pat took my baby in an emergency situation. She worked with me and went out of her way to make sure that my baby was taken care of. She gave me good updates and communicated with me so I would not worry for this was a first time my baby had to stay with someone that she didn't know. She was wonderful, and I would definitely ask her to keep my baby again.”

“We found the perfect person to watch our Gracie. MARILBEL was accommodating, sweet, and a natural dog lover. Along with her dog, Molly, Maribel gave Gracie a wonderful few days. We had tried our vet's kennel and even the "luxury" pet kennels, but our dog is a "people" dog, and was definitely traumatized by those places, and it took days for her to get back to our normal dog. Putting my dog in a cage for days is NOT what we wanted. But Maribel was our answer. She loved on Gracie, played with her, texted us with pictures, and when we picked her up, she was not traumatized. She was her happy, normal dog self. We are grateful for Maribel and highly recommend her.”

“Great sitter! Super communicative. Monitored my dogs behavior along with other dogs to ensure safety between all of them. He’s super patient and flexible with me and my fur babies. Thank you!”

“Our pupper had a great time with Caitlyn! From our meet and greet, to drop off and stay, I felt Caitlyn loved our pupper like one of her own. We will definitely use Caitlyn again!”

“Christina was an amazing host to our family dog Muna. I really appreciated all the pictures while we were on vacation. She was very nice and treated Muna with great care like her own. Would highly recommend to anyone to book with her.”

“Breanna was the best pet sitter I could have asked for! My cat isn’t always the most warm and cuddly guy, but she had him greeting her at the door by the end of the visits and took care to make sure he had clean bowls and was kind enough to sweep up any food mess that was made by my cat’s habit of not eating over his bowl.”

“Kyleigh was awesome!! She was super communicative and sent pictures every time she went to see my babies. Never got a chance to meet her but she made it a priority to know exactly what I expected from her for the week. She was always available to answer any questions I had which meant a lot to me. Will hope to use her services again if needed!! ❤️”

“We loved having Morgan taking care of our cats, she vas very sweet with them and attentive to their needs, even our shyest cat felt comfortable with her. She went over the mile to take care of them and their surroundings.”

“Chelsey was amazing in watching our cats while we were out of town. Sent amazing pictures and even cleaned up a few mess spots for us so we didn’t have to worry about it when we got home. She was a breeze to work with and we absolutely look forward to utilizing her sitting services again in the future!”

“Darcy was fantastic with our cat and kept us up to date on he visits, including pictures. She is highly responsive, caring and was so flexible as things came up and plans changed. We plan to use Darcy in the future for both our cat and dogs. Thank you Darcy!”

“Angie did a wonderful job with our cats! Great with communication and making sure our cats were loved and taken care of. Will definitely book again whenever we go on our next trip!”

“Julie and Jay were our dream pet-sitters! Not only did they genuinely have love for our babies, they also kept us consistently up to date with very fun and detailed reports :) these are the people to book!”

“Danielle took care of our 13 year old kitty when we were on vacation. This was my first Rover experience, and Danielle communicated with me and answered all of my questions before-hand. I had confidence that my cat was getting everything she needed, and I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation. Kitty was very happy and healthy when I returned.”

“McKenna was great! We had to go out of town on short notice and McKenna was able to squeeze us in and took wonderful care of our cats. One of our cats is very friendly but the other is slower to warm up to strangers. She was sensitive to the differences in their personalities and was able to get our shy cat to warm up to her quite a bit in the few days we were gone. We will absolutely ask McKenna first the next time we have to go out of town!”

“She was excellent. She took videos and photos of Sugarlyn so we could see how she was doing. She communicated with us when she had to work and even worked around her lunch so she would have time to stop by in the morning check. I recommend her highly and will definitely continue to use her when we need the service”

Pet owners have trusted me with rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, as well as cats and dogs of all sizes. Just recently, my friend found 3 week old baby kittens under her house and we helped take care of them and helped give them milk since they were so little.

