“Tasha was great!! We have two small dogs and a new kitten and traveled for 3 nights over the 4th of July weekend. She took great care of our babies, the house was in good shape, the pets were happy, and she sent lots of pics to let us know our pets were doing well. We will definitely book her again!”
“Grayson was perfect during my time away. She took care of my big baby and made sure to send plenty of pics. My trip was last minute and she still made time for a meet and greet. Overall Grayson was very reliable and it seemed like Lilah enjoyed her very much!”

“Rachel was awesome! I had to adjust my trip and she was more than happy to adjust the drop in visit. She was great at loving on my cats and doing everything they needed.”

“Hannah took wonderful care of our kitten and was always very responsive and attentive. We were nervous to leave a new pet behind, but Hannah eased all of our concerns and went above and beyond to care for our cat like her own. She was very knowledgeable and took initiative to solve any issue that came up. We are so grateful for Hannah’s care while we were away!!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs ever since I was little. Anytime my family or friends need help with their dogs, they come to me. I play sports and go to school. But when I'm not doing that I have plenty of time to take care of your little/big angel. I have a dog of my own that that yours can play with. Space inside and in the backyard where they can run and play.
“I can't say enough good things about Bree! Leaving my cat is always stressful, especially since she needs medication twice a day. But Bree was absolutely amazing. From the moment we met, I felt completely at ease. While I was away, Bree sent me regular updates and photos, which put my mind at ease. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Piper's well-being. More importantly, she administered Piper's medication perfectly, without any issues. I highly recommend bree to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and experienced cat sitter. She went above and beyond, and I will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

About: My family has had dogs for 14 years and I've personally cared for my cat, Delilah, for 13 years. Throughout high school I regularly pet sat for family and friends, and today I'm the go-to sitter for my sister's cat and fish on an ongoing basis. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I take pride in making sure animals feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I work a flexible schedule from home, which means I have plenty of availability throughout the week for walks and drop-in visits. I can accommodate morning, midday, and afternoon visits on most days, and I'm available for house sitting when owners are traveling. I'm reliable, communicative, and will always confirm scheduling details in advance so you never have to worry. I provide care in your pet's own home, which means they get to stay in the environment they know and love, no stress of a new place. I'm attentive to each pet's individual routine, dietary needs, and personality. I have 13 years of experience caring for my own senior cat, so I'm especially comfortable with pets that require extra attention or gentle handling. I always send updates and photos so you feel connected even when you're away.
About: I have taken care of animals for over 10 years and have been trusted to take care of my family pets as well as friends and neighbors pets. My mom is a veterinarian which has allowed me to be around animals for my whole life and I am confident in my animal care taking skills. I am currently a student so I have free time during the day after classes but I am completely free to look after animals in the summer! I have a fenced in yard and all of the accommodations that animals may need since I have had pets in the family for years.
About: Growing up, I always had animals in the house and family with dogs. I absolutely love them and feel that they're just absolutely special little beings. There’s something about their love and dependency on you that just truly makes you feel good! I‘ve come across many pet personalities from overly-energetic dogs to dogs that did not like other dogs. Regardless of their personality type, I will treat them as if they are my own—working to understand their needs and how they communicate them. I am energetic, attentive, playful, loving, and caring. I currently own 1 cat named Ayodele who is an absolute sweetheart. She interacts well with other kitties and rather reserved and independent. She loves affection and company! I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby!
About: I was gifted a dog when I was younger that I grew up caring for up until she was older. Caring for her included washing, taking her to the groomers, and ensuring she had the best food and many toys to play with. At the end of the day, she was my dog and my responsibility to care for. I have always hung around pets due to my grandparents having dogs and my aunt & uncles owning cats & dogs. My friend has a cat that I will sometimes cat-sit when she is out of town. I currently am a student and have a mixture of online and in-person classes. So, when I am not at school I am studying, and I'm at home. I currently do not have any other job commitments at the moment. Caring for pets is essential for their well-being. I always ensure that my space brings a piece of comfort, safety, and playfulness. I will ensure they have plenty of potty breaks and walks to ensure no accidents and give them time to get their energy out before the night is over. If medication is needed, it is my essential duty to be on top of giving your pet the correct dose & at the correct time.

About: I’ve had pets since I was 3 years old! I currently have 3 fur babies of my own - Sache: Shiba Inu. Gio: Golden Retriever Husky and Bana: Husky. I also have regularly been a sitter for another Shiba Inu for the past 9 years. I’ve also had cats and cared for family cats as well. I currently work full-time M-F 8-5. My weekends are fairly open and after work on weekdays. If you are nearby during the week before 5pm as well, I work remotely most days and have availability for walks :) I have 3 dogs of my own that all have different personalities so I understand the attention fur babies require! Can crate dogs if needed, have them snuggle, or get some exercise in.
“Norma was great. We enjoyed getting to meet with her beforehand and to go over the feeding and litter box questions in person vs over the app. She was communicating with us about our cats regularly and we had no worries about their care.”

“Awesome visits with Halle! My dog loves her and is excited every visit! Halle follows instructions to a T, and prompt and very informative via texts and the Rover App. Shout out to Halle for handling the alarm system mishap like a pro. Definitely in my Favorites list!”

About: I’ve been around dogs of all sizes and personalities since I was six years old, having grown up with a variety of breeds. For the past 8 years, I’ve been actively pet sitting and dog walking, caring for everything from tiny terriers to giant breeds. I currently have a large dog of my own with a big personality and unpredictable behaviors, so I’m very comfortable handling excitable, quirky, or high-energy pets. I’m also experienced with administering medications—oral, topical or injections—as my own pup requires daily meds. Whether your dog needs a calm presence or someone who can match their playful energy, I’m here to provide safe, reliable, and loving care. I truly love working with dogs and treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. As a full-time student with a flexible schedule, I can easily accommodate daytime visits, walks, and special needs. I have some days where I am busier than others, however I still manage my time well. I am available for drop ins, daily walks, and/or spending a little extra time with those who need it (or want it of course). Your pets will be in great hands!
“Abrianna was super sweet! She made me feel so comfortable while I was away because I didn’t have to worry about my fur babies. I can tell she has a lot of experience because of how patient she was. One of mine is a lover instantly and the other sometimes takes a moment to warm up. She worked her magic, and now both of My dogs absolutely love her. I will be booking her again!”

Jada took care of my 4 pets like they were her own. She went above and beyond to make sure they had company, and even stayed over a couple of nights a week so they could be loved up (of course as we agreed on). I 100% recommend her services! I will definitely be booking her again, I know I can trust not only my pets, but my home to her. Thanks Jada!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
