About: Having trained my own puppy and cared for dogs up to 15 years old, I’m comfortable with all ages and needs. As a recent UNC Chapel Hill grad, I have plenty of time this summer for long walks, playtime, and making your dog feel safe, loved, and at home. My experience includes: fostering and training a 7 year old husky mix with behavioral problems and training my 3 year old dog since puppyhood with the help of a friend who is a behavioral dog trainer. About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, currently owning my cat, Boots. I am reliable and will ensure your pet gets the care needed. I work from home two days a week and have weekends free. I will have the flexibility to take animals on walks and go out if needed. I like in an apartment with access to a dog park and trail to walk on. We really can’t say enough good things about our experience with Claudia! We have seven animals and a couple have some special needs. She took the time to come a few times before our trip to practice medicating our diabetic cat and to meet and hang out with the other animals. During the trip she was consistent with updates, medication, feeding times and communication. She reached out with questions and to verify instructions. When we returned everyone was happy and well and I’m pretty sure they didn’t want Claudia to leave. We will absolutely book with her again!
Tara was so great with my kiddos! My boy is not easy at first, and she was very patient with him and by the end, they were snuggling. She also gave my girl some medicated eye drops she needed. She sent lots of updates and pictures and took great care of my house. Thanks so much Tara!
Ana really saved me in a pinch! She came and did a meet and greet with my dogs the same night I messaged her after a previous sitter cancelled on me last minute!! She was super sweet and even brought her son with her to play with my pups!! They loved her and her son! We will definitely be rebooking!!
Dinira was amazing in every way possible! Communication, willingness to help, etc… We were out of town and had her watch our two dogs for one night… our cat knocked off a bottle of Advil from the counter and between visits, our Bernese mountain dog ATE part of the bottle and (at the time we thought) some pills. Thanks to Dinira’s quick action, we were notified, able to call poison control and our vet, and come up with a solution. Dinira was even kind enough to run to the store and get the items suggested by our vet/poison control. Definitely will be having her watch our animals again, but our sweet Berner will be locked up from now on! Lol
Maggie was a fantastic sitter! She took great care of my dog during the worst of ice/sleet storms in years. My dog is very active and gets antsy when not walked enough, but I came back to a calm, happy furbaby. Not only did Maggie get the doggo's energy out, she also extended her stay when our flights back home got cancelled, twice. I will be forever grateful for the care, and Maggie's flexibility and fast communication in an unstable situation. She also checked in about my dog's comfort, which I appreciated. Recommend 15/10.
Shaina was amazing! I have a pit bull/Rottweiler mix who is a snuggler, but also very energetic. Shaina knew just what to do to win her over! She also took very good care of my home and left it in better shape than I did!! My usual sitter had an emergency and at the last minute couldn't stay. Shaina was able to get put it on her schedule. Forever grateful for finding her! I WILL be a return customer!
Emily did a great job watching our dog. She was quick to respond to messages and gave us regular updates while we were gone. I particularly liked that she let us know her planned schedule for communicating with us, so we knew when to expect an update each day. Our dog was happy when we returned and our house was just as we left it. We definitely recommend Emily!