“My cat had an incredible time with Irina and her girl super good and friendly people, I think she wanted to stay with them hahaha, super recommended if I have other vacations I leave it back to Irina's care. ❤️”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Oak Ridge
About: Hi! My name is Rebecca, and I’ve worked professionally with dogs for over 15 years as a dog groomer and pet care provider. Caring for animals has always been my passion, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets. I currently offer overnight and daycare services, in a safe, loving, and low stress environment. Whether your pet needs playtime, walks, cuddles, feeding, medication reminders, potty breaks, or simply companionship while you’re away, I make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for like family in my home. Because of my grooming background, I’m experienced handling dogs of all sizes, ages, breeds, and personalities including senior dogs, anxious pets, and dogs with special care needs. Safety, cleanliness, patience, and positive interaction are always my top priorities. I work around animals full-time, which allows me to spend a significant amount of time with the pets in my care throughout the day. I’m flexible with scheduling and committed to providing dependable communication, updates, and photos so you can feel confident while you’re away. I know every pet is unique, and I love getting to know their personalities and routines to help them feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I work from home and run my own pet care business, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they need, whether it’s weekday cuddles, weekend playtime, or just making sure they feel safe and loved throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. While I don’t have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is strictly supervised and leashed, no exceptions. I provide plenty of potty breaks, structured walks, and engaging indoor play in a clean, cozy, and calm home setting.
“Lutisa was very helpful in that I needed a sitter ASAP, and she agreed to take my Myra. I was so appreciative that I didn't have to leave her alone for many hours. She took very good care of her.”

“Woody and Shamira are great with our puppy Mello! We’ve boarded her for a weekend and returned for daycare. We know she’s in good hands and will continue to return :)”

“Tyra is the best and has helped me out in a crunch on a couple of occasions!!! Wilson has a fabulous time with her and I love that she sends photos and shares his experiences.”

“Just like before, Jenna and Shane took great care of Gus. They were very accommodating for us on a last minute booking. He was happy when we picked him up and seemed like he played all day with their pups. We will continue to book them for future stays!”

About: I can’t remember a time in my life that I didn’t have a dog (or two). Big dogs, little dogs and in between. Now that I am retired, I devote most of my time to caring for my two “baby girls”. Daisy & Bella are litter sisters although they don’t look a like. They are Teddy Bear/Schicons (1/2 Bichon Frise and 1/2 Shih Tzu). They are inseparable, looking out for each other or wrestling together, where there’s one there is the other. They do play well with others. My sister’s little girl is a Shih Tzu and she is an only child, we laugh and call her the Princess. I sit for her for a week or long weekends when my sister visits her daughter out of town. She also comes over for play dates. They all respect each other’s boundaries and the Princess has learned to play with “the Court Jesters”. My dogs and visitors are allowed on furniture and beds. My yard is not fenced, but I do have a radio frequency collar system that I can use or walk on leash per owner’s preference. I live a long way from the road so it is safe. We go on golf cart rides around the property in the afternoon, my girls look forward to it. I am retired, so unless I have a doctor appointment or go grocery shopping, I am home 100% of the time. I do go to church on Sunday morning. My girls have the run of our home but I can use a crate if owner desires. I will treat your fur baby like I do my own. They are my #1 priority, always. They have a feeding schedule twice daily with a few treats throughout the day. They get lots of love and snuggles to their satisfaction. I encourage them to play with toys inside interacting with each other and myself. They will get plenty of exercise indoors and outdoors. I refreshed their water several times daily.
“Jessica was incredible. We had a very last minute need and she was responsive, confident and we felt from the beginning that there wasn't a situation that she couldn't handle when it came to our dog. He can be a little anxiously attached and she didn't bat an eye. She was a godsend when we needed one!”

