“Best dog sitter ever. Elizabeth is professional, prompt, flexible to help me out when I have weird work shifts, and I love knowing my pups are happy and well cared for!”
About: I have 5 years of pet care experience. I have experience in all kinds of pets, from check in to feedings, walks and clean up. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to care your pets. Im available for walking, sitting and check ins all week and spontaneous scheduling as well. Keeping to their normal routine to minimize stress is one of my biggest priorities. Makes for a calmer happier pet as most get stressed being away from their parent.
“Lauren is very sweet and personable with my both my boys and is understanding of my needs as well. I have one love bug and one wild child and she handles them both perfectly by letting them out to play and potty but recognizes when they’re too hot and will rub bellies on the couch to keep them company. I will be using Lauren weekly from now on which is of great help with my hectic schedule. It’s been so comforting knowing my boys aren’t left home alone too long and that my home is in good hands while she’s here <3”

“My cats are old and I was definitely nervous leaving them, but Juliana was great! She took really good care of them. She communicated with me if she had any concerns and/or questions and she sent pictures! Will definitely rebook again in the future if needed !”

“Caitlin was so great! Me and the boys just moved and they had only been in their new home a couple days before I needed to leave for work. She was amazing! Gave them lots of love and quickly adapted to their routine! Will definitely be using her again!”

Whether your dog loves long walks, playing outside, or just needs company and care, I’m happy to help. I’m available on weekdays (Monday–Friday) from early morning until late afternoon, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility to work some weekends 10am-3pm Saturdays and Sundays. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I’m patient, reliable, and make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care.
“She was awesome! Booked her last minute after our pet sitter unexpectedly canceled during our vacation. She took great care of our animals and sent cute pictures!”

“Casey did great, went out of town to visit family and was worried about my dogs being taken care of. He was prompt with great communication. I definitely recommend and will use again.”

“John is amazing! He is very accommodating with his time. Came to meet the pack the week before the schedule date. The dogs loved him. Then the day before scheduled sit I had to reschedule for the following week due to illness. He was able and willing to change dates. I will definitely rebook with him.”
“Alexandra is an absolute ANGEL! She was so wonderful and gave us SUCH peace of mind with how much attentiveness and care she gave to our pets. She is very considerate and great attention to detail for our animals. She checked in and shared photos and answered all of my questions as a worried pet parent. But after her first drop in of the 4 day booking, I was without worry for our trip and at complete peace knowing they were in fabulous hands. I can’t recommend her enough!!!! Our pup Ronan loved her immediately and there is nothing that compares to having our fur babies taken care of in the comfort of our home with someone we trust! We will be booking again whenever we travel! Thank you SO MUCH again, you are amazing!!!!!!!”

“So happy I found LaJuan to take care of my kitties. My typically shy female runs up to her when she stops by for all her pets and lovin'. She always takes the time to show both my cats attention and I can be away knowing they are not home feeling lonely.”
“Ashley is amazing. Reliable, responsive, flexible, trustworthy and incredibly kind. She did drop in visits for us for a week while we were away and sent us updates, pictures and videos and made us feel so comfortable knowing our girls were being cared for. Will definitely book with her again!”

“Sarah was great taking care of my puppy, Harper! It was my first time using Rover and she made the process easy! Would recommend her to anyone looking for a break for their fur baby!”

“Nicole was great! Came to meet the dog the day before leaving so she was well aware of what was needed and to ensure she met Kallie! I got some great pictures and updates while she visited which was greatly appreciated”

About: Hi! I’m Emily, and I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets as if they were my own. Whether you need drop-in visits, dog walking, or overnight pet sitting, my goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. During visits, I’m happy to provide fresh food and water, administer basic medications if needed, take dogs on walks, play with them, give plenty of affection, clean up after them, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind. Or even work with you to on deciding a walking/feeding schedule whenever you take a vacation! While I am not able to care for your pup in my own home, I understand the importance of respecting your space and ensuring that your pup is happy and healthy!

“Kayla was absolutely wonderful! She was a great communicator the entire time, kept me updated, and was very flexible with scheduling. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my very shy dog was in such caring and reliable hands. I truly appreciated her patience, professionalism, and willingness to accommodate my and my dog’s needs. Highly recommend!””

About: I’ve spent my lifetime taking care of dogs. I grew up owning dogs and spend my free time volunteering at the local humane society. I have experience handling dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. At home, I have a 3 year old pit bull mix and a tiny 14 year old cockapoo. I’ve cared for puppies and young dogs, training them to walk nicely on a leash, ring a bell to go outside, and do simple tricks like sit, lay down, shake, and more. I enjoy spending time with animals and developing tailored care for all personalities. I work Wednesday’s and Thursday’s 8-4pm, but I am open all other days and hours outside of that. I’m available for drop ins, overnights, and for walks. It depends on the pets and their specific needs. I work with the owner making sure that the expectations are met and each pet gets the personalized care they need.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
