About: I treat every pet as if they were my own. I give real updates with photos, stick to routines, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals — it’s not just a job for me. While I don’t have a pet of my own right now, animals have always been a natural part of my daily life. I regularly help friends and neighbors with their pets, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy — not a chore. My schedule is flexible and consistent, which means your pet gets reliable attention, walks, and care at the same time every day. I’m the type of person who lights up around animals, and that energy shows in how I care for them. I believe every pet deserves patient, attentive care tailored to their personality. I always follow the owner’s routine and instructions closely — feeding schedules, walk times, favorite toys, and any special needs. I make sure pets get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection throughout the day.
About: I give daily updates along with pictures while caring for your dog. When visiting your household I cater to the dog's needs and adjust to the feeding and walking schedule they are used to. I also clean the house, collect mail, and water plants. I am comfortable with long walks with dogs of all sizes as well as caring for multiple dogs. After playing I will give your dog love and pets to ensure they are comfortable and relaxed. I have always been around dogs growing up and caring for a dog at one point in my life. I understand it takes more than just a walk and food to care for a dog. When I care for your dog I will always treat him or her like they are my own pet. I am a teacher on summer break and have a very flexible schedule for your needs. During the school year, I am available evenings and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and keep a consistent feeding schedule for my own dog. I go on walks in the evenings when it has cooled off to give my dog a chance to stretch her legs. When visiting a home, I spend time with the dog after feeding and walking to play and keep them comfortable.
“It is rare these days to find someone as caring, responsive, attentive, and compassionate as Shelby! We were gone for a long time and she went above and beyond to make sure our kitties (and our home!) received the best care. She is amazing and we will definitely call her again in the future. I cannot thank her enough for everything she did for us, and I know our cats will miss her presence! Highly recommended <3”

“Tess was absolutely Amazing!!! I didn’t have to worry about my baby girl with the pictures and the specific updates on when she ate, drank and went to the bathroom. I knew she was being walked and taken very well. Good care of. I’m grateful for her and my baby girl got the best of care while I was gone. She communicated immediately or almost immediately and I had no worries with that as well. A huge relief! Thank you so much, Tess!!! You rock!!!”

About: I have spent my whole life around dogs. My dad was a dog trainer in Alaska so I was able to learn a lot from him over the years. Since then my family has had our own dog which sadly passed away a year ago after 12 sweet years together. We have dog sat for friends and family over the years as our home makes a great space for dog sitting, but have not professionally dog sat before until now. We work from home so your pup will rarely be on their own. We also have a fenced back yard so they can play outside safely! We have three daughters that love to play with dogs so they will keep them perfectly entertained. We enjoy family walks in our neighborhood that your pup would join us on! We currently have no other pets after our sweet dog passed away a year ago. We miss having a dog in our home but aren’t ready for a new permanent pup so Rover seemed like a wonderful idea for our family. Your dog will be treated as our own with our girls being able to play with your pup in our fenced back yard.

“Very responsive ! Connects well with your pet/companion. My Autumn had a great time playing with her. Gave me peace of mind to know she is well taken care of while we are apart.”

This was our first time having a sitter do drop-in visits and were very nervous. But Liza (Ana) did a wonderful job caring for our baby while we were away — relieving all concerns that we had. She was so caring, attentive, and thoughtful and Brownie loved her. She was super communicative, responsive, and flexible. We would absolutely book her again and recommend her if you’re looking for a sitter! Thanks so much Liza ☺️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Concord with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
