“I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for caring for Finn while I was away. Your kindness, attention, and updates gave me so much peace of mind. It’s clear how much you care, and I’m truly grateful.”

“Our mini dachshund Honey stayed with Nancy for five days while we were traveling and loved it! Nancy and her husband both gave her tons of attention and shared lots of photos and videos of Honey having a great time. It’s clear that they are fantastic with dogs and I felt so relieved knowing Honey was in great hands while we were gone. I could tell that Honey was comfortable in their home when I picked her up and appreciate them both giving her tons of love and attention. Highly recommend a stay with Nancy!”

“My puppy Reef had such a great time playing with the doggies at Scarlett’s home. He literally slept all day when I picked him up. Scarlett’s home has a great backyard so the dogs can run around. She sent great pictures and communication was amazing. Will definitely be rebooking!”

“This is the first time I leave my dog with Casey. My dog was very happy to the point that he didn’t wanna leave. That means he was well taken care of. Thank you so much Casey. I will definitely use you next time for my dogsiter.”

“Arya is a very attentive, experienced, and caring dog sitter. She took amazing care of my dog, sharing updates throughout the stay and going on lots of walks. My dog can be a bit anxious during stays and Arya quickly made her feel welcome and comfortable in her home. Would very much recommend to anyone looking for pet care.”

“This was the second time Scout stayed with Megan and she had a great time. Megan kept me updated with daily photos and let me know how Scout was doing. I’ve already booked our next stay with Megan and her family.”

“Asher has been with Anamika twice now. Asher knew where we were as soon as we pulled into her driveway. He got out of the car and got the zombies. It was obvious by his tail wags how happy he was to be back! Anamika and her family make sure to take care of Asher just as they would their own doodle. I can go out of town and know for sure he’s being loved the way we would. There’s no one else I’d trust to take care of him while we’re away!”

“Bri was a great dog sitter! She was super responsive and took my dog in last minute notice. She sent pictures right away letting me know my dog was doing good from the beginning. She has kids, and she is very respectful of shy and anxious puppies with the kids, making sure they don’t overwhelm your dog and just made for a super easy hand off. Would always let Bri watch my puppy!”

“Yelena is a fantastic Dog Sitter. I really appreciate the daily photos and video of my dogs activity. I could see that she was very happy being with the family. I am definitely going to use her again.”

“Sindhu was amazing with our senior pup. Shadow is almost 19 and needs a lot of help and tender care. Sindhu and her family took time to understand all the needs, habits and cues of our doggie and gave him the best surroundings we could ask for. We were able to go on our trip without being stressed because she took such amazing care of him.”

“I feel truly grateful for the care that Olivia received. From the first day, there was excellent communication, and everyday Lipika had us up to date on how Olivia was doing since she sent us photos and videos. Thanks to all of this, even though I was far away from my dog, I felt close to her. Also, I was at ease knowing she was well cared for. You can tell Lipika does it from the heart, and it's a labor of love.”

“Margaret took great care of our senior golden. He got to go for long walks and play with her sweet dog. I don’t think I he wanted to come home! We will gladly ask to to care for our pup again in the future.”

“Alison and Richard did a great job caring for our fur baby! Our flight was delayed and they allowed for a later pick up than expected in the evening, which was much appreciated.”

“Kathy and her crew took extra special care of our boy Nikko. He will be returning to his favorite spot soon. She has a wonderful outdoor area and furry friends to keep your special ones company.”

“Our dog had never stayed with someone else, and she is a clinger to us, so we were not sure how well she would do. Emily and Tyon took such incredible care of her- she felt right at home playing ball with the kids, cuddling on the couch, and going for walks. We would absolutely use their services again in the future! I can’t recommend them enough :)”

“Michael was very easy to schedule with. I am so happy he was available for a last minute trip. I particularly wanted him to watch my pup as he works from home (as I do) which allowed Libbie to feel love and attention at all times. Yes, we all like to spoil our pups!! I have already scheduled my next trip with him as I know she will be well taken care of, exercise is awesome with her own playmate. When I picked her up she was happy and well cared for.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Mooresville
Kim is very nice & easy to work with. She has a nice home with a huge fenced yard. Her pups are very sweet & friendly but introducing 2 at a time can be a little overwhelming to a new pup. Kim allowed Gracie to sleep with her & be on furniture just like home. She was very responsive & sent pictures & updates daily. I was very comfortable with her watching Gracie & would be glad to use her again. Thank u Kim!

Thaissa was wonderful with our two pups! They were so happy (and tired) when I picked them up. Thaissa is very organized and has a beautiful home with a fenced in backyard. She sent daily updates with photos, which gave us peace of mind that they were happy and well loved while we were gone!

Alicia took wonderful care of my dog, Link, during his boarding stay of a little over four days. She is gentle, attentive, and clearly very in tune with the dogs she boards. I really appreciated that she only takes a small number of dogs at a time so they each get plenty of attention. She sent updates at least twice a day with great photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Link and her dog Zara seemed to become fast friends, and I loved seeing the pictures of them hanging out together. Alicia also made sure to play fetch with him (his favorite!) and kept me updated on his eating, medication, and sleep. The best sign of all—when I picked him up, he didn’t even seem eager to leave, which told me he truly felt comfortable and happy there. I would absolutely recommend Alicia to anyone looking for a caring, reliable boarding sitter. I’m very grateful for the excellent care she gave Link.

We've used several sitters through Rover, and our dog typically struggles to adjust the first few days when staying somewhere new. This was the first time he felt comfortable right away - he warmed up to Leslie immediately, which says so much about her care and approach. It was clear he was well taken care of, and we really appreciated the daily updates and photos. Our dog genuinely seemed happy and relaxed during his stay. We also had a last minute schedule change and needed to extend his stay, and Leslie was incredibly accommodating and understanding. We're so grateful to have found someone our dog connects with so well and would absolutely book with her again.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
