About: Growing up, I have had both cats and dogs. My oldest, at 16 will soon cross the rainbow bridge so I feel like helping others with walks, feeding, etc will help distract my mind knowing that the last childhood dog I have, will soon part. As a dog owner, Pet care is priority. As our fur babies require a lot of love, I hope to be able to be that for people who work during the day, anyone who needs extra love or support - your fur children are family I have zero pet clients right now, other than my own at home. We have a 16 year old Boston Terrier Mix, a Rhodesian Ridgeback (Under 2) and a Black Lab that is now 3. Treating them like our babies, they are spoiled rotten - they love play time, treats, and they absolutely love walks.

About: I have had pets all of my life. They have included dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, hamsters, and rabbits. Currently, I have a 5 year old black lab mix! I have taken care of family and friends’ pets when they have been out for the day, the weekend, or an extended period. I am a teacher so I work during school hours 7-3:30. I can do early morning before 7, afternoons after 3:30, and evenings. Summers are fully open as well as certain days for school vacations. I work fully remote with a flexible schedule, giving me plenty of time to care for your pet. I can offer drop offs and pick ups if needed as well. For safety and a calmer environment, I only board one guest dog at a time (in addition to my own two friendly dogs). This allows me to provide focused care, structure, and plenty of attention. We have a large fenced back yard, giving loads of space for running and playing. For drop in clients, I’m happy to feed to other pets you may have like cats, lizards, fish or birds, etc. I love them all!

About: Growing up, my family spent Saturday mornings on our US Military base in northern Japan cleaning kennels, doing laundry, and playing with kittens. This resulted in two things: a love for animals + a deep appreciation for the inevitable work/sweat/cleaning that goes into caring for them. If you've ever spent any time volunteering at a shelter, you know how easily the inevitable happened- we came home with an adorable Russian blue, Walter Kroncat, from a litter we had helped to care for. 16 years, a few stamps in his kitty passport, and many moves later, our sweet boy passed away of cancer. Back stateside and a recent college grad, I became interested in my early 20's to care for other people's pets. This started with friends & family who knew my desire to monetize my love for animals to earn some extra cash, and eventually grew to a full year house & pet sitting experience for an older cat while his paw-rents lived abroad. I was competively selected from a public listing, participated in a phone screen, and then an in person interview with the family before being selected as their house and pet sitter. Most recently, I've spent a week in Salt Lake City, Utah, pet and house sitting for close friends with a 1 year old Corgi. I am now the proud parent of two precious bunnies, totaling 7 lbs of fluff: a Lionhead (6 yrs) & a Mini Rex (13 yrs). My paid pet sitting experience includes: dogs, cats, rabbits, and lizards. I'd love to chat more about your fur babies & see if we'd be a good fit! I recently left full time work for our move to NC, so my schedule is wide open! I often stay in town for the holidays, so I'm your go-to, reliable pet sitter when you're away on vacation. **Please note that I am unable to provide 24/7 continuous care. For house sitting, I typically leave once/day for 3-4 hours.** My goal is to keep your animal as comfortable as possible in their home environment. This includes their normal routine, feeding schedule, daily walks, etc. I know from my personal experience that our pets are the least stressed with minimal changes to their routines. For house sitting, I offer additional services, including: mail pick up, laundry, dishes, and light cleaning (upon request).
