About: Hi, I’m a full-time teacher and part-time pet sitter with nearly a decade of experience caring for animals! It all started with my aunt and uncle, whose pets I’ve looked after for almost ten years. Over the years, they’ve had three wonderful dogs and a few guinea pigs, and I’ve loved every moment of caring for them. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. When I’m in a client’s home, I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and stress-free in their familiar environment. I prefer working with homes that have a fenced yard to ensure dogs can enjoy outdoor time without the risk of getting loose. I'm comfortable feeding pets, administering medication if needed, and of course—providing plenty of cuddles, playtime, and attention. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always aim to keep their routine as consistent and comforting as possible.

About: I grew up with a beautiful golden retriever named Shasta and a cat named Mystic. I've lived with and helped care for a corgi named Tucker and a mid-sized, muscular rescue named Brooklyn. My grandma has consistently cared for two female goldens at once my entire life, and I have seen them and aided in care as several went through cancer treatment - most recently losing Rummy to lymphoma. My dad and stepmom have Remi - featured in most of the photos - who I occasionally dogsit. My mom has a cat named Fiona whom I adore, and though my full-time job doesn't allow me to have a pet of my own, it makes me the perfect pet sitter over the summer! My availability is wide open to prioritize your pets' needs! Summers are a win-win - you get a pet sitter, and I get to play with your pets! My goal is to adhere to your pet's schedule and comfort level in your home or mine! I live on the third floor of an apartment complex (can carry a small-to-mid-sized pet up the stairs if needed!) that has several gated dog-park areas (if you are okay with that, we won't play with other dogs!). My apartment has a balcony where your pet and I can sit and enjoy some sun and a good nap. My gated community is perfect for walks, or a run if your dog prefers more cardio! I do not own a crate or gate, but would be happy to bring yours over based on your preference. My laundry room and kitchen are not carpeted, bedroom and living room are. My stepsister is pre-veterinary pharmacology getting her MS in Animal Science at NC State, so if I have questions about general care, I ask her.

We did not have to stress any on whether they were properly being cared for. For several days, her fiancé helped care for them and he was just as amazing. Pets in my care enjoy a safe, peaceful environment with lots of space to roam! I live on a farm with horse's that has lots of open land perfect for supervised exploring. Occasionally, other friendly, trained dogs may visit with their owners, making it a great social experience. About: I have been taking care of family members' dogs regularly for years, including senior dogs with special needs and puppies with no training. Over the years I have gained a working knowledge of caring for dogs with dietary restrictions and mobility issues. I have also had experience teaching two puppies potty training and leash training. Any size dog is welcome, for I have taken care of dogs ranging from six to ninety pounds. I can work around the pet's needs if given a few days to iron out personal schedules. I am in college, so if I spend the night pet sitting, I will have to allocate a certain amount of time for my classes. When in a client's home I like to have a detailed list of instructions regarding the locations of a pet's food, toys, and personal belongings. I will always strive to keep a pet's usual schedule when inside their home and leave time for them to become comfortable with me. I am not afraid of reactive dogs, I can handle ones that bark and bite easily. As the night progresses I will make sure that the home is secure, clean, and happy for the dog I am watching. I am perfectly happy to sleep with the dog on a couch or on the floor if the need arises. Special dietary needs are always important to me, so medications and food will be given correctly at the allocated times.