“Christina was fantastic! She watched my pup while I was in town for work and I can’t express how much I appreciate her! My dog was super happy to see her and her family every day:)”

“Stephanie is a fantastic sitter! She has kept my nine-year-old Maltipoo, Happy, several times. Each time, Stephanie went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and to ensure that Happy felt right at home. Even her poodle, Sammy, was the perfect "little host' and is now Happy's new BFF. The photo updates that Stephanie sent me throughout the day always brought smiles to my face as I could see how much Happy was enjoying himself as he and Sammy explored her lovely fenced backyard or sat together staring outside. I am so pleased to have found such a wonderful and safe "home away from home" for my little fur baby.”

About: I have owned dogs of my own (Yorkie and Shihtzu) for the past 12 years. I work from home, so I will be able to spend lots of time with your dog. Our home is on a 1 acre lot, with a large fenced in back yard and plenty of space for your little ones to run around. I’m currently working part-time from home, so have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I will be home to spend the majority of the day with your pets while boarded with us. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly fur babies to keep yours company. I can also crate your dog or mine, if needed.
“Melany took great care of Maggie, I got multiple picture updates and Melany has been very responsive and flexible for pick up and drop off time. Will have Maggie stay with her again next time I’m in the area.”

About: I have experience with many different breeds, sizes, and ages. I’ve been caring for dogs my whole life. My family had a dog when I was growing up that I helped care for and I’ve loved taking care of pets ever since. I will treat your dog like they’re my own- with so much love, lots of playtime and belly rubs, walks, and snuggles if they like. My schedule is extremely flexible during the week/weekends so I will have time throughout the day to spend with and care for your pet. Your dog is welcome to come stay at my house if we think it’s a good fit. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I do have a spacious yard that your dog can explore and run around. We live right outside of a nice walking neighborhood so if your pet likes to walk, walk we will! I have two friendly pups who love to play that will also be able to keep your pet company. I can crate your dog if that’s part of their routine.
“Kayla was AMAZING. This was my first time having someone dog sit my dog Nova and she really set the standard HIGH. She made me very comfortable and I know I can trust her with my Nova anytime. I highly recommend Kayla, she is very professional and understanding. You can tell she really enjoys what she does.”

About: Owned cats for over 35 and dogs for over 25 years. Have administered medication as well as brought sick/injured back to health. Familiar with various diet needs/restrictions. A lover of all breeds, I bond quickly with all animals (including the timid or mistrusting), due to my love for and patience with them. Will take time to play, walk and hang with them. Experience with crating, potty training and teething, and other behavioral training. I recently went back to college to complete my BA and now job hunting, so my availability is wide open. I am flexible and having my own three dogs, get up early and am used to letting them out early morning/late night. I can get to your home as early as 6 am and make my final visit as late as 9 pm. I can provide care in the owners or my home, as well as take them for walks (if owner agrees) and/or play in their home and yard with them. I will love on and treat your babies as I would my own. I do not believe in just feeding and letting out without also providing affection and play time, unless the owner strictly requests I do. My schedule is currently open. I am also working for an events venue part time. Connecting with and caring for animals is a pleasure for me and how I choose to spend a lot of my free time. I have a large fenced in yard for running and playing and three large crates and a small one, for those that feel they need that safe space. I also have a 15 x 15 pen outside if I need to keep any separate from each other. I also have four baby gates so I can rotate the room they are in without having to crate those that want to roam but don't get along with others well. I have cautiously and patiently introduced many animals to each other and also know that just like people, some get along with certain animals but not others.

Pet owners have trusted me with rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, as well as cats and dogs of all sizes. I’ve worked with breeds ranging from tiny chihuahuas to large St. Bernards, and I’m experienced with pets from energetic 6-month-old puppies to senior companions up to 14 years old. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I always strive to provide attentive, loving care so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m currently an artist working from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. I’m available throughout the day for walks, check-ins, and playtime, as well as early morning feedings and late-night potty breaks. Because I’m home most of the time, your pet will get consistent attention, care, and companionship while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. “So so wonderful to find Tricia and not have to worry about Shelby so we could enjoy a few days away! She was attentive, prompt, responsive, and the whole package. We will be using her again!”

