About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was very young because I grew up with 3 cats. I also have fostered cats in the past and have had great experiences with them. My girlfriend has a mini labradoodle that I am consistently hanging out with and taking him for walks. I love to take dogs for walks and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for! I am currently in my first year of grad school at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts studying to be a professional opera singer. My schedule is very open as my class schedule is light this semester. I would love to take care of your pets and can easily find a time for a meet and greet before booking. I may even practice singing to your pups. :) I am very aware that there is a lot of trust required to have someone take care of their pets. I am extremely understanding of this as I have had friends look after my pets. I am respectful of personal space and will follow all of the directions that you as of me!

EXPERIENCE: I’ve fostered dogs all my life. I was a foster parent for the BTRNC (Boston Terrier Rescue of North Carolina). I adopted 1 of my fosters ( Isabel “Izzy” in profile pic) and stayed in contact with all my fosters and their forever families. I’m an active and passionate supporter and volunteer of our local shelter; Humane Society; AARF and other local rescues and pet charities. I’ve fostered; adopted and owned amazing companions who have given meaning and love to my life. It is now me and my 2 boys. MY DOGS Dog #1: DREXL Drexl and I have been together since he was a little pup in 2017. His birth Dad was 100% American Staffordshire. His birth Mom was 50% Greyhound and 50% Basset Hound. Drexl is a handsome; smart; sensitive; loving boy. He has never been aggressive, but he does have a loud bark that can be off putting at first meeting. It’s just his nature to bark when other dogs in the neighborhood pass or people come to the door. He doesn’t bark at length, but will greet visitors with a bellowing bark. Dog #2 BLUE Nicknames “Bluetiful” “Blue Blue” I rescued/adopted Blue from the local county animal shelter in 2020. He was malnourished and severely underweight. In short time with all the time I could give him, Blue began living his best life. Blue is a simple boy. His turn on’s are people who want to pet him; food (string cheese is his fav special treat); and “getting under” the covers with Mom (day or night, Blue will cuddle up as close to Momma as he can. He is sweet; low energy; not interested in other dogs (never aggressive just oblivious and uninterested if it isn’t a human; a car ride or food). My boys are loving; and loved; protecting and protected. I am single and work close to home so care and attention is what your dog will receive. I have a large fenced in yard; I would not require a crate unless owner provides. -I work 2 minutes from my home. -My work hours are 6am-2pm with 2 breaks when I come home to let dogs outside or for walks. ***Preference for DROPOFF/PICKUP time is 5:30am or after 2:30pm *** I spend the rest of afternoon and evening with the dogs. We take walks or cuddle up and watch tv. Outside of work, I enjoy being at home with the dogs. I will always respect and deliver owner’s directions for dog(s) needs; care and routine. The PRIVATE PUP EN SUITE provides in a safe; secure home with awesome walking options in neighborhood.

Ryan R.

“Ryan was very patient and understanding of Simba’s background. We both were very pleased with our 1st meeting and walk with Ryan. We will definitely be scheduling him for regular visits! Thank you Ryan for easing our hearts ??…”

Alexis H.
“I have two German Shepard's (Boone and Dallas) which both common from shelters. They often do not trust people easily because of the rough background they come from. However, when they met Alexis they instantly liked her and every time she'd come over to look after them they'd run to the door jumping for joy. Alexis is very responsible and hardworking woman who knows how to take care of dogs well. She always has a positive attitude every time I see her and is always finding ways to impress me. I would highly recommend her to anyone that wants a loving and hardworking dog caregiver!”
