“Meredith was very sweet and kind. You can tell when speaking with her how much she loves dogs. She stayed at our house to look after our 3 dogs. My oldest dog has major separation anxiety and she seemed fine when we arrived home. All 3 dogs seemed happy snd content. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and cats for most of it — pet care has just always been part of my world. For the past 5 and a half years, I’ve raised my own dog, a German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix, from a puppy to adulthood, including working through his reactivity, so I have real hands-on experience with reactive and high-energy dogs. I know structured exercise, mental stimulation, training, and reading a dog’s cues, and I’m comfortable handling pets that need a more experienced, patient hand. Whether your dog is laid-back or comes with their own quirks, they’ll be in good hands with me. I was recently laid off from my full-time job at the airport, so my schedule is completely flexible to fit the needs of you and your pet(s). Your home and your pet’s safety are always my top priority. I treat every house I stay in with the same care and respect I’d want for my own — securing doors and gates, following your pet’s routine closely, and staying alert to anything out of the ordinary. About: Ive been around pets all my life! I started raising dogs when I was 11 and have helped friends and nieghbors with their dogs and cats since I was 15. Tasks have ranged from small check-ins with pets, to staying overnight to keep them company. Right now I work at a local food pantry on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sundays are also a busy day for me, but I can be very flexible and move times around with enough notice. I have one black short haired cat that I spend most of my time with. She stays indoors, but I let her come out on my back deck to get some air and a better view of the birds and chipmunks she always has beef with. She's the most hyperactive and persnicity cat I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, so I'm experienced with cats who have their own ways of playing.

About: I have grown up around animals my entire life! I’ve had dogs of many breeds and sizes, lots of cats, and guinea pig. I’ve always enjoyed being around animals, playing with them, and caring for them. During the pandemic, I taught myself how to train my dog Gus, and while I’m not certified trainer, I am familiar with all of the basic commands and am comfortable using them if your dog knows certain ones. I’m used to being around animals of all energy levels and personalities, so if your animal is high energy and needs lots of love and attention, you have a senior animal that likes to take things slow, or your animal is somewhere in between, rest assured that they will get the care they need and deserve! I currently have one dog, a Plott Hound named Gus, who loves walks, playing time, and snacks. I love taking pictures of my dog, so you will get tons of pictures, videos, and updates about your pets too! I am a small business owner, so my schedule is usually pretty flexible. I own a bookstore that I manage full time, so some days during the week I would only be available early morning or after 6:30pm, but 3-4 days every week I am completely free! While I wouldn’t be able to bring your pets to my apartment, I would make sure they get all the care and love they need in the comfort of their home, whether that’s through walks, potty breaks, play time, snuggles, or feeding. Each animal will be treated just like my own.
