About: Hello, I'm Haley, your friendly neighborhood dog walker! With over 5 years of hands-on experience working in a kennel and years working in rescue, I've gained valuable insights into canine care and behavior. Currently, I'm proud to be a part of a veterinary office, where I continue to expand my knowledge of pet health. My passion for dogs and my background in animal care have equipped me with the skills and understanding to provide top-notch service to you and your furry companions. I'm dedicated to ensuring your dogs get the love, exercise, and attention they deserve. Let's embark on a pawsome journey together! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to be available 7 days a week for pet care. I’m able to accommodate a variety of routines, drop-ins, and last-minute needs, and I’m generally always open unless I’m out of town. I'll prioritize the safety and well-being of your furry friends in the following ways: 1. Customized Care: Each dog is unique, and I'll tailor my care to their specific needs. Whether it's a leisurely stroll, an energetic playtime, or a more relaxed outing, I'll adapt to what suits your dog best. 2. Leash Control: I'm vigilant about maintaining control over the leash during walks to ensure your dog's safety. This includes using appropriate harnesses or collars and avoiding potential hazards. 3. Environment Awareness: I'll be attentive to the surroundings, avoiding busy roads, crowded areas, or other potential dangers during our walks. Safety is my top priority. 4. Proper Restraint: If necessary, I'll securely restrain your dog when interacting with other dogs to prevent any unexpected incidents. 5. Weather Considerations: I'll take weather conditions into account, making sure your dog is comfortable and safe from extreme heat, cold, or inclement weather. 6. Emergency Preparedness: I'm trained in basic pet first aid and will carry essential supplies in case of minor injuries or emergencies. 7. Communication: I'll keep you updated on our adventures, so you're always informed about your dog's well-being. 8. Secure Transport: If transportation is required, I'll ensure your dog is safely secured and comfortable during the journey. Rest assured that your dog's safety and happiness are my utmost priorities. Their well-being is in good hands!
About: I have always LOVED animals from a very young age and knew it was my passion in life. I have always been dog sitting sense the age of 13 years old. I dog sit for my grandparents, my best friends grandparents, family friends, and also my friends animals. I did work for a dog kennel for a very short amount of time due to other job opportunities, but i loved the dogs there as if they were my own. I can’t wait to meet you little ones and fall in love with them!! I currently work part time, so I have plenty of time to help take care of your fur babies while you are at work or away. I have a 15 foot lead that I hook my dog up to for when he wants outside. It gives plenty of room for him to explore while also staying in our yard. I am getting a kennel very soon, so your fur baby will feel safe and sound. I have 1 dog that can keep your dog company and help them be more comfortable!!
About: I’m a 20-year-old college athlete currently playing volleyball at Gardner-Webb University. I’ve been taking care of dogs for several years and have experience with breeds ranging from French Bulldogs to medium-sized mixed breeds. Friends and family trust me to walk, feed, and care for their pets with love and attention. I’m dependable, responsible, and truly enjoy spending time with dogs—whether it’s playtime, a relaxing walk, or just hanging out together. As a student-athlete with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets—especially for walks, drop-ins, or weekend boarding. I’m usually available weekdays after 10 AM and most weekends. I make sure to plan around your pet’s needs and routines, so they always feel cared for and comfortable. I live in Statesville and offer pet care in your home, where your pet feels most comfortable and secure. I always prioritize safety and follow your instructions carefully to keep your pet happy and healthy. I’m trustworthy, dependable, and committed to treating your home and your pet with the same respect and care I would expect for my own.
About: I’ve taken care of my senior dog since I was 9, and I got a leonberger puppy 2 years ago. I walk them a minimum of 3 hours a week, and brush them daily. I’m currently unemployed, so I have plenty of free time before I start university in August. I’m able to take frequent jobs, and last minute calls. I have a large fenced in yard, and 2 friendly dogs with lots of toys and treats to share. There is also space to separate pets if needed.

