“Emlee's kind, dependable and I would hire her again. Ann”

“Could not be happier that we found Barber on this site. She was so caring and gentle as our new girl got used to her and so helpful with tips as it was our first time using a service. Charlotte is so excited to see her and could not recommend her more.”

“Emily was a pleasure to work with! She was patient and gentle with my dog, who has never had a walker and was initially very scared. My dog visibly gained confidence as they went on more walks, as Emily took the extra time and effort to get her comfortable. I would recommend her anywhere.”

“Ian is amazing with our dog Lila. He's very tolerant of her quirks (like refusing to walk in the rain) and takes the best pictures of her as well. He's very reliable and we can trust that he'll take great care of our girl.”

About: Hi, I’m Maggie! I’m a responsible and hardworking dog lover who knows how important it is to have reliable care for your pup. I work a 9-5 job but can stop by at lunch for a 20-minute walk, potty break, or playtime. Whether your dog needs a quick stroll or some extra attention, I’ll make sure they feel loved and cared for while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend! Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I love spending time with dogs and making sure they’re happy and well cared for. I work a 9-5 job, but I’m able to take a break at lunch for a 20-minute visit to let dogs out, go for a walk, or give them some playtime. On evenings and weekends, I have more flexibility for longer visits or extra care. Whether it’s a midday potty break or weekend adventures, I’m happy to fit pet care into my schedule in a way that works best for you and your pup! I understand the importance of respecting someone else’s space, especially since I’m new to town and currently staying in temporary housing myself. I know what it’s like to live in a space that isn’t your own, so I make sure to treat every home with care and consideration. When caring for pets in their home, I follow all instructions closely, keep things clean and tidy, and ensure pets feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. My goal is to provide reliable, stress-free care for both you and your pet!

“Dinira is always so great with my older Chihuahua mix. She is patient and gentle with him. She goes the extra mile to let me know if he is acting like he doesn’t feel good and cleans up after him if she finds a mess in the house when she arrives.”

“She did amazing with our pup Murph! He is a super energetic dog and requires someone with lots of patience. Murph would love to have her walk him again!”

“Wish I could give more than 5 stars because he deserves it. My dog was well cared for and ate his food. Even my normally shy cat liked him, which is a huge testament to him.”

About: Hello! I have years and years of experience with both dogs and cats. I worked at a kennel for about a year where I was trained in dog behavior and body language. I also have several years of wildlife rehabilitation experience and have worked with dozens of different species. I also have my own 3 year old pup with special needs so I am familiar with animals that need a little extra attention. I am able to administer both oral and injection medication if needed. I am in Winston-Salem just for the summer to spend time with family. My schedule is wide open at the moment so feel free to send me a quick message about scheduling! I am not able to offer day care or boarding services at the moment but am available for drop in, overnight sitting, and dog walking! I will care for your fur babies the same as I would my own. Whether they are super active and want to go on a ton of fun walks with me or sit and cuddle on the couch, I am happy to meet whatever needs your pets have!

“Julian was a wonderful walker for my dog—he learned how to handle Gumbeaux quickly and worked around my schedule. I appreciated the thoughtful photo updates and detailed notes, which always kept me at ease. Punctual, professional, and genuinely caring, Julian exceeded expectations and I’d happily book him again.”

About: Hi! I'm Sarah—a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I have a 10-year old Texas Heeler who I've raised since he was a puppy, and I grew up surrounded by cats, dogs, and even bunnies! I'm especially skilled with senior pets and those needing medication, and I provide attentive care tailored to each pet's specific needs. I’m also very active and love working with energetic pups who need exercise and playtime to stay happy and healthy. You can count on open communication, and flexible scheduling—including last-minute bookings when life gets busy. Whether it's a walk around the block or overnight home care, your pet will be treated like family. Let’s connect—I’d love to meet your furry friend! I currently work part-time as a photographer and photo retoucher, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I'm available throughout the week Monday-Friday, typically between 8 AM and 7 PM. This flexibility allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine—whether it's dog walking, playtime, feeding, or home sitting. I'm committed to providing consistent and attentive care whenever it's needed. I have a senior dog who just turned 10 years old! He has Cushing's disease and allergies, so I'm very experienced with administering daily medications on a consistent schedule, including glucosamine for his joints. We go on walks twice a day, play in our fenced-in backyard, and visit local dog parks for socializing and exercise. As an active person, I love providing my clients’ pets with the same level of care and attention—whether that’s daily walks around the neighborhood, games of fetch, or just quality one-on-one time. I understand how important it is to tailor care to each dog’s individual needs, especially when they require a bit of extra love and attention.

