About: I have been pet sitting for neighbors and friends for as long as I can remember. I have pet sat dogs, cats, fish, rodents, etc. I can provide references if needed. I have fostered through both the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina as well as It Takes A Village Rescue; so I have experience with dogs from all walks of life! I work a normal M-F 8-4 job, but am available on lunches to do walks or potty breaks, can do early morning and evening visits, and can stay overnight in your home for the safety of your pet. I also have a doggy door, which allows dogs who are comfortable using it to move between the house and yard easily. I supervise dogs closely and follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, sleeping arrangements, and any special needs. I keep my bookings limited so I can provide plenty of individual attention and make sure each dog feels comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I respect their routines and house rules and provide the same attentive care, including feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and updates.

However I have always had a dogs and cats in my life.I have had my dog Missy since she was a puppy until she passed at 16 years old. A few years ago my newest fur baby came into my life. I can also care for reptiles, amphibians and insects/bugs as I have proper training in labs and rehab centers. I am currently going to school for zoology and black world studies and have worked two years as a zoology and lab tech assistant. So you can be assured you animal is in good care. I am versed in behavioral activites, nutrition, training, and age grouped interactions between animals and humans as well as many of the signs for common sicknesses and fatigues within breeds. I love to play, study mannerisms and behaviors, I like toys that make their brains work so they feel fulfilled and tired after a good session of play. About: I’ve taken care of majority of species for years. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats at home, so i definitely am comfortable with them. I work either daily from 12-2:30 then 5:30-8:30 at one job or i work 7ish-3:30ish ( schedule varies) I have downtime the rest of the day. My animals get fed daily before work and 5pm daily. My dogs are walked 3-4 times a day and fed twice. We let them out just not in the cats room. Cats free roam other than the kitten when we are not home. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