About: I grew up with dogs big and small! I’ve handled elderly dogs that needed diapers and help walking, given medication to dogs who dont want them, and taught boundaries and basic commands to a dog who was untrained. Whatever your furry friend needs, I’ve got you covered! I’m currently free almost every single day! Im a home body who was laid off recently so this is my current job! I do not have any other permanent plans during the week and can be free when needed! I prefer to work in the client’s home as that is the pet’s safe space. I can adapt to any life style a pet requires of me. Some prefer 2-3 walks a day. Some cannot walk a lot and need to be helped. I understand every pet is different and with that comes different types of care for the pet.
About: I have taken care of dogs for a long time and it brings me a lot of joy to do something that makes them feel joy as well. Whether it's belly rubs, walks, playing, or cuddling. I work in healthcare so my schedule can be inconsistent but I love being able to care for pets on the days I am not caring for people. I always keep an eye on them, making sure they don't get things they aren't supposed to. I operate on the discretion of the owner. If there is a no-no list I respect it.

“Lindsay was hands down the best! She updated is constantly on our pup and helped in any way she could. Zeus seemed extremely happy when we got back. We are definitely booking again with her!”

About: Hello! I’m an animal science major at North Carolina State University. I’ve been pet sitting for 6 years now for friends and family. I worked at Willow Run Dog Boarding for 4 years before they sold it. I’ve also helped out long-term for a family who worked night shifts for a year and I foster dogs through Saving Grace while I’m at school! I’m a college student home for the summer, and I'm currently looking for a part-time job. I’m free all day everyday 🤗 I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including feeding, walks, playtime, and cleaning litter boxes. At home, we have a fenced-in yard and one husky, but I prefer caring for pets through home visits so pets can stay comfortable in their own environment. I’m also happy to help with small tasks around the house like watering plants, bringing in mail, or keeping things tidy while you’re away. I enjoy being active and outdoors, while also making sure pets stay safe and comfortable in the heat.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and understand the importance of keeping pets comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. I’m attentive to routines, patient with different temperaments, and committed to providing reliable care and attention. I have a flexible schedule since most of my classes are online, which allows me to be available for reliable drop-in visits throughout the week. I’m committed to being punctual, attentive, and making sure pets receive the care, attention, and routine they’re used to while their owners are away. I prioritize keeping pets safe, comfortable, and stress-free by maintaining their normal routine during each visit. I always follow owner instructions carefully and make sure pets receive plenty of attention, fresh water, meals, exercise, and care while their owners are away.
“Abby was so great with our Ella. She arrived on time and took great care in remembering all the nuanced instructions we had. Ella enjoyed a great walk and we were happy to know she was taken care of while we were away. 🐶❤️”

“Kyleigh is the best. She is flexible- our family appreciates because our schedules are crazy but she’s willing to make it work where she can. I trust her completely in my home and with my dog and cat. She is someone you can trust, count on, and will be exceptionally kind and loving with your pets. I would t hesitate to recommend Kyleigh.”