“Grayson was very sweet, on time, and attentive.”

About: I have always had dogs growing up, and if I could own 40 dogs, I would. I have grown up walking and playing with all of the dogs in my neighborhood, and I would frequently house sit and dog sit for my grandparents when they would travel. When I was 13, I trained my dog to do special tricks, including shake, spin, stay, sit pretty, circus, dog, roll over, play dead, and I even trained her to be in our local musical Annie, as Sandy. I take her hiking frequently, because I love the outdoors just as much as she does. I love dogs more than anything on this Earth and I truly believe every dog deserves the love attention and spoiling I have to offer. I have also worked with older dogs that require specific medication and have disabilities. I believe no matter the age, every dog is a puppy, and playing with them always brings out my inner child. i’m currently working part time, so I have lots of time to hang out with puppies! I would like to spend as much time as I can with dogs, because I also do a lot of of my work online, so I could stay with dogs even longer. I will care for your pet and whatever way fits your home and your pets lifestyle. I am happy to adjust to how you handle potty, enrichment activities, cleanup, etc.

“Dave was great and was very accommodating with my last-minute request. My dog is pretty shy with new people and he managed to get her to go out (that’s a big deal). I really appreciated Dave’s quick responses and the pictures! I will definitely reach out to him in the future.”

“Camdyn was so sweet and was great with our dog Buddy! She sent great pictures and gave a great detail of their visit. I would definitely recommend and will be calling her again!”

“Kaitlyn has been wonderful caring for our dog Freya! Our girl is very shy and nervous around strangers, and Kaitlyn has gone above and beyond to help her feel comfortable and less anxious, even coming a little early to allow Freya some time to warm up. I will definitely recommend Kaitlyn to our friends and family and anyone in need of a reliable and professional pet sitter.”

Connor C.
“I’m thrilled to recommend Connor Curtin as a pet sitter and dog walker on Rover. I’ve known Connor and his wife for over two years, and during that time, he’s become like family—not only to me but also to my two huskies, who absolutely adore him. His calm, kind demeanor and deep knowledge of dogs make him someone I trust completely with my pets. Connor has a natural connection with animals. My huskies light up every time they see him, and they’ve become fast friends with his own dog as well. He treats every animal with the same level of care and affection as if they were his own, and I’ve seen firsthand how responsive and responsible he is with their needs. Whether you need someone to walk your dog, provide drop-in visits, or care for your pet while you’re away, Connor is someone you can count on. He’s trustworthy, reliable, and a genuinely good person who I would recommend for any pet interaction. You’ll be leaving your pet in excellent hands.”

Sarah W.
“Sarah is a dog lover of epic proportions. The care and attention she gives her own pet child rivals that of the care I give my human children. She loves my pet child equally. When it comes to animals she’s only got their best interest at heart. She’s patient, gentle and empathetic. I trust her implicitly to watch all my babies (with and without fur).”

Ceili T.
“I cannot recommend Ceili highly enough! From the moment we met, it was clear she had a natural connection with my dogs (ages 10 and 2). She was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional throughout the entire stay. I received regular updates, photos, and even little notes about my puppies days, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. When I came home, my dogs were happy, healthy, and clearly very well cared for. It’s obvious Ceili goes above and beyond to make each pet feel loved and safe. She treated my dogs like family—and I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again! If you're looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and truly passionate about animals (to the point of crying because she loves them so much) look no further.”
