“Tiffany is amazing! She has taken care of our kitties several times in the past couple of months, even at the last minute. Tiffany is attentive, makes sure our senior kitty gets his medication, and provides lots of cuddles. The kitties rave about her as well!”

“Renee is literally the BEST! I am super thankful for her. She is so gentle and patient with my dog, I couldn’t be more appreciative. She’s prompt, professional, and overall just amazing! Thank you so much!!”

“Aaliyah is absolutely phenomenal with both of my pups. I have an old man (15yrs), and a young pup (4mos), so it is no easy task! She loves on both of my boys equally, sends me the cutest photos throughout the day, and keeps a close eye on any potential health issues for my senior guy. She goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs are happy, and I couldn’t be more grateful for it. The boys are always so calm and happy when I get home on days that she has stopped in to care for them. I couldn’t recommend her more!”
“Kim was amazing!! We used her in a pinch and our animals took to her very quickly. I would highly recommend her. Quick communication, pictures every time she checked in and very respectful of the home.”

“Casey did great, went out of town to visit family and was worried about my dogs being taken care of. He was prompt with great communication. I definitely recommend and will use again.”

“Sandra is great with my cat Cosmo. I worry about leaving my baby alone because she loves company but while I was on vacation on got pictures of her playing with Sandra everyday. It really put me at ease. Sandra is genuine and is great at communicating throughout the whole process. Thankful to have found someone who loves my baby as much as I do.”

About: I have dog sat on and off for the last ten years for different friends and family members! I myself have two bully breed dogs, one of them being older and diabetic! I am a patient person, who always shows up and I understand the importance of not just trusting someone with your baby’s, but also your home. I have a warm personality that makes animals feel welcome that will give you comfort for when you are away! I am currently working part time as a self employed Hair Stylist with full flexibility of my scheduling! Looking to supplement income during the slower times! When visiting I am open minded to what you feel like your pet needs, if it is just someone to stop by and spend quality time, refill food bowls, outside fence play or a short walk around the neighborhood!
“Arrived home Winston looked very well cared for. Thank you Alicia for bringing in the mail. Alicia was excellent leaving reports and pictures everyday she was there! I would highly recommend her to take care of your pet!”

“Sara was super accommodating with my super last minute requests and preference for an initial meet & greet. She was above and beyond in terms of genuine kindness to my skittish/somewhat intimidating pets, and was extremely communicative and shared plenty of details snd pictures for my comfort. Would highly recommend her services and will look to rebook with Sara in the future!”

“LaJuan was really great and took wonderful care of our cats this last week! We have some very specific needs for one of our cats, and she was attentive to all our weird requests.”

Also I am the type of person will send you pictures of your pets and update you throughout if you wanted I am free all during the summer so I have a lot of time on my hands to help with anything pet related as well as other tasks. I would highly recommend her services to anyone in need of a sitter for their furry pet. I will be booking her again in the future!”

“Pam is phenomenal! One of my girls escaped her crate and I was very concerned because of stitches from a surgical procedure. I let Pam know and she immediately went to my home to make sure everyone was ok - well before the scheduled visit time. Everyone was ok. I cannot adequately express my gratitude for Pam's care and concern. Thanks Pam!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Mooresville
My animals clearly loved Tessa and they felt safe & took to her immediately. 😊My rescues don’t normally accept strangers. They only come out when they know you and/or know that they are safe. She has an innate love for animals and it is clearly seen and felt. To be able to go on my first solo trip in over a decade was more than I imagined. I had NO concerns or guilt and the shared photos plus my home cameras reiterated that she loved my pets as much as I do when I’m home. ❤️She is an absolute keeper and I extended my trip, as a result, and I’ll certainly be using her again! 🐾🐶🐱🐈⬛

Deanna is amazing, we love her! The animals genuinely get excited for her. She’s the most reliable, caring and consistent sitter we’ve ever had. I am truly grateful that she’s around and does such a great job, she gives me peace of mind when I’m away from my fur-babies (and feather babies!!)

Grace is amazing! One of my pups takes a LOT of time to warm up and Grace took her time with him and became a trusted friend in just minutes! She spent quality time with both of my dogs and sent photos of them having fun on their walk and in the house. Grace is very professional, has a great personality and is a natural with dogs. I could not be more pleased.

- 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