About: As a dog trainer, daycare provider, and dog mom myself, I know every dog is different and deserves care tailored to their individual personality, comfort level, and needs. Whether your dog loves to play all day, prefers a calm environment, needs extra structure, or simply wants a cozy place to relax, my goal is always to create a safe, enriching, and low-stress experience. I focus heavily on: • structured play & socialization • engagement & enrichment • clear communication • safe dog handling • individualized care Your dog deserves more than just a place to stay. They deserve to feel understood, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away 🫶 As a dog mom/trainer 100% of my day is about fulfilling not only my dogs needs but the needs of any dogs in my care. From adventures and enrichment to potty breaks and feeding my schedule revolves around making sure needs are met! I have three very friendly dogs of my own. They love meeting and making new friends. We have an entire room dedicated to dogs! It is filled with beds, toys, chews and much more. This allows for safe indoor play or safe rotation if needed. All dogs in my care WILL BE LEASHED. This is with the exception of being in a fenced in area. Also, in my home we do use crates. This is something that any dog in my care needs to be comfortable with. I use vet approved disinfectant to clean twice a day as well as a full reset after each dog. This allows me to safely take in young pups as well. Due to me being a professional dog trainer there isn't anyone safer or more competent to walk, play with or watch your furr baby!
About: Bring on the pitties!!! I've been dogsitting for 12 years now. Anything from a Pomeranian to a Newfoundland. I enjoy taking them outside and playing with their favorite toy. I choose to house sit because I want your pet to be the most comfortable in their own space with their own belongings. Also, I will send pictures to the parents while they are away! I do ask that notes are left on how much food and what medications are needed at what times so i can make sure i understand every detail for your pet. I will make sure to update my availability every Wednesday morning. I'm currently in school on Mondays, adding Wednesdays in January. I am available those nights! I also work full time but still have plenty of time on the weekends and evening times. Vlad was treated like a king. He got everything he wanted if not more! Clients pets are not different! They get lots of extra play time and love (also treats unless stated that they do not get them!)
About: My aunt has taken care of dogs since before I can remember. I’ve learned lots of great tips from her, and I’ve helped her numerous times to walk and take care of the dogs she fosters. I also frequently take care of my sister’s and grandma’s dogs! :) I’m currently a part-time worker as well as a full-time college student; however, I still have plenty of time throughout the week to make the drive and spend time with your pets! I don’t own a dog myself; however, I’m frequently walking my sister’s dogs. When I walk them I make sure both are leashed and let them take their time to do their business. I pick up #2 to be respectful of other people’s yards. :)
About: I have experience with dogs and cats, from my own pets to my neighbors, to strangers looking for a sitter. I am reliable and ready to help. I work part time 30-35 hours a week. I am able to stay over night or just come in a few times a day, before and after my work shift I am able to come to the clients home and see the housing situation and learn what I can do to best care for the pet. I am able to take the pet on walks or if the yard is available I am able to do that as well.
Mooresville dog parents share their Rover experiences
My animals clearly loved Tessa and they felt safe & took to her immediately. 😊My rescues don’t normally accept strangers. They only come out when they know you and/or know that they are safe. She has an innate love for animals and it is clearly seen and felt. To be able to go on my first solo trip in over a decade was more than I imagined. I had NO concerns or guilt and the shared photos plus my home cameras reiterated that she loved my pets as much as I do when I’m home. ❤️She is an absolute keeper and I extended my trip, as a result, and I’ll certainly be using her again! 🐾🐶🐱🐈⬛

Cannot recommend Aaliyah enough!!! She took great care of my sweet boy and made sure he was spoiled and well cared for! She leaves such detailed feedback with every drop in/ stay and the provides the cutest photos!! We have a senior dog and she did so well with him! He absolutely loved her!! Aaliyah is such a gem and truly cares about her customers (and pets)! Book with her!! you won’t be disappointed!!

Grace is amazing! One of my pups takes a LOT of time to warm up and Grace took her time with him and became a trusted friend in just minutes! She spent quality time with both of my dogs and sent photos of them having fun on their walk and in the house. Grace is very professional, has a great personality and is a natural with dogs. I could not be more pleased.
