I always prioritize keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routines, respecting any instructions provided, and creating a calm, safe environment while you’re away. I make sure pets have fresh food and water, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. About: I have over 4 years of experience working in veterinary medicine, including emergency care, which has given me strong knowledge in recognizing medical concerns, handling high stress situations, and safely administering medications. I’m comfortable caring for pets with special needs, including seniors and those requiring daily medications. In addition to my clinical experience, I’ve trained my own working line dog from 8 weeks old to adulthood, giving me hands on experience with puppy training, structure, and behavior management. I also currently have a young puppy, so I understand the patience and consistency needed for early training stages. This diverse background has made me confident handling animals of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. What sets me apart is my ability to combine professional veterinary knowledge with real world training experience, allowing me to provide safe, attentive, and reliable care for every pet. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine since I’m a full-time online student, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I’m able to be home throughout the day for walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins, and I can easily adjust my schedule to meet each pet’s specific needs. Whether a pet requires frequent potty breaks, structured routines, or just extra attention, I’m able to provide consistent and reliable care. I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs, routine, and personality. In a client’s home, I prioritize keeping pets on their normal schedule to reduce stress, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any medications if needed. I also make sure to keep their environment clean, safe, and comfortable. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I provide a structured but relaxed environment with plenty of supervision, enrichment, and exercise. I’m attentive to behavior, safety, and comfort at all times, and I adjust care depending on age, energy level, and any special needs. With my background in veterinary medicine, I’m also able to monitor for any changes in behavior or health and respond appropriately if concerns arise.

Emily was such a great help! We needed someone to walk our dog while we were away for a wedding and our pup Lou was happy and healthy when we returned. This was our first time working with Emily, but she coordinated a meet and greet earlier in the week to meet us and get the details for taking care of Lou. We will definitely use Emily again in the future!

I will take care of your pup as if they are my own. I work from home Tuesdays and Fridays and am off on weekends. I spend a lot of time at home on the weekends with my own dogs and would love to have another join. I currently have a 1 year old doodle and a 6 year old lab mix. They are super sweet boys who love to play. I have a fenced in yard with all the toys you could imagine. I make sure my pups spend a lot of time outdoors as well as time inside getting loved on.

About: I am a full time dog mom who has been blessed to have worked for a vets office doing daycare and boarding while I was in college, and found my way back to the animal world as a full time vet assistant for 6 years. I also started pet sitting for clients and friends a few years ago as favors and it has grown into years of house sitting either in my home or theirs. I love each pet as my own while understanding their different quirks and needs, while my training in the veterinary world allows me to medicate and take care of special needs babies if I need to. I am capable of taking care of all kinds of animals, as I also work at a barn part time with 12 horses. Although I am not a vet tech anymore I am in management in health care and I work full time but have available early mornings and evenings after 4:30. I also only work half days on Friday’s and have all weekends open. I workout at 5 am, 5 days a week so I start early! If your pet is with me, I consider it my own and definitely treat them all like family. I worked in the veterinary field in all positions for 8 years and safety is very important. Fun fact: both of my dog boys have modeled for Nutramax! I work full time but can walk at lunch time or after work, no work on weekends. If I’m staying overnight I’m already used to early mornings and taking care of pets before work. I will always take care of other pets as if they were my own, I love and am comfortable with all breeds and sizes! I enjoy being active or a lazy day on the couch, whichever your pet may need.
