“Our dog Larry just LOVES Nicole! We started with her while we were in an AirBNB when we first moved to NC, then moved to an area slightly outside of her care radius. Fortunately we were able to work out scheduling so she can still stop by and see Larry every 2 weeks for a 30 minute visit/potty break. She also gets visited by the cats when she stops by, they enjoy the extra love and attention. Nicole is always punctual, reliable snd communicative. We are grateful to be able to keep her on as part of Larry’s routine visits during our long work weeks.”

About: I have always loved animals but have been caring for my own dogs for the past 10 years and have experience with both puppies and adult dogs. I’ve also helped friends and family with drop-in visits, feeding, walks, and playtime. Dogs have always seemed to warm up to me quickly, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ll care for your pet with the same patience, love, and attention I give my own. I’m currently off for the summer, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I have no upcoming travel or vacations planned, which allows me to fully commit to pet care visits, walks, and overnight care as needed. In a client’s home, I try to keep things as close to your pet’s normal routine as possible so they feel comfortable and at ease. I’m comfortable caring for pets with special needs, including seniors and those requiring daily medications. In addition to my clinical experience, I’ve trained my own working line dog from 8 weeks old to adulthood, giving me hands on experience with puppy training, structure, and behavior management. About: I have owned and taken care of both young and old dogs and cats most of my life. I seem to understand animals even better than humans in most cases, with animals being one of the best sources of stress relief for me. While not certified, I also trained the last few dogs that I owned, teaching both spoken and hand gesture commands. I will only be working part- time during sitting, working with online coaching clients and possibly making deliveries on Doordash during the day. In the evenings (6- 9p.m.) Monday through Friday, I do martial arts training at a dojo in Concord. I usually prefer sitting for clients with a fenced in yard for both letting the dog outside for bathroom breaks and also for play time such as throwing a ball, as well as having indoor play time in between working on my online coaching and delivery duties.

About: A little background: I have been a pet owner since I was a child. I grew up on a small farm complete with horses, chickens, rabbits, goats, cats and of course dogs. I'm the current owner of a German shepherd, 2 Pomeranians, 2 cats, 5 horses, multiple chickens, and rabbits. I have years of animal handling experience through volunteering at the Central Florida Zoo and Audubon Center for Birds of Prey. I've also owned many exotic pets like turtles, fish and birds. My passion for animals has caused me to pursue a degree in environmental sciences and biology from the University of Central Florida. I love all animals and believe they should be taken care of to best of our abilities. I have many long time customer references available upon request. I live on a growing homestead that requires me to check in daily on my animals and pets. As long as I can check in on my farm we should be able to continue your normal pet care routine. In situations of conflicting schedules, I have an assistant available to help care for the dogs during the day. We can discuss our schedules and figure out what works best for everyone's needs. What you can expect from me: While your dog(s) is in my care I will provide them with the love and attention they deserve and will strive to keep them as close to their normal schedule as possible. I will prepare their food in whatever manner they are used to including any special instructions, dietary supplements, heating or mixing they may require. As the pet-mom of a Pomeranian with liver issues, I understand how important a consistent diet is for our pets and I promise to continue your dog's usual regimen. I will take your dog on potty breaks/walks as often as you request as I strive to keep to your dogs normal routine. I will send texts/pictures/emails/updates of your pets on request. I will respect your household and will leave everything as you left it. I will check mail, water plants, and care for other kinds of pets (cats, fish, exotics, small pets) at your request.
