About: Hi! I am a dog lover turned helper. I love all dogs. I volunteer dog walking and assisting with dog training at my local shelters. I work from home so I’m able to give your dog lots of attention and I live in a neighborhood so I’m able to walk your dogs with a dog park about 10 minutes away. I work full-time from home so I am able to pet and walk the dog pretty much whenever necessary. I personally take my old dog out every three hours. I’ve had a dog all all stages of life so I can give your pet the same love and attention that I would give my own dog. I live in a two-story house so there are stairs, but if necessary I can carry your baby up the stairs
“I highly recommend her she’s amazing with dogs shows care the way that you’ll show your dog very friendly and trustworthy. She’s the best go to her for your best dog caregiver”

“Kayla was great! She stopped by before our booking to meet our dog and see where things were. She was timely, communicative and took great care of our fur babies. We will book her again and would recommend her to others!”

About: Family and friends always compliment me on how good I am with pets. This is mostly because I grew up with every pet you can think of. I’m reliable and stay on schedule and make sure everything is clean and safe. Pet care fits well into my schedule because I’m a student, so I have plenty on time on my hands. Morning are a bit iffy depending on the time but other than that I’m available. I make sure they aren’t getting into anything that they aren’t suppose to, I make sure all pets are safe and well taken care of. Plus, I love to play with playful pets.
“Yasmein was so amazing with our two cats! We felt very comfortable and knew our fur babies were well taken care of. Her check-ins and updates were very thorough and the communication overall was great for the whole experience. We are so grateful for her and our cats loved her too!”

“Sharon was awesome with my boy !! I booked on short notice , but Sharon worked it out for a quick meet & greet the day of. My boy loved her !! She sent me lots of pictures of her visit . I would definitely recommend Sharon and will use her again when I need a sitter ?”

About: I’ve always been around animals and have worked professionally in dog and cat daycare and boarding. I love getting to know and taking care of people’s greatest companions! I have experience home sitting and daily drop in care. I also have experience administering medicines. I look forward to getting to know your furry family! Im currently a college student and have a part time job, both of which are very flexible and easy to work around. Tuesdays and Thursdays I’m generally unavailable from 10-11:30 am but am free beyond that! I’m more than willing and able to work around each of our schedules to make something work! I am happy to meet your pet where they are most comfortable in their own home, this tends to help the shyest of pets warm up to me so I can take the best care of them possible. If available, I also love having an initial meeting with you to go over your pets details and meet them while their safe person is still present! However, I’m also comfortable meeting them on my own if that is what works for your schedule. Your fur friends comfort and safety is my biggest priority!
“Katelyn was fantastic with Maddison! I am thankful for her great care and time she spent with her! I look forward to having her watch Maddie for any future trips.”

“Carina has been a great help to me and my dog, Dash! Having her drop in on him while I'm at work has given me peace of mind and, from the pics I've receive from the visits, has brought lots of joy to my doggo!”

About: I’ve always had a dog since the moment I was born, and at one point I had six dogs! (3 at moms, 3 at dads). I’ve raised my golden retriever from a puppy, trained an australian shepard, and pet-sat my friends shih tzu every other week. I’ve always been the person in my household responsible for bathing, feeding, and walking the animals. I’ve handled two senior dogs throughout the last few months of their lives, including cleaning up accidents, and i’ve worked with dogs of every size. I’m currently a full time student who only has classes Tuesdays from 11-4 and Thursdays from 11-2:30. I work M/W/F from 9-3. Outside of this I am typically completely available. I’m never away for more than 7 hours at a time. For boarding, I live with my boyfriend who works from home. I will ensure that all your pets needs are met. Ill make sure that your animal is happy and healthy, giving them the love and patience they deserve. I will maintain your routine and ensure your pets safety and comfort. In your home, I will make sure that their routine is as similar to your own as possible. I will give them the food, water, and exercise that they require. In my own apartment, I will make sure that your dogs get acclimated to my cats the correct way, or are kept apart. Tell me their typical schedule and I will do within my means to accommodate,
“Andrea is wonderful! Even though hurt & having surgery right before her scheduled visits, she sent her husband, Ethan, to take care of Sammi. A big relief to me and Sammi liked him so much she let him pet her which NEVER happens!!! She & Ethan are the best to watch over my fur baby!!!”
“Kristina did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of our kitten Corduroy! She was friendly and I really appreciated the detailed updates and pictures she provided. She was extremely considerate, respectful, and reliable. We will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!”

About: I"ve been a proud cat mother for 8 years. I love dogs but I was never willing to be a permanent dog owner because I understand the responsibility and I take that responsibility and have not been ready yet but I am ready to be your pet sitter. I have never known my one cat to be aggressive around dogs should you be looking for your dog to spend time in my home. In addition to my aspirations to be a pet sitter, I am a freelance recruiter and an aspiring actor. I have walked friends dogs before as well as stopped in for an in-home visit. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I currently have a recruiting business but no client work right now so I am wide open to help you with your pet care needs. I would absolutely make sure that I wrote down all the necessary instructions and followed them to the last word. I am very good with cat behavior.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Harrisburg
I can't recommend Jada enough! From the very first drop-in visit, she exceeded every expectation. She was always on time, followed every single instruction perfectly, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. My dog absolutely adored her, which says everything. It's obvious she genuinely loves animals and took the time to make him feel comfortable, happy, and cared for during every visit. She also went above and beyond by leaving my home spotless. My dog's meal prep can be a little messy, but she cleaned everything up each time without being asked. As a pet parent, it's hard to trust someone new with your furry family member, but I wouldn't hesitate to book her again. She is reliable, thoughtful, attentive, and truly goes the extra mile. I'm honestly surprised she doesn't have more reviews yet because she absolutely deserves them. If you're considering booking her, do it, you and your pets will be in excellent hands!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