About: I’m new to professional pet sitting, but I’ve been around dogs my entire life—I’ve had a dog since I was 3 years old. I grew up with German Shepherds and have also spent a lot of time caring for smaller breeds like Yorkies, Shih Tzus, Chihuahuas, and Dachshunds through family. I have a genuine love for dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I would truly enjoy the opportunity to care for your furry family member while you’re away. I’m a full-time graduate student during the day and work part-time a few days during the week, which means my afternoons are typically free. This gives me plenty of time to spend quality time with your furry companion and get to know their personality, needs, and routine while you’re away. In your home, I will provide attentive and personalized care to keep your pet comfortable and maintain their normal routine. I can assist with feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, and lots of affection, as well as administering basic medications if needed. I’ll also keep your home tidy, follow any specific instructions you provide, and send updates so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is in good hands while you’re away.
About: I've taken care of pets for a very long time, growing up with a dog and as an adult having two cats. I love animals so much, and my biggest priority will always be their safety and comfort. When it comes to dogs, I've pet-sat and done drop-ins for many peoples pets these past years. I love going on long walks with dogs that need them, and I understand some have limitations and may just need to be let out to the back yard too. I also love to play with the more energetic ones that want to play. I'm very respectful of your space and privacy. I'll make sure that if I stay in your home to pet-sit, everything will be back they way it was (pr better) by the time I've finished taking care of your dog. I can also administer topical and oral medications for dogs, so if they need daily pills or to have their flea and tick preventative administered, I can absolutely help! I'm also happy to provide daily check-ins with you regarding your pet! If you need someone detail-oriented, attentive, and respectful of your pet's boundaries, then I'm here for you. I work part time and I can make my own schedule, so I have plenty of time to either drop in to take care of your pets, or stay in your home with them! I'm happy to follow any instructions you leave regarding your pet's safety. If you need to ensure that child protective locks are always in place or that you dog gets crated at the end of the day, I can guarantee that will happen. I'm also very cautious of little escape artists, and will be sure that your pets are securely in your home as I'm leaving and entering.
“Danielle is wonderful! Would ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!!! I’m a traveling nurse with a mini Aussie who isn’t a fan of being cooped up all day so Danielle was a god send for Pi and I. She’s very adjusting to schedule and times and is always there when we need her no matter the day of the week. She treats Pi as her own and we cannot recommend her enough! Dependable, reliable, trustworthy, loving, caring, playful, and just all around amazing! We LOVE Danielle!”

“Rachael was great and Pickle seemed to love his stay with her family. Rachael provided regular updates and pictures of Pickle while he was there and was very flexible with our requests for dropoff and pickup. I'm sure Pickle would love to go back there again if we need.”

“Stephanie and Matthew were super easy to communicate with. Our Rose had a wonderful doggie vacation and had other pups to play with to help get some of her energy out. They have a great backyard for Rose to run and play.”

“Jane was so wonderful with my dog. After meeting with her, I knew Dixie was going to be in great hands. I received a lot of updates throughout my trip, and I could see on the pictures that Dixie was acting like she was at home. Jane understood her personality really well, so I highly recommend her to anyone who feels anxious leaving their pet for a short or long period of time. I already have her booked for my next trip. Jane was also extremely accommodating with the pick up time. After my flight back home got canceled, she understood the circumstances and told me not to worry about Dixie, that she was going to be taken care of. That was such a relief, and so appreciated. Thank you Jane for taking such great care of Dixie!”

Thank you!”

“5 stars just isn’t enough! The service Tyra provides is phenomenal!! I am definitely a helicopter mom and it’s very rare I trust people with my Great Dane especially for long periods of time. However, I completely felt at ease the entire time my Dane was with Tyra. Everyday I would receive several pictures with an update. Overall, the entire experience was remarkable and I’ll definitely be using Tyra in the future! ?”

“Sarah was amazing! She treated our furbaby with so much care, her and her family! Our son got a long super well with her kids and just enjoyed every playtime with them. She sent a lot of picture updates which I loved and answered pretty quickly. He loved it over there so much we will definitely be going back!”

“I would leave 10 stars if I could. Initially I was nervous to leave my pups, 12 and 13 since they had never been boarded before. Our meet and greet with Erica totally set my mind at ease. They have an ideal set up to make sure the dogs are comfortable and safe. A huge fenced in backyard is available for plenty of exploration and exercise. Throughout the 5 day stay we received wonderful photos of the pups with comments that reassured us they were fine. They came home stress free. The communication is truly outstanding. I would have no hesitation to board with Erica and Christian again.”

“It was our first time using Rover, but Juliana was a highly regarded sitter and so we entrusted our two dogs to her and it was a wonderful experience for us and them. Archer and Apollo were taken care of, and were treated as well as her own dogs. She provided any updates and plenty of pics, and followed any specific instructions regarding pills or activities to a “T”. We thank Juliana for her hosting and would absolutely use her services again in the future!”
